Some of these cases were settled in court already, it is more like trying to resurrect a dead body. Court already dismissed and cleared Tinubu of these allegations in separate charges filed by different persons/political parties and in separate judgement not long ago.

Why is Peter Obi and Labour party making a mockery of our judicial system by re-bringing up again already dismissed charges?

Dear Igbo People,

I sincerely apologize for allowing a toxic political banner advert which said, "Lagos can never be run from Anambra; go and vote" to run on Nairaland for several hours on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

The mischievously worded banner advert appears to have been part of an ethnically divisive political campaign aimed at securing Lagos State for the ruling party by instilling fear in Yoruba people, making them believe that Igbo people intended to "take over" Lagos State.

Such ethnically divisive political campaigns have no place in a forward-thinking democracy, and for this reason, the ad should have been taken down instantly. No harm was intended, but my lack of forethought about the ethics of that type of advert led to a disappointing outcome.

We should have had a clear policy against accepting negative and ethnically divisive ads on Nairaland, we should have communicated it to all advertisers, and we should have taken down any advert that violated that policy instantly. This will all be in place before the next election.

We made almost N16,000 from the ad. We will double it and donate it to victims of political violence in Lagos.

Please, do NOT give up on Nigeria. The times are challenging, but TOGETHER, we will overcome.

The tribal bigotry going on in this forum especially in the politics section is too much, you should allow people the freedom to support whoever they want and not insult them for doing otherwise. We all can't have one voice for now but we must be very civil on how we go about it. Please stop and learn to post things that are progressive. Elections are almost over, we must learn to move ahead irrespective of whoever has won. The court is there to attend to all aggrieved parties. Let calmness be restored once again on this forum. I just feel pity for Igbos cos we have no true alliance in this country. Hausa's would have been but they themselves are helpless to Fulani's. They don't even have seriki's anymore not to talk of having governor's in their own state. South south feel they want to stand on their own as they see joining forces with us will make them loose access to their own Oil, they see us as a threat. Yorubas will keep hating and betraying us so it's just so difficult. We don't have good leaders in our region either. We now have same Oil in Anambra and Imo, what are we doing with it? A deep seaport in Portharcourt and one in Onitsha is enough to serve the SS and SE and you'll see how this their mighty Lagos will become another Osun state.
