italo: Exactly what I am saying. You are a customer of Oyedepo and his shop, I am a follower of Christ and his Church. Here is a short history of the Bible. 1. Old Testament The Old Testament was written by Moses, David and Solomon, prophets, seers and kings. There was no "church" of any kind to claim responsibility for it. God inspired individuals to bring God's word to the people. The Old Testament is the recorded revelation of God up until about 400 BC. 2. The Inter-Testamental Period The time between about 400 BC and about 5 BC is usually called the Years of Prophetic Silence. This is because God created a process that lasted 400 years to create a world climate ready for the coming of the promised Messiah. There was no "church" at this time, either. But there was the new creation of the "synagogue," since the Jewish people needed to worship God and did not have the Temple when they were in exile. When many came back 400-500 BC, they already had functional synagogues; and even though the Temple was being rebuilt by those returning from exile, the synagogue idea remained and more were built. This was the beginning of the "congregation" or "church" as we have it today. But there was no Scripture being written during this period. That was yet to come after one came "in the spirit and power of Elias" (Luke 1:17). 3. The Time of Christ It is likely that Matthew (Levi) the tax collector and later disciple of Jesus took notes of what happened during Jesus' ministry. However, it is also true that were God in the flesh living among you, His words would burn into your soul. I am sure, as the apostles clearly recollected as they wrote the New Testament (2 Peter 1:16-21; 1 John 1:1-3; 4:14), they could not escape the image and words of Jesus Christ, God the Son and Son of God, when He spoke into their hearts (Luke 9:44; 24:32). The Church Age When the apostles wrote their letters, the congregations received them. They read them. They spread them. They copied them for other brethren in Christ Jesus. And they recognized their authority in the Christian's life. So the Scriptures were produced by men of God, not by "the church." But they were produced FOR the church. The last book of the Bible was Revelation, written about 96 AD, just before the apostle John died around 100 AD. After the apostles died, the churches continued to collect the letters they did not have, to read them and understand the authority under God by which they wrote.he flesh living among you, His words would burn into your soul. |

A Dutch journalist has been raped by several men in Cairo's Tahrir Square as millions of protestors took to the streets to demand President Mohammed Morsi to step down. The news of the attack came as the Egyptian army issued a 48-hour deadline for the deadly clashes to be resolved - so far eight people have been killed and hundreds injured. The woman was allegedly raped 'by men who dub themselves revolutionists,' according to Egypt 25’s reporter Dina Zakaria. The horrifying rape is reminiscent of the violence at Tahrir Square in 2011 when CBS foreign correspondent Lara Logan was beaten and sexually assaulted by a 200-strong mob. According to Ynetnews, the state hospital issued a statement saying the women was admitted after being raped by five men several days ago. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352202-1A9C28BB000005DC-906_634x420.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352202-1A9C28BB000005DC-906_634x420.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352202-1A9BF523000005DC-388_634x403.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352202-1A9BDAF7000005DC-948_634x386.jpg The website reported the journalist underwent surgery and has been released. This morning women's activists said at least 43 females, including a foreign journalist, suffered organised sexual assaults by gangs of men in recent days. Egypt's military has given its president and his opponents a 48 hour 'last chance' to reach an agreement to 'meet the people's demands' before it intervenes in the dispute. Hundreds of thousands of protesters massed for a second day today calling on President Mohammed Morsi to step down. Egypt's military described the mass protests yesterday that brought out millions demanding Morsi's removal as 'glorious', and said protesters expressed their opinion 'in peaceful and civilized manner,' and that 'it is necessary that the people get a reply ... to their calls. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352202-1A99E7B5000005DC-731_634x423.jpg The military underlined it will 'not be a party in politics or rule.' But it said it has a responsibility to act because Egypt's national security is facing a 'grave danger,' according to a statement read out on state television. 'The Armed Forces repeat its call for the people's demands to be met and give everyone 48 hours as a last chance to shoulder the burden of a historic moment for a nation that will not forgive or tolerate any party that is lax in shouldering its responsibility,' it said. It did not directly define 'the people's demands,' but said if they are not realized, the military is obliged to 'announce a road-map for the future and the steps for overseeing its implementation, with participation of all patriotic and sincere parties and movements' It is the second ultimatum to be given to Mr Morsi and the opposition to reach an agreement. Last Sunday, defence minister Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi gave the two sides a week to reach an agreement. The organizers of yesteday's protests also gave Mr Morsi a Tuesday 5pm deadline to step down or face an escalation of the campaign to force him out, including civil disobedience. Hours earlier protesters stormed the headquarters of Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352202-1A99E6D8000005DC-873_634x423.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352202-1A97B9D1000005DC-462_634x462.jpg Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2352202/Anti-Morsi-protests-Tourists-warned-travelling-Egypt-seven-people-killed.html#ixzz2XsfJBrez Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook |
italo: The Catholic Church.Paul have followers, thousands of them, which can be call members why he is the pastor, just the way David Oyedepo have members and he is the pastor. that is why i told you not to call the biblical christian church...its a disciple and follower thing then..if u relate it to today church, we can call Davide Oyedepo a leader why the members are the followers. David Oyedepo get his clarification fromm the bible and the holy spirit..."i will send u the comforter which will teach u all teaches" were is it in the bible that catholic church is the first church. |
At just 16 months old (a year and six months), this baby is unlikely to have been walking for long, let alone mastered any other physical activities. But this incredible footage shows the tiny toddler swimming unaided and looking completely comfortable in the water. The fearless baby swims face down, turning on her back to rest when she needs to breathe. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352477-1A9A8A25000005DC-718_634x307.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352477-1A9A89BC000005DC-30_634x330.jpg The infant even jumps in, without arm bands, and swims to the far side of the pool unaided, without even taking a breather. The remarkable feat has received much criticism from viewers on youtube.com. In particular people are concerned the baby is being forced to swim when she is tired and doesn't want to. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352477-1A9A894C000005DC-609_634x349.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352477-1A9A88E3000005DC-951_634x317.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352477-1A9A8AB9000005DC-571_634x314.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352477-1A9A8B87000005DC-503_634x311.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/01/article-2352477-1A9A8B90000005DC-289_634x336.jpg Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2352477/Incredible-video-shows-baby-swimming-width-pool-breath.html#ixzz2XsVb5JjF Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook |
italo: When was it founded?it was founded by Bishop David Oyedepo in 1981. Apostle Paul wrote more than half of the new testament of the bible, and this said apostle was not a direct disciple of Jesus, but a later convert after the death of Christ...just the way God instruct Paul to continue with His work, the same way HE is raising men to preach the gospel today...if the work of God was left for the 12 disciple alone, i doubt if the gospel will spread beyond Jerusalem.. Just as Catholic church only can not spread the gospel to the whole world. And what is the name of this first church founded by Jesus |
italo: You havent even tried to describe the shop in which you worship.i worship in a church not a shop...WINNER CHAPEL AKA LIVING FAITH CHURCH https://domi.org.ng/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/lfcww.jpg |

italo: The same Bible that Catholics compiled. Bible also is not written in the Bible.Jesus did not actually found any church, he raised a family. And doing the persecutn of d church then, most of the pple move to diff part of d world to preach, which cn b likely to the establishment of diff church n our time, bt wth diff motive. The bible say 'the end wil nt come until the word of God is being preach to the end of the world' catholic alone can't achieve dis, neither wth it b achieve wth d present disunity n our church. |
italo: Are you against my person or are you against my argument?Which of d church do u worship? |
italo: Every faker tries to run down the original. Try buying a fake designer shirt and the seller will make it look as if there is nothing special about the original. He may even say bad things about the original because thats the only way he can get customers to appreciate his fake. But the original seller will not even see the fake as something worthy of discussion. That is what is happening between Catholic Church and other Christian shops.dude the world is made of billions of pple Catholic alone cn nt spread d Gospel to the end of the world. Pls watch ur utterances cos he dat sin against d holy spirit wil not b forgiven. It is nt written in the bible dat d first church was catholic. |
Dude, i dont thnk anybody is faking anytin, i jst want to knw d reason 4 the cold conflict btw the two parties |
Does it matter were the baptism is done, al dat matter here is d faith of d person. Most pentecostal churches n big city have built a semi swimming pool n their premieses were baptism is done, thereby nt following the biblical style of taking members to the river 4 d act. To me some1 who deep his member nto a pool and the oda dat wash her members head doing baptism r the same. |
Why are most christian after being converted from catholic into any of the pentecostal church are required to be baptise again. What is the big different between baptism by immersion and that of the catholic. |

These unusual looking planes are the creations of amateur engineers in Africa who have made their own jets - often just using scarp metal, a book guide and a lot of improvisation. Despite their lack of material, training and money, these determined aviation-enthusiasts have managed to build their own machines. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/06/25/article-2348222-1A80292F000005DC-870_634x423.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/06/25/article-2348222-1A80290C000005DC-78_634x422.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/06/25/article-2348222-1A80294A000005DC-446_634x468.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/06/25/article-2348222-1A80295E000005DC-25_634x423.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/06/25/article-2348222-1A802996000005DC-131_634x423.jpg Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2348222/Economy-class-The-remarkable-ramshackle-aircraft-Africas-DIY-aviators.html#ixzz2XJs7UPYX

• Illusionist Steven Frayne travelled across Westminster Bridge with one had placed on top of 15ft bus • Stunned fans look on from inside the bus, taking pictures of the floating magician • Entertainer to the stars worked on the stunt in partnership with Pepsi Max • Caused a stir in 2011 when he 'walked' across the River Thames in publicity stunt He has stunned audiences with jaw-dropping stunts that defy logic and can make the most skeptical cynic believe in magic. But in an daring new act, Bradford-born Illusionist Dynamo today took his impressive skills to even greater heights. The 30-year-old entertainer took in London's sights by levitating beside the roof of a 15ft double-decker bus. Smiling for the cameras, Dynamo, whose real name is Steven Frayne, travelled alongside the two-storey bus with the palm of his hand placed on the roof. He hung in mid-air with his other arm outstretched as he crossed Westminister Bridge. A police escort cleared the way for Frayne's daring feat, ensuring there was no traffic around the bus. People on the bus took pictures of the 'you have to see it to believe it' moment. The trickster's levitating act, in partnership with Pepsi MAX had onlookers asking 'Where are the wires?' He gained notoriety when he 'walked' across the river Thames in 2011 to promote a new series of his show Magician Impossible. Frayne has built his name on the celebrity circuit, astounding famous names with his tricks. His previous tricks have included apparently walked across the River Thames, in front of the Houses of Parliament, making Little Britain star Matt Lucas levitate before a live audience at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, and turning signed lottery tickets into cash in front of Robbie Williams and Davina McCall. Ikenna351: In other words, you are saying "The most fuel efficient cars in Nigeria" ? In that case, you could be right, since we dont drive diesel cars here. But if you are saying Hybrid cars are the most economical cars in Nigeria (both fueling and repair cost), then you may have to try harder to convince me. All the money the car is saving for you in fueling her, one replacement of battery will consume the whole money saved, if not more. Are you aware that one can get a clean tokunbo car at 700k+, which the hybrid battery cost? It may be cheaper to fuel, but expensive to maintain.thanks dude, n d lng run it seems my thread is stil valid |
Ikenna351: Op,buddy i start by giving the definition of hybrid cars, Hybrid vehicles are called hybrids because they use both a small internal combustion engine (ICE) and an electric motor to obtain maximum power and fuel economy with minimum emissions. How they do this varies from one model to another, with varying success. What all hybrids have in common is the ability to generate electric current, store it in a large battery, and use that current to help drive the car. Hybrids can also conserve energy by shutting down the ICE when the vehicle is in Park, idling at a light, or stopped in traffic, or when the electric motor’s energy is sufficient to drive the vehicle without assistance from the ICE. the above list cars in my thread are not rare cars found only in the USA only, these are everyday cars found mostly in Nigeria, just try and take a look at the list again. did u say ur 406 V6 average 40 mpg, how is that possible, i thot all V6 are fuel sucker. "What about Peugeot 508 (diesel) that average 74 mpg on highway?" diesel engines are better on the highway and hybrids are better in city, so because of the traffic jam in most city in Nigeria, hybrid cars are still the most recommendable because of their fuel economical ability. the only issue with hybrid cars is the battery problem, apart from that all other parts are just like the normal car..but diesel cars have high maintenance cost..so every penny you save in diesel you end up spending it in the mechanic workshop.

sultaan: Where is the Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt on your list?Nissan leaf and chevy volt r special cars that use both electric and fuel, also their prices are considerable high. I only concentrated on cars that can be use and maintain in Nigeria. |
|
xerotop: Of what use is the hybrid when normal cars e.g honda civic can do 27/36?car manufacturals r nt magicians, frm my thread u cn c there is a significiant diff btw d hybrid nd d normal cars. Hybrid part r nw available n nigeria, cos most person r driving them. If u convert the numba of hours pple spend on lagos traffic to money, u undastand y hybrid cars shld b make mandatory 4 evry1 living n lagos. |
