Obi, should know better that this is Nigeria and the present SC are set of APC goons, and I think if the court couldn't stop Tinubu on these grounds before the election,it will be waste of time to do so now.

Again, in the petition. Labour party wants the court to disqualify Tinubu on certificate forgery, unlawful nomination of Shettima among others.

Some of these cases were settled in court already, it is more like trying to resurrect a dead body. Court already dismissed and cleared Tinubu of these allegations in separate charges filed by different persons/political parties and in separate judgement not long ago.

Why is Peter Obi and Labour party making a mockery of our judicial system by re-bringing up again already dismissed charges?
This man is truly a die-hard supporter of Tinubu,he puts all of his energy in matters concerning Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It's commendable though,I wish he can just reward you with any little appointment.

I just researched online and saw that the coffee gotten from a civet poop are very expensive and a civet is a hot cake in some countries. That is what another person is using as bush meat all because of hunger. See life
You just concluded that it was all because of hunger,my friend we don't drink such coffees here in Nigeria,he might have set trap for the wild animal and successfully catch it.
Mind you, this is farming season some will run into so many wild animals in their farms, you don't expect the farmer to be researching how expensive it will be in foreign countries and all that.
If you're in his shoes you will kill the wild animal immediately without hesitation.
Maybe, you should tell your people down here in Nigeria to always go to farm with their PCs so as to research how expensive an animal will be if it were to be in foreign countries before killing it.

Good. Atiku has become igbo defender. The only way to resolve this problem is for Igbo to hand-off on Lagos politics.
You think you're reasonable, what's it with this obsession about the igbos in Lagos.

Is like you wicked Yoruba folks want to turn to a new miyatti Allah because Inec just declared your brother the winner of this highly manipulated pres election.

I love Obi's way of doing things,if his mandate was truly stolen and i hope the court helps him restore it,or at least prove it to the world that it was stolen.
This will set a good precedent in our political scene, and make for the readjustment of the system, because this whole institutional failure needs urgent attention.
Best of luck to the good man.🤞

PoliticsRe: An Apology To The Igbo People Of Nigeria by Bigshots001(m): 3:59pm On Mar 20, 2023
Seun:
Dear Igbo People,

I sincerely apologize for allowing a toxic political banner advert which said, "Lagos can never be run from Anambra; go and vote" to run on Nairaland for several hours on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

The mischievously worded banner advert appears to have been part of an ethnically divisive political campaign aimed at securing Lagos State for the ruling party by instilling fear in Yoruba people, making them believe that Igbo people intended to "take over" Lagos State.

Such ethnically divisive political campaigns have no place in a forward-thinking democracy, and for this reason, the ad should have been taken down instantly. No harm was intended, but my lack of forethought about the ethics of that type of advert led to a disappointing outcome.

We should have had a clear policy against accepting negative and ethnically divisive ads on Nairaland, we should have communicated it to all advertisers, and we should have taken down any advert that violated that policy instantly. This will all be in place before the next election.

We made almost N16,000 from the ad. We will double it and donate it to victims of political violence in Lagos.

Please, do NOT give up on Nigeria. The times are challenging, but TOGETHER, we will overcome.

Sincerely,
Seun Osewa.
It's was really too much on us, for just supporting our own brother, after how many years of marginalization in our one Nigeria...

The tribal bigotry going on in this forum especially in the politics section is too much, you should allow people the freedom to support whoever they want and not insult them for doing otherwise. We all can't have one voice for now but we must be very civil on how we go about it. Please stop and learn to post things that are progressive. Elections are almost over, we must learn to move ahead irrespective of whoever has won. The court is there to attend to all aggrieved parties. Let calmness be restored once again on this forum. Thanks and God bless you all.
You of all people, did you had an Emaus-road encounter yesterday??

You're right, Atiku and Wike messed the whole thing up? Atiku was just being selfish honestly, A Fulani after a Fulani 'll never fly. Tinibu as APC flag bearer his chances was low too which is y he went for a Muslim instead of a Christian. He uses religion to get votes from the North as that where bloc votes are, if PDP had allowed either PO or Wike and then get a Muslim Northerner as vice it would have been over, PDP killed itself, secondly I was hoping Kwakwanso was going to work with PO too but a typical Fulani man with born to rule mentality destroyed what have given PO a real shot. PO really tried with small LP, he gave APC a run for their money. When I see Yoruba APC people pushing religious narrative against PO i just laugh, Tinibu goin for a Muslim Muslim is something they'll ever take from christians, then they jump to tribalism like what's wrong if Igbos who have never had a shot choose to support their own, they've had both a president and vice so how's it wrong for SE to support PO whom I think is the only Igbo capable at the moment. You see this No man's Land bullshit is one hell of a propaganda that will come back to haunt them. A lame word that's been around since when? All of a sudden it became a basis for propaganda. I just feel pity for Igbos cos we have no true alliance in this country. Hausa's would have been but they themselves are helpless to Fulani's. They don't even have seriki's anymore not to talk of having governor's in their own state. South south feel they want to stand on their own as they see joining forces with us will make them loose access to their own Oil, they see us as a threat. Yorubas will keep hating and betraying us so it's just so difficult. We don't have good leaders in our region either. We now have same Oil in Anambra and Imo, what are we doing with it? A deep seaport in Portharcourt and one in Onitsha is enough to serve the SS and SE and you'll see how this their mighty Lagos will become another Osun state.
You're absolutely correct bro.
Let PO start strategizing and forming trusted alliance now.

The fact is didn't they say it alot and I mean alot... Even in the east they say that alot so what are you saying? Tribalism aside if you have a son and everyone in the community always say it behind your back and in front of you that your son isn't yours will you just sit and ignore or you start feeling some butterflies even though you actually know he is your son, you will start wondering why everyone is saying this and you will wanna be forced to do a DNA test... It's not about tribalism it's a fact.
To the best of my understanding, it's a political tool, igbos have never claimed ownership of Lagos state.
That statement was made by Lateef Jakande and whatever prompted him to make that statement I don't know.
You people should stop all these intimidation and using any small issue to go all against the Igbos.
We are not perfect, but this ill treatment against is too much in this Nigeria.
If possible, don't you think it's better we disintegrate and maintain our various regions, that this intolerance and intimidations.

The funniest thing to me was how Igbos claimed Lagos belong to one Portuguese man ,
And the man has gone back to Portugal 🇵🇹
And now Lagos belong to nobody , now a no man’s land , but when Yoruba started doing Oro rites, they started screaming instead telling them “Hey! You can’t do Oro here in Lagos, this is no man’s land. 🤣
Forget that no man's land shit,it was a political tool against the Igbos.

Okay..

Obi will not have won Tinubu on a Pdp ticket

Atiku wasn’t looking for a cash cow

Obj tricked Obi to make way for his kinsman

Bankers group are not yet ready to win elections in Nigeria.. but to protect interest

A united Pdp would have been party in position of swearing in

OBi won’t have that opportunity again .. fire is out and it’s back to Pdp/ Apc

Igbo on their own.. can never get close

Igbos allowed Yoruba to use the narrative against them ..

You see in south .. Yoruba control the narratives.. Igbos wil and have always second whatever narratives Yoruba comes up with

Yoruba told them southern President.. they jump at it .. without asking what’s in there for them

Yoruba told them .. they’re slave to PDP.. without thinking how else to get to power .. they left Pdp and jump with Obi..

Knowing they can’t win.. you try warning them.. they’re dashing away this same power to yoruba on a platter of gold.. same people will abuse and call them names .. they shouted you down and call you fool

Yoruba brought the narratives of Lagos na no man’s land .. they bought it and spread .. none counter the Yoruba narratives .. even if na to agree for election diplomacy.. but no.. they brag on top am

Peter not leaving Pdp would have gotten igbos close to power .. with hope of 2027.. now it have taken them back to another …. Years

Op I remembered explaining this to you.. but you believe Obi will win.. all this Supreme Court blahs no for Dey.

But wetin we know..

Hope say Una don learn Una lessons..

Dismantle the Yoruba media and control the southern narratives.. debunk where necessary and make friend and consolidate where matters

Sorry .. you’re asking a very wrong question.. not learning lessons.
Bro,I think I agree with you partially.
But,the logic there on Obi's case was that,it will be improper to elect another Fulani man after 8 years of this Fulani man's administration.
And also being one of the founding members of PDP and having stood with them so far,the party should have compensated the Igbos with the ticket this time around and Atiku wasn't going to do one tenure and already he wanted to pick a sitting governor who can bankroll most of the campaign expenses.Ifeanyi Okowa doesn't really represent an Igboman.
Obi's candidate was first a courageous attempt by the igbos to try their hands on that presidency seat and also fustrated masses trying to do away with these old corrupt baggages of politicians who have rendered the country in a moribund state with their selfishness, greed and corruption.
Atiku was the one who messed up big time and has met his hubris, though Tinubu's emergency was through a fraudulent means, but it's what it's.
Obi might not reclaim any mandate in S.C and this Present APC will do its best to crush LP, because they're the real threat to them now.
But, it's time to start forming alliance now,PO can't do it alone with the little LP as against the giant APC.
PDP,Nnpp and other political parties might be willing to form an alliance, but PO need to shrug off pride and sit down to restrategize.
My own subjective opinion though.
PoliticsRe: Hate Against Igbos In Nairaland by Bigshots001(m): 2:59pm On Mar 19, 2023
akingangan:
The real hate actually comes from Igbos
and I don't know what Yoruba did to them

For years Igbos have been using words in a derogatory manner like AFONJA, Amala, Dirty, Lazy, poor, Ugly, Agbero, Agbado, and many more to abuse Yoruba people.
The response has been a dignified silence.

But the breaking point was the trying to claim Yoruba land and the intense bullying that came with it.
You people are just funny folks, the metropolitan nature of Lagos state makes it possible for a resident to claim that he/she is a Lagosian, but that does not mean that there aren't indigenous people of the state.
It's just insecurity and hatred, especially this electioneering period, nothing more.
When did we claim that Lagos belong to igbos?
The no man's land narrative is a political too and it has achieved its aim, look this tool will also be used in the subsequent elections until some smart ones starts to understand that we never want to claim your land.
Now there are more harassments and intimidations on the igbos on the street of Lagos than the insults and abuses on social media, and we have to fight back at least, because it's really degenerating and annoying too.
These hatred on us it's too much.
