Worse still, these same ethnicities cried blood when Asaba was made the state capital against their wish for Warri to be used. Out of the 4 major ethnic groups in the state, 3 wanted Warri to be used as capital instead of Asaba.

The Tigray situation is completely different from Biafra, the Tigray government have been in power for decades, and as such have had access to much of the sophisticated armory in the whole of Ethiopia before they were kicked out by the present government... plus Tigray forces are getting support from the Oromo Liberation front and other major allies within the regions of Ethiopia.

ESN on the other hand are just attacking security formations and looting the few rusty AK-47 rifles which they use to fight a better armed military (complete mismatch), unfortunately ESN have no strategy or competent supply chain for their logistics to prosecute a conventional war against the government... ESN are or were better off just been the vigilante unit created to flush out Fulani terrorists in our forest landmarks, the lack of tact and planning by IPOB/ESN has now come to haunt the East cause we are now facing overwhelming carnage from a largely undisciplined Nigerian military populated by illiterate Hausa/Fulani recruits that see the South as pretty much conquered territory. ESN should restrategise FAST and make covert allies who will give them the military logistics to effectively counter the Nigerian military brutality and turn the tide, Boko haram, ISWAP and even ordinary Bandits in the North have MRAPS, armored vehicles, artillery guns, heavy machine guns, GPMGs, RPGs etc and we can how they are giving the useless Nigerian soldiers HELL across the North, the South East isn't ready for war right now, we have far more at stake to lose in a protracted war against the government... its best whomever is advising Ipob should tell them to disarm every and any armed group in the East before it gets out of hand... You can't win a war armed with few rusty AK-47s stolen from slain security men.
