Mine has been wonderful, unfortunately I am down with covid19, and it just myself, hubby and baby.

I know I will overcome this.

With all these stories from general hospital, why do people still say they are better than private? I really dont get it. She even said she was screaming while being stiched. Does it mean they dont numb the area before stitch. I cant be reading all these weird things abd still carry myself to general hospital.....from stress of registration due to crowd to spending the whole day for antenatal to delivery stress. Not to talk of if theres an emergency. Except maybe for the cost

It's not about the cost and General hospital is no more cheap o....just 2 days there and we spent about 98k for normal delivery excluding the money for registration that I have paid b4 and compulsory blood donation. I used a private hospital that was expensive for my last pregnancy and my case was not handled well that I lost that pregnancy at 16weeks, I was bleeding heavily for close to a month...that's was why I had to use General hospital this time enduring all the stress from registration to antenatal days because I dnt want a repeat of what happened the last time. They have more doctors with different level of experience to manage every case.
Like the pregnant woman that died...she was referred to General hospital from a private hospital she was using when they could not handle her case but it was already late.

Sm1 i no describe to me how nurses always behave in general hospital dt dey ignore patients... She too endup having serious tears too.. Dey even left her bleeding unattended too... It was one nurse dt attended to her eventually... Quick recovery dear.

As in....it's like they have no human feeling at all....I could not type all they made me go thru..but thank God it ended in praise....we even lost a pregnant woman that was brought in after I gave birth.

Sorry Mama's vigilanti delayed this bs....I got pregnant when my first baby was 23 months old...it was unplanned because I wanted my first child to be about 3yrs before trying for another baby....anyways my husband was very happy and the journey started...when I was about 9weeks I started having brown discharge,I was placed on progesterone but it graduated to bleeding and I lost that pregnancy at 16weeks...I was supposed to be team February last year....after that,I suffered from retained product to infections...I was scared I won't be able to get pregnant again but God did it after 3 months of trying..I got my bfp.
The pregnancy journey was not easy compared to my first, from first trimester vomiting and weakness that I had to take drip to brown discharge again but this time I registered with general hospital because I dnt want any story....I was placed on duphastone and other drugs plus bed rest and it stopped....I was so scared but God took charge....At 37weeks I was already prepared to receive my baby, hospital bag was packed but for where,baby refused to come,I did some exercises,sex but nothingI was so tired....I read somewhere about nipple stimulation and I stared having some painful contractions....at 41 weeks,the doctor booked me for induction,but I was already having some contractions and I told the doctor that was supposed to do the cervical ripening...but he dismissed it and my husband got the materials for the ripening....that thing was so painful,the doctor pocked and pocked untill he discovered I was already 3cm dilated....he let me be till the next day,I was in pains.... I was already 5cm in the morning and oxytocin was fixed around 9am...the real pain started but anytime they check,they will just tell me am close....it was a real battle..and those general hospital nurses were not helping....everyother woman already gave birth and left the labour ward,I was the only one inside...I will call and call that I want to poo but they will just ignore me that not yet..at a point I could not hold it and I was pushing on my own,they checked and warned me to stop so I dnt tear my cervix, for where.....I had already given up...I begged them for CS but they just shouted at me that am sturborn and I was delaying the baby cos I was moving my hand where the drip was fixed...I had to call my husband begging him not to allow me die and ask them for CS but they still refused....to cut the long story short,God just sent an Angel in form of the senior doctor....he instructed them on wat to do,told my husband to get glucose that I was exhausted and he asked me to push at the next contraction...that was how I pushed out my angel around 6pm....I had serious tear that I was screaming down the whole hospital while they were sewing....after that I discovered the placed was swollen,I could not move,they had to dip there hands there again,oh... another round of pain....I was given an injection and I slept off while they did their thing....I woke up around 10am ,very weak....took a cup of tea but I could not sleep again...the pain was much and swollen again by morning...the doctor dipped his hands again...pushed a pad inside and I almost fainted....he just asked that we watch it and it will go down gradually.gave me my drugs and we were discharged....my princess is doing great,I am getting better but it's still swollen there.

Hmmm e be like say na only me remain for team January.. 40weeks+5days and still no sign of labor, am depressed md looking forward to meet and carry my Lo in my arms.
Although my next appointment is tomorrow, maybe I should ask my doctor if I can be induced. Abeg Mamas put me in your prayers

Congrats teamie,may God bless you and d baby... I wish mama should come out too, EDD was 17th nd here she still dey gallant, mucus plug I no see, na Everytime I dey check pant..I don eat pineapple tire, drink zobo tire, trek, climb stairs still no show...abeg what else should I do?

Be patient teamie,she will come soon....though I was worried too,tried everything untill I tried breast stimulation and it seemed to work....I started having contractions.

Praise God, I have put to bed to the most beautiful baby girl ever, it was through an emergency C-SECTION, the devil wanted to try us but God had the final say.

I am fine but still recovering, C-section isn’t for the faint hearted, I will be back to drop my BA story.

Team January, how are we holding up. It's like we now have 100 hours in a day plus the way my leg is swelling up, I can hardly walk , before afternoon like this, my leg looks like that of an elephant. It only comes down when I sleep at night, my tired is getting tired already.

We are here still waddling o....we will be 39weeks tomorrow,the Vjay pain and heaviness is something else...and the cramps..hmmm....to sleep or turn from side to side is a big issue...my tired is really tired too...praying that baby should just come already...Already started long walk,eating date etc

I have started packing my hospital bag o....I don't want any surprises especially since this is my second baby...though my first came at 41 weeks.

If not for God, where would we be? It’s December already Mum’s! See how far God has brought us, we are counting down already. Thank you lord for your grace, protection and provisions.

We commit the reminder of this journey into Gods hands, he will see us through, no mother in this group will have any reason to mourn, God will provide all our needs. We are healthy, our unborn babies are healthy too.

Our adversaries will have no reason to rejoice, May laughter and joy never cease from our household.

Happy new months to January mamas, it was just like yesterday when we got confirmed pregnant, see us now on our last lapse of second trimester.

How are we, fellow bumping mamas? God that has been seeing us through from conception will sure see us through delivery. He shall provide all that is needed financially for us and our LO. In Jesus name.

I thank God for seeing us through the first half of our pregnancy, I pray that the remaining phase of this journey will be filled with good news.

God will provide all that is needed to take care of our bundle of joy, just like the Hebrew women, we shall be healthy mothers to healthy babies in Jesus Name.

January mamas! Hope we are all religious in taking our pre natal vitamins and antenatal attendance?

By now i am sure some of us has checked the sexes of our LO, I have o, I was so certain I was having a baby boy cause this pregnancy has been so easy but alas!!! My precious baby is a princess. Who else has checked theirs?

My baby bump is still tiny, I wish it is bigger. Lol
My baby is now active with her tiny kicks.. it’s beautiful.

Cappo we are fine o...My bump is showing too but not that big.
We are trying with our pre -natals now unlike the first trimester and I just finished my antenatal registration.
The last time I went to check sex at 16weeks,the Sonographer could not pick it so we have not checked again . My baby's kicks are something else but am enjoying it.

Awwn. My belle don dey show since 15 weeks.
I was wishing for it to show in my late trimester especially being on the very slim side and a FTM. I don't wanna look like a toad.
