Why would you even put Itsekiri and Ilaje in the same sentence. The former is a group of people of mixed ancestry/origins, despite speaking a language quite similar to Yoruba (though technically classified as a different language.)

The latter are not...

Listen, I know it is cute again to make it seem as though Yoruba folk and Yoruba-inclined folk who have oil are in fact not Yoruba.

After all, that is something that seems to be a big issue with your people.

But it isn't with mine.

Anyway, mouth alone on the internet, the drug-addled dreams of afam4eva certainly aren't likely to have any impact..
Ishekiris are Yorubas!

History reveals that in several waves of migration before the 15th Century, and some a little later, groups from Igala in Nupe country came in through the creeks; Yoruba from ljebu-Ode, Akure and Owo found their way into parts of the Kingdom and a group from Aboh also came in. Some along the coast came in through Gulani/Amatu.

I hope you savagely Nigerians won't bomb NL. You may bomb all the nooks and crannies of your useless, filthy, and rubbish country - but leave NL and the oil for us.

I don't know how 120million gorillas can be made to live in a hellhole like that. Ugly people, inside and out.

Southernnigeria: Southern Nigeria stretches from the Benin border in the west to the Cameroon border in the east. It is bordered by Northern Nigeria in the north and the Atlantic ocean in the south. It's most populous city is Lagos which is located in the South-West of the region. The Republic of Southern Nigeria has occasionally being proposed to help separate and protect the moderate Muslim, Christian and Animist south from the more radical north of Nigeria. The people of this region embrace education and international laws which include respect for basic human rights. This region was originally a wealthy separate region before the British amalgamation with the north in 1914. This was done to help finance the poorer north. The Republic is yet to become official due to distrust and uncertainty between the major tribes within this region. This distrust comes from years of British military tactics which sought to divide then conquer. This division technique has remained in the hearts of the older generation who still see other tribes within their region as dishonest and insincere despite the absence of any factual or hard evidence of mistrust or betrayal. Specialists identify that the ability of the more moderate and educated south to break away may lead to initial violence and uncertainty before becoming an influential nation in the region. It is often thought that the Northern part of the country wishes to control the oil rich Niger-Delta and hence is willing to do whatever it takes to maintain the amalgamation of 1914. Contested areas include Abuja, Kwara and various parts of the troubled Plateau State.

Ilaje44: Ishekiri are Ishekiri
Ilaje are Ilaje
Ijebu are Ijebu
Though they do possess some similarity of tongue. I would understand some Ijebu and some Ishekiri. Ijebu is however more mutually intelligible to me than Ishekiri.
Interesting stuff! But can we classify Ishekiris as Yorubas?

alj harem: Then if you are yoruba, you learn to respect others as others have respected you. We do not insult others just for the sake of it. You should be able to know an Igboman from an Ijawman.

An igboman spit fire at anything yoruba, whether split, oil, etc he just want the downfall of the yoruba

An ijawman on the other hand is more reasonable and tries to make bonds rather than break it.

Go check Ijaw history, I have a lot as my friend from Opobo to balysea. I know them and their mentality.

They are live and let live people. It is the Nigerian government that made them the way they are today. They are no trouble makers unless of course during land expansionism
Hmmmmm... It's probably the Ibo blood in Asari Dokubo, that's making him act the way he acts, huh? shocked

Respect to the lousy Ijaws?? Hahahahahahahahahaha... Ijaws don't respect nobody apart from their fishes...

The question is do they have a culture - other than paddle canoe and get drunk?? I may add militancy to their culture. cheesy

Nigerian American stalking Ryan Seacrest

This story is only getting more bizarre as time goes on. The first stalkerish run in occurred when Uzomah was arrested after he allegedly tried to get into a car with Seacrest as he left an event at Children’s Hospital of Orange County. When security stepped in, a fight broke out. One of Seacrest’s security people was nearly choked out before they were able to subdue Uzomah.

The man was taken in for “suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon or force likely to cause great bodily injury.” Officers found a switchblade on him at the time of his arrest.

In that instance, Seacrest was able to drive away before Uzomah got to him. He eventually pleaded guilty to three misdemeanors, and was put on probation and forbidden to come near the TV / radio personality.

So much for following the terms of your probation! TMZ now reports that the same man may have entered the E! building in LA today looking for Ryan. Luckily security knew about the man and alerted authorities. Now we’re learning that the man has in fact been arrested by LAPD, and was taken away in the back of a police car (see video below).

It doesn’t sound like probation is going to cut it for this guy. For whatever reason, he seems hell-bent on getting to his victim. I’d say he needs a psych-evaluation too, eh?

What do you think, is Chidi Uzomah Ryan Seacrest’s biggest fan or a dangerous stalker? Give us your thoughts below.

Also, check out photos and video related to the incident below.

Shake ya ikebe to this.

All these new school Nigerian music are boring, give me Kwam1, Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti etc. over these pretenders calling themselves artists in Nigeria. Ikebe shaking is African, you can't get more African than that.
