Exactly my thoughts too and why I said "If she had submitted good documents to back her claims and if the school approved initially but went on to withdraw that approval" ....but yes you are absolutely correct except for health issues, I see no genuine reason for granting her leave of absence.

justwise:

1.Was she granted the permission not to attend lectures by the university?

2. What will stop a student from attending lectures just after arriving in the UK? Pls don't mention finance because it doesn't count.
Travel / Re: Withdrawal Of Cas by bigtt76(f): 3:34pm On Sep 09, 2023
🤭 Why naaa? Lol

My assumption is that she did the right thing to sought for permission before going away and that she had good reasons to be so permitted. In the event that she was officially granted but still got reprimanded, then she deserves a redress 🤷🏿‍♀️

Lol funny you

Unfortunately, you would have to leave the UK to reapply. But if I may ask, why did you not challenge them with reasons for not attending the classes since you said you notified the school of your impending absence? Did the letter to them approve your absence then?

femibidy:
Good day everyone,
i need someone that have this experience or have someone that have gone through this to advise me on what to do..........i applied to a university of Sunderland in UK and i was given admission apply for my CAS and when for the application of the visa and i was giving the visa
i entered the UK to complete my physical enrollment and the class started and for some reason i did not attend the classes for sometimes which i make it known to one of the school staff through email, i resume after 3weeks and i was told that i have been WITHDRAWN OF MY COURSE, that i should go and reapply for the next intake .
MY QUESTION now is that is it possible for me to reapply for the next intake inside UK since am already in the UK because the school make it known to me that they have inform the home office that the CAS IS NOT WORKING AGAIN, that i have to go and reapply from my home country
if you have an advise on how i can go about it or will i have to come home to reapply ,reapplying from home will cost me more time that is possible i will not be able to meet up with the next intake which is November, it will cost me money too[pof,Visa fee,IHS and so on]
please i need advises if you know who have done or this has happened to before
thank you
femi

Get a credit card instead. Not sure Loqbox can increase their credit limit to you. Try applying for a credit card that allow you check eligibility before

Oakande:
Good evening guys, users of loqbox, I’ve been using the standard £500 credit limit but it seems not to be enough job, I am thinking of switching to the £5000 credit limit plan to see how that would help build my credit score. Cheers

Usefulsense:
This is my story. Please advice.

I sent my wife to Australia in 2021 on student visa.

She has invited us, myself and our children aged 12 and 9 and our visa is out. I have also paid like 6 months fees for my children school which was a requirement for the visa.

Owing to her performance at her work place, the company she works for has promised to sponsor for PR. Infact, the process just began and we are sure of having the PR.

I am currently 48 and won't be able to support my family working in Nigeria. Wify has encouraged me that we will be fine that abroad is meant for 2 people.

My only constraint is my age, hence my question. If you are in my shoe, will you travel?

By the way, I work for a private firm here in Nigeria and you know what it is working for a family company.

Agriculture / Re: Rice Mills In Nigeria Closedown After India’s Ban On Rice Exports by bigtt76(f): 1:11pm On Aug 31, 2023
So why would the local millers decide to shutdown at a time when they should be angling to make a kill on the patronage they will be getting? I'm confused.

Botragelad:

Alright, mate, let me explain what this news is saying in a simple way. It's about how India's ban on exporting some types of rice has affected Nigeria and other countries that depend on importing rice from India.

Basically, India decided to stop sending out non-basmati rice, which is a cheaper and more common kind of rice, to keep the prices low in their own country. This means that Nigeria and other West African countries can't get enough rice from India to meet their local demands. Nigeria has been trying to produce more rice locally, but it still needs to import some rice to make up for the gap.

Now, because of the shortage of rice from India, the local rice farmers and millers in Nigeria are also struggling. They can't get enough rice to process and sell, and they have to deal with other problems like border closure, sanctions, and bandits. This has caused many of them to shut down their businesses and lose their income.
As a result of all this, the price of rice in Nigeria has gone up a lot in the past few months.

Now, to answer your question about whether or not it is the raw rice from India they mill in Nigeria and brand locally produced rice, the answer is no. Nigeria imports mainly Indica white rice from India, which is already milled and polished. Nigeria also produces its own local rice, such as Ofada, Abakiliki, and Lake Rice, which are different from the Indian rice in terms of quality and nutrition. The local rice is milled by local millers who add value to the product and create employment. Nigeria does not import raw rice from India and repackage it as local rice. That would be considered dishonest and illegal. That's my little idea!

He did well, if not the junior officers are likely to revolt against the senior ones. Stagnation in the military is one of the major causes of coups

Kingsmeal:
Kagame decided to Weaken his Own Military, at the expense of Rwanda rather than leave Office - this is the Kagame that Nigerian Governors just traveled several Miles to go and learn "How to run Govts from!"

After 23 years in office and claiming to have to turned Rwanda into Paris and Dubai, he is unable to leave Office for the things he has started to be passed on to the next generation...

You didn't state your dependent's qualification or skill-set. Has he tried signing up on Indeed, CV Library and other job sites? An agency brought you in on Skilled Worker Visa and you are looking for care sponsorship? Not clear about this.

Greetings everyone. I am in the UK, came in with my family last month. I am still undergoing training with the agency that brought me in. I am also looking for care sponsor too.

Good stuff. So even though you have the cash to pay off at once, form the habit of spending it through credits and loans just to build your score. For example using my own experience, instead of me using my debit card for regular shopping, I use my credit card and use my balance in my debit card to pay off my credit card. This way, I'm seen as having utilised credit facility and paying it off timely. Here in the youkay, credit and loans are a necessity even if you can afford to pay cash. Currys failed because no record of you having been given a credit or loan before and you paying back.

profemebee:
thanks, i just checked my clearscore and i have 740/1000.. and it says it is Stable..

I don't do loans or debts as i always normally pay off once without any credit, but decided to use the Currys finance as a first-time.. and it failed..

Your credit history >>>> your credit score. Credit score is only a prediction of your credit worthiness and not an actual reality of you being reliable to be afforded a loan facility, they (Bank or Currys) still have to confirm this.

Not having a loan or debt is not a good thing so to speak ....having them and paying regularly is better. Also, note that Currys (for example) may rely on other credit reports aside from Experian. I would suggest you sign up to Totally Money, Credit Karma or Clearscore to get the report from other CB.

All the best.

profemebee:
This credit score thing is funny...

My Experian score is 998/999, and i was still refused Currys financing service when they did a soft check.

I really don't understand why, even with over 3 years address and no loans or debts or anything..

Can anyone explain why it might have failed?

I'm asking because I hope this doesn't mean a hard credit check for a mortgage won't fail me?

cheesy cheesy cheesy ...did you get it? On Experian, you can actually lock your profile against hard searches though. Also, do not be in a haste to apply for another CC until after 6 months at least else your score would take a deep dive if another hard search is carried out.
