Why do you keep reading my comments backward? Didn't I mention in my previous post that the sanctions aren't beneficial to Russia and other countries induced by America? Be bold to talk about what you know and stop feeling inferior when someone says something about what you know nothing about. By the way, I don't rely on news I watch or see on BBC or CNN, they're both western compromised news channels.

I'm feeling inferior to you..you must be self-delusional, you must be thinking I engaged you because of the intelligent comment you made or your fine analysis.. I engage your comment because of the same thing you keep doing ( trying to sound as if you're better informed than others, while you've haven't made any valid point yet).Your first comment was all about Tinubu being very tactful by imposing 'trade sanctions ' and how it's not a must he carrys out the military invasion as he earlier boasted, and how that's also a war,and I compared it to the counter-productive US and EU sanctions on Russia and how it has been a collateral damage on both sides, and how Russia fared better even.

You need to study more to understand world politics. Economic sanctions aren't friendly to any economy, not in any way. Russia feels the economic sanctions imposed on it by American induced countries same way America and other countries feel it too.
Forget the fact that the foreign mainstream media don't talk much about the effects, it is mostly because the Russian government suppres information. Same way the American economy, and most especially, the European countries largely dependent on Russian oil and raw materials. Go read about the current G.N.P of Russia,compared to before as well as the massive fall in the value of the Rubbles after the sanctions and come back and tell me that Russia isn't feeling the heat of the sanctions. Una go just dey read PM news dey take make informed political interaction, na for where that one dey happen?
By the way, whatever statement that is attributed to Tinubu is not one based on his capacity as the Nigerian president, but as the chairman of ECOWAS. So, any comment, at all, is/was a general concensus from all the other head of states in the region, so, nor be Tinubu dey make the decisions.

And you that's a bookwarm that has read all about world politics and economy who rely on CNN and BBC news didn't you read the other day from a western news outlet that Russia gained $600billion amidst the economy sanctions and the EU and America lost some trillions of $ last year alone.

And yes as the chairman of the head of state and head of governments of ECOWAS a lot depend on him..but I'm trying to see if he will leave his burning house to chase rats.
The sanctions imposed by AU, ECOWAS and the Nigeria government will make these guys look for a better alternatives to survive.As the head of ECOWAS he will be applauded or blamed depending on how he chooses to handle the issue,he's the chairperson of that regional organization at the moment.

Left for Tinubu he wouldn't care too much other than send delegates and pursue the issue diplomatically, and focus on our own internal problem which is getting worse daily,but the man is seriously under pressure by the west to satisfy their selfish interest in that country.

It will be my greatest undoing if I, having being a beneficiary of igbos, Yorubas & Hausa be engaged in tribal war further more.

On the same nairaland, many igbos (for real: I mean many igbos in reality) have been very good to me, they have helped me without considering the tribal war between the two tribes, those igbos I truly commend them.

My fellow Yorubas have been of great favor to me, so many many many and many more likewise other Nigerians on nairaland.

For this reason, today being 24/July/2023 will be the day I will no more engaged in tribal conflict not engage people with insults on nairaland. Good & helpful people are much on nairaland and as someone who is growing, conflict can't help me.

From available statistics, the population of Nigerians in Sudan are more of the Northern Nigerian origin. We have more wealthy people in the North. In fact the richest African is from Northern Nigeria! Many rich men who have private jets come from Northern Nigeria but now they are quiet. Those who have private jets with abundance of money from the South West are quiet! But when it is elections season, they will remember that they are North or South West! Man's inhumanity to man conspicuously on display. Please where are the likes of Bayo Onanuga, FFK, Keyamo, Shehu Garba, the loquacious el-Rufai and his son including BAT who showed so much hatred in their tweets about Igbo in the Presidential Election? Where are they? They have all melted away like ice! People who have nothing to offer humanity but hatred! The Nigerian populace have also refused to learn. How do you place a man that helps you behind the one that brainwashes you just to steal your Commonwealth? Can we learn?

Reacting to the development in a tweet on Thursday, Seyi Law noted that the female train driver is an opportunity to preach peace and show that the All Progressives Congress, APC, is different.

Sharing a picture of a man with a ‘Yoruba Jobs for Yoruba People’ poster, Seyi Law described the trend as absolute madness, insisting he didn’t support the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, to see such a trend.

He wrote: “This is absolute madness. I did not support ASIWAJU to see these things. Are you saying even the companies owned by non-Yoruba should do the same, or just those owned by Yorubas? Either way, this is wrong, so let’s stop promoting rubbish in the name of anger.

“The train girl was an opportunity to preach peace and show we are different. I’m not belittling your anger, but we must learn to compromise for the collective peace we crave. You can respect your tribe without denigrating another. Please, let’s sheath our swords.
