siaco: Typical zombie stand on forgery matters. Can you prove or have any court of competent jurisdiction proved that those politicians are corrupt. Kemi ought to be prevented from travelling out for now except on health ground, but no, this govt has it that forgery is not corruption. Are we surprised? When they pretended Buhari graduated from war college in Virginia with a Master's degree that was not operating when he went, we just let it go. When he had no WAEC they said NEPA bill go do well... |
TV/Movies › Re: My Personal Review Of Black Panther Movie by Bitterleafsoup: 3:15am On Sep 17, 2018 |
BlackPantherCri: I know I'm a bit stale but I really feel compelled to post this and see if there is anyone out there that shares my opinion.
There were so many encomiums around the black panther movie, I did not get a chance to see it until it came out on Netflix a few days ago.
...and I was thoroughly disturbed. the first time, I finally watched #BlackPanther and I was very disappointed! The entire plot was entertaining but there was a deep underlying message... WITCHCRAFT!
Wakanda technology...Terrestial powers Witchcraft
Dora Milaje (Iya Aje)... Witches...why are women protectors of wakanda? Women are mostly witches na
Wakanda nation... Spiritual realm of the dark continent Africa, shielded from the rest of the world and seen as third world country made up of farmers.
War dogs... village people with monitoring spirit who will not let someone be great
Zuri... Ifa priest
Erik Killmonger... Disgruntled African Americans who cannot move on from being sold from Africa into slavery and believe Africa needs a revolution
The various tribes are symbolic of various African Traditional religions United by witchcraft... Or how else can you explain someone controlling a car in South Korea while sitting in a shrine in Africa?
They should just jejeje come out plain and depict us as witches practicing black magic... I couldn't wrap my head around any technology that will make someone to be in Africa and be controlling car in South Korea... Their consistent use of beads (cowries in African Traditional Religion), why is there AJE (witch) in Dora Milaje? They went as far as using Sambisa forest in Nigeria and Boko Haram which are real life situations.
They used jazz to heal the white man, called it technology... Which bullet wound heals overnight? It even seemed the movie crew spent a good amount of time watching Nollywood Yoruba movies, the one they were seeing Ancestors upanddan like Odunlade Adekola and Adebayo Salami. Esp the part they asked M' TChalla to come with them to the other side,of the he said, No, he is going back. That was where I gave up. The herb they used for crowing Kings depict the use of herbs and spices for jazz.
Ulyesses Klaue that came to steal Vibranium - white man that came to steal african artifacts in the previous centuries. So they they showed Benin mask and Benin technology... They gave us the full hint that Benin Edo State is Wakanda when Erik went to London to steal the Vibranium axe from the West African Exhibit in the Museum. The exhibitor explicitly said the artifact also came from Benin. Haba! Being an Edo girl with vast exposure to the magnanimity of Edo jazz, I was only pained by the entire movie.
By the way, the Jabari tribe that went to live in the Mountains and refused to join Wakanda... Biafra people. I rest my case.
My critic is open to criticism the guy is really igbo |

Dr Ifeanyi Ubah is a model of originality, and chose instead to bless a beauty heart with the gift. J2381: yea I know what Jerry Rawlings did way back in Ghana. That however was possible because it was a military era. Now however is a very different case entirely. Our military are overfed and too inept to do anything. Beside, even if they did, it'll most likely be termed 'tribal coup' by some individuals. Hope you remember what happened in 1967.
My dear, war isn't something any sane mind should advocate for. It's not pretty and the effects is long lasting. No way advocating for war, the point is all the offices have to be purgued. The system it self is broken and has to be rebuilt with new parts not old worn out non-parts that don't work. War is never the answer, but most cous (especially silent ones have no war involved, just removals. GEJ was coup by USA in silence.... |

jayson87: Thanks for bringing up my old dirt, I said one of the worst Lagos has produced, that doesn't make Fashola any better than him by my own saying and deduction. I have also never slammed Ambode has one of the lousiest governor, in some of my earlier post, i have often times without count praised Ambode to high heavens and even posted wasting my vote on Agbage back in 2015 because i felt Ambode's enigmatic guise of not being able to express himself will make him a bad Governor. So by my own comparison terms, since 1999 Ambode has been the best, but if we compare him to past governors as Lateef Jakande and Mobolaji Johnson then he is a bad governor. In summary Ambode has been a better performer than Tinubu and Fashola combined. Let me reiterate as i have said a thousand times on this platform, I criticize Ambode's performance whenever i quantify his achievements to the state's IGR, but you and I both known the landlord sits on the state's IGR , under declares it and take a big chunk into his pocket I wont come at you with insults but you need to take a course on logic and deductions. It will help your sense of judgement Gbamest!!! |

deomelo: Continuity means continuing what your predecessors left behind, it means not abandoning working and tested programs, policies, programs and projects you're supposed to continue, but the opposite is the case with Ambode and Lagosians are paying for his incompetence, lack of foresight and gross pettiness.
Tinubu created LAWMA and Fashola built on it with billions of naira and massive waste management infrastructures all over the sate with many local waste management operators participating and gainfully employed, but Ambode disbanded LAWMA in favor of foreign operators.
Sadly, the foreign operators are equally incompetent and can't do the job, hence trash and garbage pilling up all over the state.
Projects like Ilubirin housing estate started by his predecessor was not only abandoned, it was canceled and we haven't seen any housing estate commissioned by Ambode.
4th mainland bridge he budgeted money for is totally dead.
It's a misguided thing to say that they are focusing on different areas.
Are you saying they have enough waterworks, schools, hospitals, clinics, maternity centers, power plants and so on in Lagos state and all they need now are bus stops and laybys?
You are not making any sense or maybe you just don't know the meaning of continuity. So many of those projects commissioned were private entities not government. |
