Politics / Re: Protest Rocks EKEDC Marina, Lagos Over Lack Of Power Supply, Roads Blocked (Pix) by BillgatesMaigad(m): 4:12pm On Apr 16, 2019
Mavor:
In Lagos, it is very bad. Steady light is only given via dedicated power lines to rich people estates like VGC, data centers and telecom companies, hotels who are willing to pay for both the cost of this dedicated lines and the special monthly charges (higher than normal rate). They refused to distribute pre-paid meters and will be charging exorbitant estimated fees for power that is never delivered steady. They wont give you light for weeks in a month and will provide light 2 days steady and on day 3 drop estimated bills quoting fees for power not given. When you go to complain, the PHCN or EKEDC people will say that the HQ in Marina gives them a monthly target collection fee per area and they divide per the number of houses without pre-paid meters. Is this not a scam? Are you not meant to pay for the exact amount of power consumed?

My cousin at Agungi was complaining of her pregnant neighbor, they have a petrol gen but cant afford to be fuelling it all the time and the pregnant lady will come out of the house late at night sometimes to be crying cos of the heat. This country is a failure and EKEDC are one of the biggest scammers in the country. Anybody who has the chance should relocate out of Nigeria.
If we relocate who will now come and build the country of our dream

Na so other people relocate come our country?

Why can't Africans stay in Africa and develop Africa.

Maybe na Aliens go come develop our country for us las las so make we kukuma turn to Aliens

tactius:

We are not developed because most of you guys want to work in an office. You don't want to work with your hands.

You want to live in an airconditioned house, and pay very low bills for electric power....which means that the power sector in this country cannot fund itself adequaltely, and as a result, we don't have light. And we cannot improve refining power, or pay for better gas processing because everything must be subsidsed, even at the expense of profits and investment.

You don't want to get your hands dirty inventing things, and you mock the apprentice mechanic and plumber as an 'illiterate'. You don;t want to invent or create, you want ready made...ready made...and you waste billions on your business importing stuff.

You complain about APC that is in power now...yes, they are all a bad lot, but you want to replace them with PDP which has some of the same people that were in the bad APC government, and many of the peoiple that did nothing for 16 years, and you pretend that all the corruption that led to the mess of the last 3 -4 years never happened. You fight over tribe, open tribal trheads that mock tribes for being thieves, armed robbers, and traffickers, etc....and you support corrupt people because they are on your side.

You want to be like Japan, a country where people worked their asses off to develop, while in Nigeria, our offices are populated with people who are not working hard enough and doung nothing. You want a government job where you can sit down, laze around and collect your salary at the end of the day...which you would use to purchanse imported stuff.

So, better make the changes needed. Work hard. Stop focusing on oil money...and yes that includes those from oil producing areas. Stop fighting for Biafra, Sharia, OODUA, middle belt, Boko, etc...and work, work work.
so bros no vex o! Make I ask you something first

Wetin you come dey do?
Romance / Re: I Crush On My Colleague: Should I Let Her Know Or Should I Keep This To Myself? by BillgatesMaigad(m): 11:39am On Apr 16, 2019
Ralphjoe:
I recently got a job at a company and there is this girl, that is my colleague in the sales department, we've been close friends ever since I joined the company to the extent that even her best friend there is jealous of our friendship.

The crux of the matter is that am beginning to have a crush on her and it's eating me up, am kind of afraid to let her know of it because I think it will affect our friendship.

What do you guys think I should do here, should I go ahead and let her know about my feelings for her or should I just keep it to myself. I want a matured and reasonable advice. thanks guys.
Listen this is what you're going to do
Follow my advice!

Don't tell her you like her just yet.. Just play the good bad guy card on her.
Always dress up looking smart and gentle whenever you're going to the office and smell very nice at all time when you're in the office. Always be nice to her at the same time, don't give her the impression that you're crushing on her. Don't forget, For now do not invite her over to your crib. Just Chill first! remember you're a very good bad guy so chill.

Now
Tell her if she will be free to see a new movie at the cinema this weekend with you, if she likes the idea, boom! One achievement down. Go out and have a great weekend with her and make laugh... Take pictures. It creates memories

Again
If there is a natural park in your town make sure you take her there for site seeing. Go see some wildlife she would love it. While you're there get some few drinks it ain't that expensive.

By now
The two of you must have gotten along quite alright.
As a sharp guy before you know she don begin dey think of you.
Like play like play she don dey miss you sometimes. Boom!
You bring out the real man in you... Invite her over to your place to cook for you. So as you chop you kukuma chop from there.

At this point
You have succeeded in having her without even chasing her. Na she go dey chasing you las las especially if you hit it right cos that thing dey really confuse their upper

By merely seeing a police officer carrying Ak47 assault rifle alone on a normal day is even abnormal. Police should be carrying just pistol while on duty and not rifle as if we're at war.
Only the special squad can be allowed to carry heavy fire arm to combat kidnapping or armed robbery cases.

The north is the greatest problem of this country. They don't believe in western education they deny their people of education yet send their children overseas for quality education. Nigeria's refusal to invest in education is a deliberate attempt by the northern oligarchy to impoverish the masses. A new Nigeria is only possible when an educated far too exposed Northerner who is detribalised is elected to lead else we all die here.

Politics / Re: Ebenezer Babatope: Tinubu, Osinbajo, South-West Deceiving Themselves On 2023 by BillgatesMaigad(m): 8:21pm On Apr 15, 2019
The north will not allow Osibanjo to take over from Buhari cos of their love for power. The north can not survive without power. The south west is hoping that Buhari dies in office so their son can be sworn in as president however, the northern oligarchy is also aware of this permutation cos they are very cleaver set of people but we the southerners think they are dumb.

Now........After the swearing in
President Buhari will be out of office in few months times due to his failing health. He will visit London hospital 2times and by the third time, he may not survive it. Then the south west will push for Osinbajo to be sworn in but the north will object and the polity will be charged.

Mark todays date guys!
Some will happen that will shock every Nigerian

Celebrities / Re: "Na Ogun Go Kill All Of Una" Daddy Showkey Furiously Curse Nigerian Police Force by BillgatesMaigad(m): 8:13am On Apr 14, 2019
Why are you people blaming Buhari for police brutality, is Buhari the IG of police?
The truth is Nigerians forget way too easily and it is very annoying! The police reform bill has been unattended in the national assembly just like other important bills yet to be passed by the legislature. All these agitations are reasons why biafra can no longer coexist with a northern dominated country called Nigeria. I'm not a biafran soldier

Nigerians are cowards we are not ready for change yet and only when we are ready will all these senseless killings stop. For God sake these politicians are supposed to be afraid of us and not the other way round. Why can't we ask for accountable leadership from them?
Why are Nigerians so afraid of fighting for their rights, ohhhhh Lord?

The police that is meant to protect us is now the one killing us in our own country, is this not madness?
Ohhh Lord!!!!!!!

Imagine queuing at the airport to get ticket
The truth is we lack people with great innovative ideas in government that is why we do things the old way. In 2019 Inec is still posting names of their recruitment list of temporary staff outside their office when they can easily have it posted online. If you see the crowd just to confirm their names, you won't believe it!
Virtually every youth in Nigeria now operate a mobile phone so why not do most of this things online?
Just like the Federal government Npower program, I will commend who so ever that is the brain behind the Npower program. The process for application and verification were all stress free and was done online. One didn't have to que up to get forms or any kind of stress

I think we need to grow beyond this level of always doing things the old way

Crime will continue to increase in Nigeria unless government must stabilize the economy. The Wealth of this great nation is in the hands of very few individuals while the majority suffers. Imagine paying a senator 36million naira!
If you've ever been to Abuja, goto Asokoro and maitama you will see how these guys lavish our money on choice properties. How will an ex governor have 30 houses to him self alone in Abuja, is it not madness?

I think the Europeans left us way too early for us to govern our selves. Nigeria is not ripe for self governance. Imagine south Africa without the whites, how do you think SA would have looked like?

If you check the whole of Africa, the countries with white skinned people seem to be ahead of their black skinned brothers in terms of well being. I am completely sick and tired of being an African. Infact being an African is like a dieses that is not curable. I want to just leave this place called Nigeria and never return again.
In Nigeria, filling station operators bride Nepa officials not to restore power just so they can make more profit. In Nigeria people that run football viewing centers actually settle Nepa officials because of personal gain. Situation is very critical here in Nigeria.

Africa is a cursed continent

Remember the children of Noah in the bible
One of Noahs son that saw his unclothedness and Noah layed a curse on him. That son he cursed migrated to Africa and became the father of Africa. Africa is the only continent on earth that is still backward from the rest. It is not ordinary, it is a curse.
