Federer, Henin? Dont agree.
I'll give the men's singles to Nadal. And I predict a Williams' final with Serena taking it!

Meanwhile, check out Davenport vs Sharapova and Safin vs Baghdatis (2006 AO finalist) in the 2nd round! What do you think? I'll give it to Davenport and Baghdatis.

@dearstan,

I wrote the library application 6 years ago so I don't know if the quality would suffice for your needs. If you need more details, kindly send me an email (It's in my profile) or hit me on chat if I'm online. Cheers.

1. In my first program, I converted a GW Basic code that played Classical Music into a piano played with the computer keyboard
2. Library software to manage growing software CD inventory
3. Web application for the top Pension Fund Custodian
4. Web application that manages Underwriting and Claims Bureau for the Insurance Industry
5. Software for generating invoices for postpaid customers of a GSM operator
6. Software to analyse stock data, manage investor portfolios and generate informative charts

And where can we get the album?It's not in stock at any of the biggest media stores

in Naija and it's definitely not yet on the streets, so where did y'all get your copies?
I got the CD at the junction of Sanusi Fafunwa with Akin Adesola on V.I.  I have a fair belief that it is an original.

I think the best someone can do here is give us a link to her site. I need to have a glimpse of this character as i'm

considering a future with her. grin grin grin

Help!!!! who is ASA
Her websites are: asamusic.net, myspace.com/asaofficial, naive.fr/sites/asa.

I like all the songs.  My favourite is Awe followed closely by Iba.  My least favourite for now is Subway.

I listen to Awe and the characters suddenly come alive like an oil painting, like a theatrical performance in slow motion each character's face becoming clearer each time I listen to the song.  Not only is the CD the best I purchased this year but the best I've purchased ever.

In a moment she morphs into Macy Gray then she's Desiree (No one knows tomorrow) then she's Dido (Subway) then she's Angelique (Iba).  In a moment, she's singing Soul then it's Reggae then it's folk.  From the cultural perspective, she seems to be the next level after Fela, Lagbaja and Beautiful Nubia.

chychy:

Have not heard Asa's album only d song "fire on the mountain" n i thot it was

cool but TY Bello? Hell no!!!!!!!!!

Apart from greenland and funmise, what else is good about that album. Besides, there is no harvest when the land is green,

I agree with you, T Y Bello is nowhere comparable to this gem of a lady - maybe Fela, maybe Lagbaja

Music/Radio / Re: P-square Sells A Million Copies In 6 Days! by bioye(m): 12:48pm On Dec 02, 2007
Looking at it, PSquare selling 1 million copies in one week is not so impossible.

1.  The sales figure is most likely the wholesale volume sold to marketers and not end-users
2.  From info provided here, it costs N35 million to produce 1 million copies and this includes money ploughed back from initial sales
3. There are enough millionaire Alaba marketers who would spend millions if they are sure of making quick profit
4.  The CD producers don't have much of a choice than to respond to enormous demand unless they want pirates to reap the fruits of their labour
5. I heard the average volume of copies produced for an album or movie is usually 500,000 and may increase according to demand so 1 million copies should not be a big deal
6.  PSquare has massive fan bases in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa to focus on Africa alone
7.  Who is the most popular music act in Nigeria today? TuFace, dBanj or PSquare?
8.  I bought a copy in the week of release.  And I bought another, 2 days ago after a friend collected the first copy.
9.  I can confirm there's high demand for/ scarcity  of, the CD because I tried about 3 vendors while looking for the 2nd copy and the first 2 said they had no copies because people were 'rushing' the CD

@viperman - nice work here

Please, can you give me a price range for 92-96 camry?  What does it go for as toks/cotonou, used, port/berger, or car shop?  I have a preference for the 96 XLE with leather, A/C and deck ( That's the 96 XLE version of the last (LE) attachment).  I'll be calling you before the end of the week, too. Thanks.

@All,
Thanks for the compliments.

ITBeings:

What does that mean? You can develop a professional community site with other programs. Facebook is developed with PHP so also google(with python), so what's the need for all your list?

Dont get me wrong.  I am not implying that PHP cannot do these things.  It can.  Java is just a choice.  Meanwhile, point of note - Google does not use python alone, they use a lot of technologies Java inclusive.  For example, they use Webwork and they even developed java frameworks for in-house use like GWT and Guice to mention a few.  Again, though you see a long list of tools, most of them are simply 3rd party Java libraries that you can pick up in a few days (I believe PHP also has various modules you can incorporate to achieve RAD).  And when I say the next Google or Facebook, I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel, I'm just dreaming of creating another web application that would become a global hit.  Remember what they say - dream BIG.

I hope you all understand me better now.  And if you know anyone who has similar interests, kindly refer them.  Many Thanks! smiley

Errm. . . did you just kiss me with a big smile? That's nice! If you love being single, you shouldnt be in the flirting corner. Besides, it's singles that are supposed to flirt the most since there is nothing to be guilty of.

Dont worry about naijagal. She knows I'm just trying to make friends here. grin
