There have been several cases that my fund disappeared from my sim card since February this year. For example, when i subscribed to GLO one day browsing (#500). I wont be able to use it to browse for 24hours unless i subscribed for a month subscription (N1000). Whenever i loaded my phone with N2,000 to N3,000 plus. The credit disappeared and when i called the customer care, I was told that I used the fund for browsing. How could I used the fund for browsing when i have subscribed for 250mb (N1,000) and I still have bandwidth data of 75mb left in my account-modem because i monitored my browsing. We argued it but it is a pre-paid. They told me to call 444, 333 but these two numbers were not working. Today,0404 called me and told me to subscribed to Health tips by pressing 1. I refused to subscribe by pressing 1 but press END CALL button. Now, I find them the 0404 health tip pack sending me sms that I have not subscribed (N100). I called customer-care and i was told to pick 3 for complaint which told me that 3 is incorrect. After 2hours, I called and pressed 3 for complaint and it wasn't going and the call dropped. I called again and picked 1 for enquiry. It went through after 15 minutes of holding, customer-care spoke with and said i have subscribed and i enquired from her. How could that be when i did not press 1 for subscription. I ONLY END THE CALL BY PRESSING END KEY. Customer-care said " sorry for the inconvenience" but i asked her can that be used to refund my money back. Sorry can't buy anything this is fund no mater how small it is. Formally they have been removing thousands from my account i refused to load higher denomination (credit) now that i am loading N500. Then have been removing N100 per month now. The next thing she told me was "...the service has been subscription for, can I remove the service" but I asked her why was the service installed on my line when I did not subscription for it - I did not press 1 for subscription. Conspiracy - Glo, the owner of the 0404 just want money whether you subscribed or not. It has been programmed that when one picked the call, you will be subscribed automatically, if not WHY WAS MY FUND (N100)REMOVED. Stealing technique - N100 x 10000 subscribers will be N1,000,000 - ONE MILLION NAIRA. There is fraud in the telecommunication ? Below is the clip of what transpire with GLO-customer-care. |

Emmyk: Almost every electronic equipment gimme a "ghrrrrrrrrr" effect whenever I touch a part of it that any other person touch with success. Ranging from Fridge,Stablizer,UPS,CPU. And ofcourse Laptop adaptor, I mean the tip dat is inserted into laptop, I touch it and I get shocked! The next second I call anyone else to touch it and they feel okay, not like they didnt breath when they touch it! Does this weird thing happen to someone else there?You don't have any problem. The fact remains that your body might be sensitive to what is happening around you. This happening to me around Febraury,2012, when i went to meet my inlaw i was in their guest room and i plugged my laptop. I was shocked. I felt it and I try again it shocked me and the kids were not shocked. They moved into the house in November, 2011, and nothing haapen to them. I informed them both wife and husband they did not buy what i said but later on following month wife told me that it seems it was shocking. Since he did not shocked husband nothing was done. This month husband told me about 2weeks ago that he was shocked and he refuse to let his wife know about the incident but he had to call electrician that day to fix it - that was husband confession to me and i laughed. Some years ago - 1992. I was a worker in rccg and i was assisting technician. I used to hold wires with teeth and hands nothing where happening to me then. I cant try it now because i dont know what happened that i was never shocked or electrified. May be i was working for God i was not into much sins. But mind you electric doesnt no saint. There might be Earth affecting the neutral or live wire. I am not expert but i think you are okay and others will later be shocked. This thing happens once in a while. I hoped i was able to help. |

I bought my first phone and sim for N45,750 in 2002. I cant bring it out in office because my manager and director don't have any. Only one of my colleague, I took out to partake in the computer training i organised for accountants who was having it - our salary then was peanut, and we have to wait for 39 to 45days b4 our salaries could be paid. As we all do a better job of securing and updating our computers, the lowest-hanging fruit becomes ourselves. In its 168-page report, the software giant describes phishing schemes, spam e-mail, assorted malware, and threats associated with social engineering as “entry mechanisms” for malware and a hacker having complete control of an infected computer. While most of our Windows pain in recent years has resulted from poor security design and practices in the early days, Microsoft has taken security must more seriously in recent times. When all is said and done, it’s humans who respond to spam e-mail and announcements of free gift cards on Facebook. Most of us aren’t great at reading a digital face over the Internet to determine whether we are being scammed: We have a lot to learn to be as good at it as we are in the real world. Microsoft also provided evidence that despite all of the widespread, often corrosive media coverage about it, only about 0.1 percent of successful attacks resulted from so-called “zero-day” exploits -- which, theoretically, Microsoft can’t do much about because patches for them haven’t yet been developed. In its report, Microsoft found that those fears are mostly misplaced, arguing that the vast majority of zero-day vulnerabilities are immediately patched once discovered and are not commonly exploited. This isn’t to say that Microsoft is innocent on all counts. We all have a role to play in protecting our digital identities, and with more than 80 percent market share, Microsoft needs to continue to proactively find its own flaws and make it even easier for the public to make the right decisions. A British scientist has claimed to be the first human to be "infected" by a computer virus.Dr. Mark Gasson, a senior research fellow working at Reading University's Cybernetic Intelligence Research Group, told the BBC he has infected himself with a computer virus after implanting an RFID chip into his hand. That's the kind of device normally used to tag pets in case they get lost -- but at Reading University scientists are using them to open security doors, unlock their mobile phones and -- it appears -- spread viruses. Dr. Gasson breathlessly told BBC technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones that in the future pacemakers and other implants could be vulnerable to computer virus infection. But hang on a minute. What's the real threat here? First of all, it's irrelevant that Dr. Gasson implanted the RFID chip under his skin. It makes no difference to its ability to infect other devices. He could just as easily have put it in the lining of his jacket or chipped his Siamese cat. Second, is the RFID chip really infectious? Well, no. Not really. As I explain on my blog, the infection entirely relies on the external RFID reader containing a security vulnerability that would be exploited when it read the code from the RFID chip.
