Hmmm. . . good feedback netotse. Actually, I kind of figured that out, after a few consultations with some eminent contributors to this thread.
Thanks, man.
You dont need the land per se, but need the air space e.g. you can lease roof tops on a whole housing estate. Still your main problem will likely be low radiation levels as it is often cloudy in the south and humidity is close to 99%. Solar farms are better suited to the north.

In 7 years time, the club could issue new debt, on worse or better terms, to pay off the principal. Like I noted, the most important part, the bond issue, has been accomplished at a time of a crap credit market. MU's financial health in 7 years time is another matter.
Again you miss the point and it seems pointless to explain it.
SportsRe: NFL 11-12 Season Is Here: Where Are All The NFL Fans? by biina: 4:59am On Feb 09, 2010
Manning didnt choke. The colts defensive injuries and rookie WRs simply caught up to them. The dropped ball by Garcon opened the door for the saints, and the misses by Collie didnt help.
The moment freeney was worn out, they could no longer get pressure on brees, and he simply picked them apart. Everyone knew the Colts secondary was weak, and worse with an injured rookie starting.
Also the saints were lucky; they gambled and it paid off. If the Colts had recovered the onside kick, (and Baskett had a chance to), it would have likely turned out differently.
Manning might not have had his best game, but you cannot accuse him of choking. The INT was always there since the Saints went 7pts up and the colts needed to gamble more with their offense. A lot of INTs usually come in such situation when a team need to march down and get a TD with time running out.
The saints played better overall and executed when it mattered.
Still, if they are not riddled with injuries again next year, the Colts will still be favorites for the SB. I dont see anyone better than them in the AFC, and who knows the saints too might return, though its more difficult to win with an X on your back.

The game was generally boring and didnt have the big plays one would have expected from either teams.

Given the way the voting goes, if it is close, Manning gets the MVP. Its difficult to make the case for Brees given the way the saints finished the season struggling against opta teams, and losing 3 games.

Brees performance buttresses by position that he is better than Brady. He took apart the colts defence on the big stage.

Saints played a good game and deserved the win. Garcon will rue his dropped ball, as i felt that was the turning point in the game.

Colts get the ball in the 3rd qtr. How that first drive goes will indicate how the chess match is going.
Saints need to have the lead going into the 4th, else colts pass rush will bring the heat.

The saints arent going to win kicking FGs. They are having problems with Freeney and Mathis. They have always been more of a big play team, than marching down the field.

As good as peyton is at throwing the ball, his main edge is reading the defence.

Saints need to get their acts together or this might become a blow out

i guess binna is gonna act as if the colts D wasn't on some OG status during the SB run. the colts weren't even expected to beat the chiefs that season.
I said already that post season success requires a solid team and cannot be cos of a single individual. I have never said Peyton won the SB on his own, but people easily use the Pats post season success as evidence of Brady's greatness.

So brady with his one-and-done, 23/42 (54.8%) completion, 154yds, 3 sacks, 2TD and 3 INTs for a 49.1 rating against the Ravens has to be the choke job of the century? undecided

because Vinatieri was the one that drove his team into FG position.
beacuse he was the one that made the clutch play under pressure that won the games, kicking winning FGss of 40yds + in both games. Being in FG position is of no use if the kicker doesnt deliver under pressure. If in doubt ask the Chargers and Nate kaeding undecided
QBs get the MVP awards more for their popularity than necessarily their contributions in the game.

Wenger will not go four years without a title in Spain . . No way.
Arsenal's footie takes them to a sure top four spot year in year out in the PL. .
In Spain, they will win the La liga every other year at least.
you are obviously delusional. Arsenal could never win la liga as it is more competitive than the PL and would be struggling for a CL spot. They should be able to win the CdR as most of the other clubs dont care about it.

Besides, that doesnt change the fact the he would have been fired in two seasons without a trophy. EPL tolerates mediocrity.

Thats just bad belle topped with BS.

Stand in the pocket for eternity? undecided The QBs with the fastest release this season were (in order) Philip Rivers, Drew Brees, Tony Romo, Kurt Warner, Aaron Rodgers and Peyton manning.
Big ben holds on to the ball for too long and is too big to scramble out of the pocket, rather he relies on his size that makes it difficult to bring him down.

You can classify QBs based on how they behave in the pocket:
- The pocket passers like Manning, Rivers and Brady who need and play well behind good protection. They often suffer from their teams lacking strong running games
- The mobile passers like Romo, Favre, Young and Vick, who scramble and dont need much protection, allowing for the O-line to be built to run the ball.

Pocket passers get better stats simply because it is easier to be accurate from the pocket, but that doesnt automatically make you a better QB.

When you have been hit by a 300lb+ LB, you can come back and revise your definition of an athelete

You bet it is closer than you think.  At the very least he is the league's no2 QB
There is nothing close about it. HOFers QBs (who should know a thing a two about the game) voted 13½-2½ in favor of manning, and those that voted in favor of brady only point to the rings.

Fair enough the ability of a QB can sometimes be a reflection of the team's quality but not always. I'm also not buying 'The Only Position That Feels Pressure Is The Kicker'. Every player feels pressure especially when the match in question is of great importance. The only difference is that some can handle it more than others.
Players in every other position react, only kickers have to think about it before kicking. Everybody that has played the game know that much. The risk for other players in big games is a tendency to go outside the scheme and try to do too much.

Nah mate it's not just the rings that make TB great, it's his ability to keep cool and play well under pressure. After all Dan Marino did not win the Big One but he still one of the greatest of all time. Many peeps even rate him more highly than Joe Montana.
So where was his ability when he was being pummeled by the Giants in 07, when the saints were whooping his team, and when the Ravens were running all over his team. What makes Brady better than Favre, Warner or Brees? Am not saying Brady is not a great QB but he is not as great as so many make him out to be. Since 2002, Brady has ranked in the top  regular season QBs only once (2007), while Brees has been in the top 5in 5 of the 8 season. Brees has also led the top offense 3 of the last 4 seasons.

The Pat's sucess is due to both brady's ability and their defence. Mind you Peyton's team has not been bad either. The only difference is that while Tom seems to thrive on the added pressure, Petyon and his happy feet has repeatedly choked. He has failed time after time to carry over his regular season performance into the post season . We expect great players to at the very least be able to do that. We all know he has his team mates to thank for the ring he won and no way should he have been awarded the SB MVP.
Typical bias analysis:   When peyton loses he chokes, when Brady does it someone elses fault. undecided. Teams win superbowls not players.
The Colts are more or less one dimensional being built around peyton's arm. That they get into the playoffs consistently is a testament to his ability. Its is very difficult to win playoff games with a one dimensional attack and an average defence, simply because the quality of opposition is so much better than in the regular season.

BTW Peyton does not have happy feet (which means a QB is afraid to take a hit and makes him move around a lot), he simply pumps his feet. Peyton is rarely on the run.

You comparing the Brady situation to Ben's is simply ridiculous cuz  Ben is a good QB not a great one. It's quite obvious the 2 SBs the Steelers won was down to the defence hence why he has not won a SB MVP. To me that says a lot cuz we all know that the QB has to only have an average game and he'll win the MVP. Least we forget, he has the lowest QB ratings for a winning superbowl QB.
If the comparison is so ridiculous, how come Cassel could lead the Pats to 11-5 and Brady could only get one true road win this season  undecided
The superbowl MVPs that Brady won should have gone to Vinatieri. Brady has been playing under a great defensive coach in Belichick and the more they have had to rely on Brady's arm the worse they have gotten over the years. Their one season wonder in 2007 is more of Moss and welker being great receivers than Brady being the best QB. People used to claim that Marvin was behind Peyton's success, well we have all seen what he did with Garcon and Collie, while Brady couldnt mange without his top receivers. In fact, which receiver has Brady made great? undecided

I don't think the club has the money to buy back the bonds. The price drop is irrelevant in so far as they have no intention to make a new bond issue any time soon. The most difficult part has been accomplished, the successful bond issue.
Not immediately. The bonds are due in 2017 i.e. manU will have to pay back the £500m value of the bonds to the holders . The club will not want to pay out £500m in a single year, and so if they are bouyant, they will start buying the bonds back before then.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Football Economics by biina: 7:06pm On Feb 06, 2010
A drop in price might be good for the club as they could buy back the bonds at a cheaper rate.
