Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Pentecostals Reject Catholic Baptism by bishopjoe02(op): 11:00am On Jul 09, 2013
Syncan: Hehehe, Its not Scriptural! Its not Scriptural! This was your cry earlier. Now I am quoting scriptures and you are busy making unfounded speculations from wild imaginations and pornographic films.

1. I gave you a scholarly insight into Acts8:39, you came up with speculations that there will be a water jar with him. Did the bible tell you this? I do not want to let my Imaginations run like you, else there are many possibilities, I rather stick to scriptures and Learned Interpretations of it.

2. Another outrageous speculation about sites of market and cities. Jerusalem is a city, it does not have cities in it as you claim. It is built on a mountain and it is a desert land without easy water. You need to read.

3. Just listen to your self. I am talking Scriptural Israel and middle east (desert), and you are hear telling me Sensual fictions of Italy and Europe. All i can say is "God is watching You"!

So far you've evaded the ones you could not respond to, attacking with wild imaginations scriptural passages I have laid before you. You made an assertion that "The catholic church is the one lying..." Yet no biblical backing for it. I shall leave you to your conscience, rest assured that those who seek truth in sincerity of heart shall find it. However 2Pet3:15 says "As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

from your words, i can see that you are an educated man...but why are not exploring your potentails?

Acts 8:26

King James Version (KJV)

26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

How can someone travel on a desert without water, will such person survive..why not think, and see things for your self

The City of David, which was Biblical Jerusalem, is located on a low, narrow spur south of the Temple Mount and today's Old City. A settlement existed here in the Bronze and Iron Ages, of which remains of fortifications and buildings have been found.
The City of David was built on a hill of hard limestone, in which underground water created karstic caves. The Gihon Spring, the only source of water of the city, emerges in the Kidron Valley, east of the City of David. It is mentioned many times in the Bible, e.g., its location in the valley east of the city (II Chronicles 33:14); the anointing of Solomon as King of Israel (I Kings 1:35, 45). It made the founding of the City of David possible, and sustained its existence for thousands of years.

CrimeMan Poured Acid, Axed Friend To Death Over Okada Money by bishopjoe02(op): 10:21am On Jul 09, 2013
A middle aged man, Deji Yussuf, has been arrested by the Police in Ondo State for allegedly axing his friend, Tope Ezekiel, to death and thereafter poured acid on him over argument on proceeds from commercial motor bike popularly known as Okada.
The family of the deceased said their son owned the Okada and was keeping the proceeds with the suspect on daily basis with intention of using it later to buy another Okada.

However, police source said the story is the other way round, that the suspect owned the motor bike.
Investigations showed that the suspect and the deceased who were close friends had been living in a room apartment at God’s Glory Layout, Eyin Akpata in Akure metropolis for four years before the ugly incident. The police said on the ill-fated day, one Owonifari came to report that one Deji Yusuf said he heard the grand mother of the deceased shouting for help and when he got there, he met him in his pool of blood.
According to the police, on inquiry the suspect admitted killing Tope with an axe and thereafter poured acid on him.The Police image maker, Wole Ogodo, said the suspect is currently in police custody and undergoing interrogation, adding that the he would soon be charged to court for murder.

Syncan: I will enlighten you a bit here. The word "baptizo" is used in these places thus:

(1) 2 Kings 5:14 - Namaan went down and dipped himself in the Jordan. The Greek word for "dipped" is "baptizo." Here, baptizo means immersion.

(2) Matt. 20:22-23; Mark 10:38-39; Luke 12:50 - Jesus also talks about His baptism (from "baptizo" ) of blood, which was shed and sprinkled in His passion. But this baptism does not (and cannot) mean immersion.

(3) Mark 7:3 - the Pharisees do not eat unless they wash ("baptizo" ) their hands. This demonstrates that "baptizo" does not always mean immersion. It can mean pouring water over something (in this case, over their hands).

Other reasons to support sprinkling:

Ezek. 36:25 - Ezekiel prophesies that God "will 'sprinkle' clean water on you and you shall be clean." it says, sprinkle (not immersion).

Matt. 3:11; Mark 1:8; Luke 3:16 -John the Baptist prophesied that Jesus will baptize (baptisei) with the Holy Spirit and fire. In this case, "baptisei" refers to a "pouring" out over the head. This is confirmed by Matt. 3:16 where the Holy Spirit descends upon Jesus' head like a dove and Acts 2:3-4 where the Holy Spirit descended upon Mary and the apostles' heads in the form of tongues of fire. In each case, in fulfilling John the Baptist's prophecy, the Lord baptized ("baptizo" ) in the form of pouring out His Spirit upon the head, not immersing the person.

Acts 2:41 - at Peter's first sermon, 3,000 were baptized. No record of their proceeding to the river, Imagine immersion on that number, these 3,000 people had to be sprinkled in water baptism.

Acts 8:39 - because the verse says "they came up out of the water," . However, the Greek word for "coming up out of the water" is "anebesan" which is plural. The verse is describing that both Phillip and the eunuch ascended out of the water, but does not prove that they were both immersed in the water. In fact, Phillip could not have baptized the eunuch if Phillip was also immersed. Finally, even if this was a baptism by immersion, the verse does not say that baptism by immersion is the only way to baptize.

Acts 9:18; 22:16 - Paul is baptized while standing up in the house of Judas. There is no swimming pool for immersion. This demonstrates that Paul was sprinkled.

Acts 10:47-48 - Peter baptized in the house of Cornelius. Those in the house had to be sprinkled.

Acts 16:33 - the baptism of the jailer and his household appears to be in the house, so immersion is not possible.

You may need to re-visit your answer truthfully.
Finally, even if this was a baptism by immersion, the verse does not say that baptism by immersion is the only way to baptize.

the Eunuch was on a far journey from Ethiopia to Gaza riding a horse, definitely there will be a water jar with he for the journey, if Phillip believe and practice the baptise by sprinkling, he would have told the Eunuch to stop his chariot, take some water from his jar and baptise he, why wait untill they get to a river before baptising the eunuch, this should show to that the apostle never teach nor practice baptism by sprinkling.

Acts 2:41 - at Peter's first sermon, 3,000 were baptized. No record of their proceeding to the river, Imagine immersion on that number, these 3,000 people had to be sprinkled in water baptism.

because Jerusalem is a desert land, most city and market are built near the rivers, during Jesus time, HE was found of always preaching using a boat, more-over were will you see water to baptise 3,000 people all-else in a river, who will store such water at home, not to mention the disciples were even on the run at that period .

Acts 16:33 - the baptism of the jailer and his household appears to be in the house, so immersion is not possible.

when last did u see films with Roman setting (Spartacus, Rome, troy) you will see that each house have a pool at the center, this because of there weather, Paul and Peter must have make use of such pool .

"baptizo

were did u get this word from...justify it, then i will answer the rest questions.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Pentecostals Reject Catholic Baptism by bishopjoe02(op): 6:03pm On Jul 08, 2013
Syncan: 1. Please tell me how (Rom10:10) you quoted replaced (john 3:5) which is the words of our lord on baptism. I do not know why you flip flop, on one hand you say water is not needed.Did you not read Phillip and the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts8:36) "And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized"? On the other hand you say it is only by Immersion.(I will tackle this with your next post to Italo).

2. You claimed that everyone baptized was instructed to and said yes I do before baptism (in your quest to eliminate the infants). You quoted Acts 10:34-43 where peter was preaching. I read through carefully to see where they recorded that the children in the house were taken to the backyard or locked up during baptism,or even to see the individual question and answer session and i did not see. More so that encounter may as well have held outside the home.

Then you instead of going to Acts 16:15 as i referred, you rather quoted Acts16:14
"And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul".

According your verse 14, a certain woman Lydia (singular) heard Paul teaching. Then she requested for baptism and verse 15 says:
"And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us. You alone know why you did not see that the household did not appear in verse 14, where the instructions was given.

3.You said the bible did not include children during baptism. Though i say that household includes children too any day, however, the bible never excluded them. If they were neither included nor excluded, why is inclusion wrong and exclusion right to you?

4. You say the man with the palsy case is healing right? "Your sins are forgiven" that's what Jesus said at first remember? The faith of the relatives obtained for the man the forgiveness of his sins and later healing,do you dispute that? What does baptism do then? Again,do you think the servants in the house were asked their choice by the masters?

5. I will not say any word again on the issue of Jesus and the Little children, any one who reads (Matt19:14-15)will see it in black and white.
you say water is not needed?
i didnt say such thing...what i said is that water is a reflection of water have happen to us in the spiritual realm, that the water is just a ritual. but the must important thing is your confession and believe.

2. You claimed that everyone baptized was instructed to and said yes I do before baptism

they might not have said yes i do...but take a look at some of there responses

Acts 2:37-38

Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive.

Act 8:12

12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women

If they were neither included nor excluded, why is inclusion wrong and exclusion right to you?

baptism is principally a testimony given by the person baptized, first in word and then symbolically in water. Since an infant cannot give a testimony, a genuine infant baptism is an impossibility.

Again,do you think the servants in the house were asked their choice by the masters?

the preaching were for those present in the house and the all believe, because salvation and baptism is personal, no master can force that on his servant not in the present of the preacher (paul, peter), they wouldnt allow that, even u know that.

Romans 10:10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved

it is appropriate to include a statement of faith in the baptismal ceremony.I believe Paul or Peter would have personally ask all present if they believe before proceeding with the baptism, for those that believe he will baptized, but for those that dont or could not understand what he is saying because they are still young, he will skip

matt 19:14
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

he said they should come and listen to HE, not to be baptise
Foreign Affairs51 Killed And 322 Injured As Military Goes On The Offensive In Egypt by bishopjoe02(op): 4:59pm On Jul 08, 2013
Egypt trundled closer to all-out civil war today after the army opened fire on a throng of protesters loyal to ousted premier Mohammed Morsi, turning a once quiet city street into a river of blood.

At least 51 people were killed in the massacre and 322 were injured when the troops fired indiscriminately into the crowd, scattering terrified men, women and children over the bodies of their fallen friends.

A spokesman from Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood and a witness at the scene said military forces began firing at dawn on the protesters outside the Republican Guard building during prayers.

In a statement carried on the state news agency, Egypt's interim administration expressed 'deep regret' for those killed in the violence.

Music/Radio10 Most Underrated Music Producers In Nigeria (Photo) by bishopjoe02(op): 12:08pm On Jul 08, 2013
When it comes to music production in Nigeria, there are tons of producers. Some well known, and some not as much, some getting all the hype, and some others really flying under the radar or just not getting the love they deserve, and that’s what we’re here to discuss today.
10 of Nigeria’s most underrated producers. Now does this list mean that the other producers out there are not good or underrated? Not exactly. But this just means that these are the 10 that we feel are the most underrated for the work they’ve put in and some of the hits they’ve had under their belt that they, more times than not, don’t make noise about.
So in NO particular order, here goes:

DJ Klem
DJ Klem

If you ask me, DJ Klem is the most underrated producer in Nigeria. Now it’s not like no one knows who he is or anything like that, but really he should be known as one of the hottest producers right now along with Don Jazzy & Cobhams. Yes I said it. With hits, See Me – Mo Cheddah, Holla At Your Boy – WizKid under his belt, along with a grossly underrated AfroFunkyDiscoSoul album, DJ Klem has been a serious pillar of consistency since he got in the game. You know it’s about to be a good 4 mins when you hear “DJ Kleeeemmm”
Add his body of work with DJ Klem presents… and you almost feel like slapping someone that says DJ Klem is not top 5 in Nigeria. Period!
Notable work: No Be Money – Mo Cheddah, Shuku Shuku Bam – Phenom, Holla At Your Boy – Wizkid, See Me – Mo Cheddah, Hello – Iye, Farabale – DJ Klem ft. Yemi Alade & Efa, AfroFunkyDiscoSoul album.

ChopStix
ChopStix

ChopStix is a pretty quite and simple dude. Barely makes a lot of noise and hardly even jumps on records to say anything, but what this guy does on the beat is straight bananas. At first he was primarily doing mostly for his team GRIP, but now he’s expanded further dropping beats for some of the biggest hits in Nigeria right now. Ice Princ will definitely be thank ful he’s got ChopStix on deck, Aboki, VIP and the likes might not be the same songs.
Notable Work: Ice Prince – Aboki, Endia – 48, Ice Prince – Thank You (co-produced by MI), Kahli Abdu – Fear Fear Factor, Victoria Kimani – Oya, Reminisce – Government, Dee Money, Endia & Yung L – Dash Me Da Ting.

Sossick
Sossick

Sossick is another producer in my book that rivals, DJ Klem for that most underrated producer spot. The hits he’s been responsible for compared to the love he gets is a total mismatch. You can argue that Da Grin might not have had his biggest hit were it not for this dude right here. Delving into vocals sometimes, Sossick still stays solid on the beatz and is still a solid hit maker – Just ask May D.
Notable Work: Da Grin – Pon Pon Pon, May D – Use me ,Eva Alordiah – Mercy, Sossick – Kosofo, Eva Alordiah – I Done Did It, Sossick – Jor Oh

Kid Konnect
Kid Konnect

Kid Konnect is as super talented as they come in Nigeria. Sometimes he gets mistaken as a purely hip-hop producer but don’t get it twisted he can still rock beats for different genres (check out his Look At Me Now Fuji Mix or Rack Mix) , however I will say some of his best work has been for the hip-hop cats in Nigeria. MI, SDC, Kahli Abdu, Beazy has all called on Konnect’s Name for some of their masterpieces. Simply put, Kid Konnect is a parallel universe will be one of the best producers in Nigeria. Don’t believe me check out his collection of Fuji mixes.
Notable Work: MI – Four Horsemen, MI – phyuk You, Loose Kaynon – Aka Na Enu, Brymo – Chocolate, SDC – Clone Wars Vol 2 (some tracks), X.O Senavoe – Say It Again, Bandits EP (with Kahli Abdu)

Password
Password

Before the whole Gobe saga, there was not too much known about this singer/producer/song writer right here even though he had been paying his dues quietly under the radar. He’s responsible for a lot of work on Darey’s Undareyted album, and one of the biggest hits of the past decade, Champion by General Pype. Add to his list work for himself, Davido, HarrySong, Safarie and a host of others.
Password still stays under the radar a bit but now under HKN, one has to expect his time to shine will come soon. Either as a producer or an artists.
Notable Work: General Pype – Born Champion, Darey – Style Na Style Remix, Password – Obiaghelli, Gobe (original & Davido’s version co-produced with Shizzi)

Jay Stuntz
Jay Stunt

One producer that really should be an icon by now is Jay Stunt. Responsible for some of the biggest highlife hits on the past years Jay Stunt is grossly underrated as a hit maker. One reason might be that he stayed under the radar when some of his biggest hits were hitting the airwaves.
You know you’ve jumped up and down to some of his hottest beats without even knowing he was the oga behind the tune. Doubt me? Check out his notable work below.
Notable Work: Flavour – Oyi, Flavour – Baby Oku, Timaya – Another Man Chop, Flavour – Adamma, Jay-Stunt – Body Body, A significant number of Flavour’s Uplifted album.

TinTin
Tin-Tin

To be honest with myself, I didn’t realize how many of some of my favorite tunes were produced by Tin-Tin until I started putting together his list of songs. Dude is pure fire, and it’s not just a matter of whether his songs blew everything out of the water, but the creative sounds he uses. Simply exquisite (if I can use that word to describe a beat).
Tin-Tin is another underrated produced looking at the work he’s done in the industry and considering you get the feeling he’s barely scratched the surface of his talents. Just think what what we’ll be seeing in a few years from him.
Notable Work: Slim T -Lagosians, Dammy Krane – Lobatan, Eva Alordiah – Your Fada, Down Low, Kel – Give It To Me, Pope – Enjoy

Gospel
Gospel

Also known as Gospel On D Beatz, the beats coming from the kid is mad crazy. More especially when you look back at some songs he did that you didn’t know. I was personally a believer after listening to Davido’s All Of You and then Burna Boy’s Celebrate.I was completely sold after that.
Over the past couple of years he’s slowly been building his catalog, and looking back on it, it’s a super impressive body of work. His demand will only get greater at we dive into 2014. Just watch.
Gospel On Da Beatz and we badder than…
Notable work: Tekno – Holiday, Burna Boy – Celebrate, Tiwa Savage – Ileke, Tekno – Onyenekwu, Davido – All Of You

Shizzi
Shizzi

Shizzi is primarily associated with Davido’s hits but not to get it confused he’s much more than his work with Davido (Ask WizKid). However to fully appreciate the package Shizzi is bringing you gotta also look at his work in OBO. Simply great work.
Shizzi is creating a name for himself, and sooner than later a lot of peeps will really appreciate what he’s bringing to the game. Club banging hits with no mercy at all.
Notable work: Davido – Dami Duro (co-produced), Davido – Dollar In The Bank, WizKid – Love My Baby, Davido- Gobe (with password), Shank – BFF, Harrysong – Taiye Kehinde

WizBoyy
WizBoyy

It’s easy to look at WizBoyy as an artist and forget about his production skills, but that’ll be a huge mistake. For any song you hear his voice, you bet you he might have done some production on it. It’s getting to a point now that any new age highlife beat I hear now, I suspect WizBoyy.
For some reason though, I get the feeling WizBoyy doesn’t get the credit he deserves as a producer. He’s marvelous on the beat, and his work is what I can best describe as happy music. You hear the beat and just smile and want to dance and give thanks go God. That is what WizBoyy brings to the plate – Magic to your ears.
Notable work: WizBoyy – Fotojenik, Ice Prince – By This Time, WizBoyy – Infinity, Chidinma – Jollie, Flavour – I Dont Care, Slim Brown – Akara Don Done, Chykay – Ohemaa

italo: That means the Catholic Church is not lying when they say you are baptised. Living Faith is the one lying that you are not baptized. Right?
catholic is the one lying..cos of the record of baptism in the bible are by immersion

Syncan: “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit".John3:5.

So Clear! So Clear! Why are you so obstinate? And bishopjoe, I hope a headway has been made.
yeah...i think italo need to see this too because of his questions
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Pentecostals Reject Catholic Baptism by bishopjoe02(op): 11:45am On Jul 08, 2013
Syncan: Dearest, I am at a loss where to start in this your post, but I will try.

1.Please support that your definition of baptism with scripture. I believe in this: “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit".John3:5. Do take note of Nicodemus opening statement in verse 2.

2.Prove to me from those passages of "household baptism" that each member of the household apart from the head who invited the preacher was asked the question and they said "yes I do" according to you.

3."And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee".Lk5:18-20.

Please look at this passage and tell me the input of the said man in having his sin forgiven.

4.You said "In the case of seen an instance were a whole house was baptised, d bible neva specified d age bracket of such persons, it could b everybody n dat home is already grow up, jst like my family nw". And i say bravo, it also means it could include infants just like my own family now. Why then do you exclude those the scripture never excluded in the first place?

5.You ask if John the baptist or Jesus Baptized a child? My answer is: Jesus did not baptize anyone and the scripture did not say John refused to baptize children.

6.Please do not twist the word of Christ just to drive home your point. Jesus never said they "should not stop the children from hearing the word of God" as you claimed, He said " let the children come to me and do not stop them". Were the children old enough to understand him? Verse 15 tells you the answer by what Jesus did next:"He laid his hands on them, and departed". (He did not start teaching them the word of God for they were not old enough to understand).

7.You asked if they will go to hell should they die before baptism? I answer: I am not God to decide where they go to. All I know is that Christ died for Children as well, and Christ placed the condition of gaining this merit on being born "of the water and spirit". That said, I still believe in line with the church, that God is capable of and "will save infants when we have not been able to do for them what we would have wished to do, namely, to baptize them into the faith and life of the Church".

1.Please support that your definition of baptism with scripture.

Romans 10:10 (For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.)

2.Prove to me from those passages of "household baptism" that each member of the household apart from the head who invited the preacher was asked the question and they said "yes I do" according to you.

all the people baptized were instructed on what to do before they were actually baptised.

Acts 10:34-43

New International Version (NIV)

34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right. 36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. 37 You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

39 “We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a cross, 40 but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen. 41 He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. 43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”

Acts 16:14

New International Version (NIV)

14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message.

And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee".Lk5:18-20.

dude this is not baptism, this is healing, there is a big different..what was the Jews response after that act, and what did Jesus said to them?

4.You said "In the case of seen an instance were a whole house was baptised, d bible neva specified d age bracket of such persons, it could b everybody n dat home is already grow up, jst like my family nw". And i say bravo, it also means it could include infants just like my own family now. Why then do you exclude those the scripture never excluded in the first place?

the bible neither include children either

5.You ask if John the baptist or Jesus Baptized a child? My answer is: Jesus did not baptize anyone and the scripture did not say John refused to baptize children.

but there was records of John baptist baptism, why were children not include..since is the catholic that compiled the bible and they support infant baptism, dont u think if it was there in the scripture that they will included it by all means.

(He did not start teaching them the word of God for they were not old enough to understand).

see for urself

The Little Children and Jesus

15 People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

TravelFirst Photographs From Inside Wrecked San Francisco Plane As Black Box Reveals by bishopjoe02(op): 10:24am On Jul 08, 2013
The first images from inside the stricken Asiana Airlines Flight 214 that crashed at San Francisco's airport on Saturday were released today as it emerged the pilot was on his maiden training flight and had only 43 hours experience at the controls of a Boeing 777.

The chilling photographs - published by the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board - show seats slammed out of their rivets and oxygen masks dangling from the overhead compartments, giving some indication of the terror that the 307 passengers and crew experienced as the plane's botched landing killed two and injured 181 people.

It comes as the flight recorder or black box from the doomed aircraft revealed that the craft was 'significantly below' its intended speed and its crew tried to abort the landing less than two seconds before it hit a seawall, severing the tail section of the plane and almost flipping onto one side.

'He was training,' a spokeswoman for Asiana Airlines, Lee Hyomin, told Reuters of pilot Lee Kang-Kook.

'Even a veteran gets training,' the airlines spokeswoman said. 'He has a lot of experience and previously had flown to San Francisco on different planes, including the B747 ... and was assisted by another pilot who has more experience with the 777.'
His co-pilot, Lee Jeong-Min had 3,200 hours of flying experience aboard a 777 and was in the cockpit with Kang-Kook when the disaster struck.

The black box aboard the Boeing 777 jetliner set out three crucial moments that show the plane was approaching the runway too slowly and that the pilots were trying to correct the problem.

Information collected from the plane's cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder indicated that there were no signs of trouble until seven seconds before impact, when the crew tried to accelerate, NTSB Chairwoman Deborah Hersman said at a news conference at the airport.

National Transportation Safety Board officials said today that the jetliner, which was carrying 291 passengers, was flying 'significantly' slower than the 137 knots that is ideal for jetliners preparing to land in San Francisco.

But in the aftermath of the deadly crash it has been revealed that the tower received one solitary message from the cockpit that said, 'Hello, hello. I have trouble.'

'214 heavy, emergency vehicles are responding. Emergency vehicles are responding,' responded the tower according to NBC News.
'Hello,
hello. I have trouble'

- Audio from cockpit of Flight 214 reveals terrifying moments after deadly crash

'Okay, I cannot...' the pilot starts to say, before his voice becomes unintelligible.

It comes as dramatic amateur video footage that shows the terrifying moment that Asiana Airlines Flight 214 crash-landed onto the runway at San Francisco airport emerged.

The crash killed two teenage Chinese students and injured more than 180 people, at least two dozen of them seriously, local officials said.

Christianity EtcSelling Of Anionting Water In Church by bishopjoe02(op): 9:52am On Jul 07, 2013
It amaze me when i see some church selling anionting water, the price goes from 5000 to 60000 depending on the number of litre you want. Is the gift of God now for sell, is it the aution behind the anionting or the water they are selling. I remember paul rebuking a man in the bible who offer he money for his anionting. Is this act scriptural?

cos d water is nt d baptism, bt my decisn and response i made to d prayers being said. D water is a ritual shwing hw i have b wash of my sins
Just d way Abraham sacrified Isaac wth his decisn bt wthout physically carrying out d act

Syncan: Jesus said " let the children come to me and do not stop them" Matt 19:14. "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory..." also includes children. In Acts 16:15, 31-33, also 1cor1:16, you read accounts of someone being baptised with his entire household or family as the case may be. There is no where it was commanded not to baptise infants.
baptism is a conscious effort by some1 to accept christ, it is a decisn dat cn nt b made 4 anybody, if God wantd some1 to make such decisn 4 us, He would have taken away our conscience so dat wil cn serve He wthout disobedience, d washing of the head or deeping u nside d river is nt d baptism, bt ur decisn and d 'yes i do' u normally respond to d prayer being said on dat day, try and read dat baptism prayer again (those ones u normal say yes i do n response) d water is jst a normal ritual dat reflect wat have happen n d spirit base on ur decisn, these decisn cnt b made 4 anybody. If i shld follow ur view, dat mean any child dat die b4 he get to d age of baptism is going to hell, im sure d baptism wil b 4 6months old baby and above.
In the case of seen an instance were a whole house was baptised, d bible neva specified d age bracket of such persns, it could b evrybody n dat home is already grow up, jst like my family nw.
Do u read n d bible were it recorded dat John d baptist or Jesus, baptise any child, al d pple baptise were grow-up, tax collector, soldiers etc, werent there child there doing those baptism hour n bible, y was they nt mentn.
Jesus said, u shld nt stop d children frm hearing d world of God, nt baptism.

ilugunboy: Did mine yesterday...very impressive...had an appointment for my driver's license..so decided to do something worthwhile before the appointment time.

Unlike most typical government institutions...you don't need to know anyone in the system...you don't need to bribe anybody either. Simple straight forward process that shouldn't last more than 20 minutes on average if the pre-enrollment data is ok.

The only snag was my finger prints could not be captured by the NIMC finger print device with all my effort....but the CHAMS did.

Overall..I was very impressed. Hopefully the system will maintain this standard.

If you wish to do it without pre enrollment...Just go there with your necessary documents...someone will assist with the filling of the form.

I did mine in the NIMC office directly facing the Ikeja Shopping Mall (Shoprite) on Awolowo way in Alausa Ikeja...

Yes the whole chapter is 4 evry xtian. Im jst telling u d reasn y d chapter was written which was stress frm verse 26. There is a diff btw speaking n tongues (church edificatn) nd praying n tongues (self edificatn) d praying n tongues was only mentn n verse 14-15. Cn u c dat prophecy is 4 unbeliever, y prayering n tongues is 4 believer. Cn u pls read verse 39 again. So i have neva c a priest praying n tongues, i have c dem heal nd do oda tinx bt nt tongues, r u saying d whole of catholic no 1 possess dat gift

The catholic church is not a mad house decribed by st Paul in 1 coe 14:23
You really expected to see a catholic priest blabbing during mass?
i guess u dont have complete undastnd abt 1corinthian 14, paul wrote that verse because the corinth church was abusing the gift, they were so filld wth d spirit dat the dont give room for each oda to talk, its was like our d members of a church prophecying and speaking n tongues (for church edificatn) at d same time. Bt d catholic church setting is nt let dat, evrytin is organise, we have a priest who say d prayer (n meeting) or lead d mass and stil yet no tongues speaking. Is the gifts of tongues even necessary for salvation? Must every xtian ave such gifts?
let take it one at a time, i have to 3 states n Nigeria, i have visitd most catholic church n dat state, bt neva have i c a priest speaking n tongues, pls do ur parish priest speak n tongues, pls dont lie
