It is okay to rubbish government through intellectual debates and arguments, but most of the posts and threads in the politics section of Nairaland for the past few months have really been an embarassment. There are reasonable arguments, but there also seems to be a much larger number of posts and threads driven by just plain and simple bigotry. 'Jonathan talks funny, his wife talks funny', as if that was ever a criteria used to judge a non performing Yar Adua and his wife who weren't exactly paragons of eloquence when they were in power. Have people even heard Buhari speak? There are arguments to be heard drowned in a sea of pettiness I really didn't think possible for this section (en masse and including some much touted "intelligent posters".

Some time I read some thread I wll shout oh my God why all this. Some just refused to grow and talk sensibly it is so pathetic. I guess it will very good to educate a few Nairalanders about reading through a thread before making a post or uttering any statement, it will be good to cultivate the act of reading a thread well understand it and not just seen a thread headline and start a bombshell.

In African context saying IBB is like a father for God sake this is just nothing a big deal, its a kind of reference for an elderly person. I think there is a kind of misunderstand with both parties and I sense a little contracdition as per Olaifa is PDP or AP. I as a professional I think the issue of Olaifa is a PDP or AP should not come to the issue in the first place, everybody has the right to belong to any party all that matters is do the work you are employ to do and beign paid for.

If truely there was this agreement as I read in the main thread above between both parties I guess they should revisit it again and do the right thing and let the state move on. Fashola is a good man he is really doing well as a governor. And I think the doctors should please be reasonable in thier quest for their right or the agreement because they need to understand putting too much presure on goverment will have a serious adverse effect on the state cover and beside the human life that are on line.
