This is clearly the end of an era!!! This is the last yr for Fedex to win a grandslam, after this it will be downhill from here. First Nadal on clay, Nalbandian, Tipsarevic, Novac . . . the fear of Federer is gradually disappearing. Others will take courage from this game and feel Fed can now be beaten.

Goodbye Fed . . . u certainly gave us 4 most memorable years of unforgettable Tennis. . . your name is already etched in gold in Tennis hall of fame. Clay (FO) will certainly go to Nadal, grass (Wimbledon) will also go to Nadal, Djokovic will pick the US open.

I eat my words.  I beg to disagree a little.  I believe that not only will Federer win another Grand Slam, he will win at least 15 surpassing Pete Sampras' all-time record of 14.  Yeah, Federer has dominated Grand Slam tournaments since 2004 winning 12 of 16 Grand Slams.  He loses at times(4 now 5) but that doesnt make him less greater.

Can you imagine?  Federer lost to Djokovic.  It's a Tsonga - Djokovic final.  I would have preferred to see Tsonga beat Fedex in the final though. It's the end of an era for Federer.  I'm so disappointed in him.

Tsonga vs Muhammed Ali

Did you see that? Tsonga Muhammad Ali just whipped Nadal silly!  I need to celebrate this one.  Is this going to be a Tsonga - Federer final ?  Is Tsonga the Giant Killer going to destroy Federer at last?  Only time will tell.

I couldnt help laughing. Well, I guess you guys are seeing Venus as the underdog here. I was of the opposite opinion. Anyways, I really admire Tsonga (he's looking more and more like the reincarnation of Mohammed Ali to me). How lovely it would be for him to beat Federer in the finals.

Anyways, I wont make any predictions anymore. Let's just watch the drama as it unfolds.

For me, these results are shocking. Is this the way Women's Singles is? - utterly unpredictable?. I wonder what the results of the remaining Women's quarterfinals will be.

It appears that the men's singles will be between veterans Federer and Nadal and new kid Tsonga. And my Serena-Venus final prediction stills seems a possibility. Let's see how it goes.
