He has more than Two-thirds majority in the national assembly and more than Two-thirds of the states in his back pocket. Nothing is impossible at this point. All cards are on the table.
There's no President even in the future that can achieve third term in Nigeria. That back pocket will not work in this instance. The table does not have legs.

Tinubu has everything he needs for smooth sailing in 2027. No one should be deceived, he will win with a landslide. Let's just hope that he doesn't extend his tenure beyond 2031.
There are things that are absolutely impossible when it comes to national politics and that's a Nigerian President wanting to make third term.....

There is a luck not to be tried.

So what do you call the killings of Christians in the North all through the Middle belt region and sacking of villages by Muslim bandits who have continuously threatended localities where farm crops are been cultivated?

If the eyes of the President are not closed, then which body part is closed?

We also know it's the same tactics used by the opposition to oust PGEJ back then of which the now incumbent was part of the it, so what has now changed?

(1) The first thing POTUS should have done is to place an international arrest warrant on suspected sponsors of insurgency irrespective of position both past and present including known spouses, children and concubines/side chicks.

(2) Block financial accounts of same above.

(3) All those who have in previous times say that the bandits are their kits and kins should be made to stay on the same room with the bandits.

Canada-based Nigerian man called out for dumping Nigerian woman he dated online for 3 years to marry another woman he claimed is related to him

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to accuse her Canada-based boyfriend of betrayal after allegedly dumping her to marry another woman he had claimed was his cousin.

The woman, identified as Onyinyechi Onyenma, shared her story on Facebook, recounting how she dated a man named Izuchi Maurice Anthony, also known as Nazzy, for three years. According to her, Izuchi hails from Osisioma Ngwa, Umuagbara village in Amaise autonomous community, Abia State, and lives in Canada.

She explained that she had been supporting him financially since 2022. “I have been assisting him the little I can since 2022. It’s not because I have the money but because he told me his Nigerian account is not functioning,” she wrote.

Onyinyechi said she became suspicious after noticing that Izuchi often posted photos of a particular woman on his WhatsApp status, always with affectionate emojis. Whenever she confronted him about the lady, he reportedly told her the woman was his cousin. “This guy will always tell me it’s his cousin and that they can never marry because they’re related,” she wrote, adding that she later investigated his family background and discovered no such cousin existed.

She also claimed that Izuchi had promised marriage, asking her to tell her parents to prepare a traditional marriage list. “He promised me to return by November ending this year and he even went as far as telling me to tell my parents to get traditional marriage list for my bride price,” she wrote.

According to her, they had been dating exclusively online and had never met physically. “My reason then was because I needed to see him physically before going to his place (because we’ve been dating online), at least see him before going there,” she explained.

Onyinyechi added that Izuchi assured her he was “coming back” for her and pleaded that she should not “break his heart like other ladies did.”

I don't think you know the meaning of "Commander-in-chief of Nigeria's Armed Forces".

Governors have no power to stop terrorists or to fight insecurity.
Only the President have the power and constitutional backup to do and undo in Nigeria.

Anambra is a very young and upcoming state when Peter Obi governed it and with the meager resources Anambra had back then, Peter Obi did an excellent job.

Now he has even improved, gotten more exposure, more ideas, more alignments and more information plus experience to do even more on a national scale.

My experience, exposure and competence in life and leadership back in 2010/2012 cannot be compared to my credentials, experience, exposures and alignment today. I have become better. I have learned from my past mistakes and have improved myself to become better. I cannot be as bad as I was in 2012 today with what I know today and with my level of exposure today. But wicked people like you who are lovers of injustice, iniquity and bias will never admit these truths because in your hearts you already harbor hatred, wickedness and negativity about people from Peter Obi's side, that's it.

Please take care
The bolded is nothing but a delusional -illusional statement meant to make the deceitful one feel comfortable.

Any state governor shouting that they don't have power to fight insecurity in their State then such governors have no business remaining in office.

The essence of C - in - C title, regards to an outright war from a foreign invasion.

Cowardly move..
This is what gets me irritated with these blundering colony of administrative misfits that run Nigeria.
How can the leader of the biggest black nation on earth be running like a terrified toad in the middle of the afternoon to the United States capital, just because the president of the United States threatened to bomb some terrorists? No other dignified way to handle that?

Note: president Trump didn't threaten to bomb Aso rock or to bomb Lagos. He threatened to bomb terrorist camps that we have been told overtime by the Nigerian government to be in the inner forrests of the north and in the deserts, and are all full of "Libyan mercenaries" and all that..

Why is the president of Nigeria more worried about the American threats towards proven terrorists than with the eliminations of these camps? Why not send "Nigerian commados" to eliminate these camps, rather than rushing to Washington like "nwa boi" to beg Trump!? What matters most? The lives of ordinary Nigerians being slaughtered by these "Libyans", or the beleaguered image of an over traumatised country/presidency?
PBAT is more interested in keeping his presidency and presidential office.
He does not want to hear from the extremist Fulani Muslims in the North that because he allowed Trump's army into Nigeria to bomb the North, they will vote for him......That is PBAT s fear and that is what it is, and many who are eating from the table of the president.

You can see that AA, PO and some others have been silent on this.....

I hope you’re doing well. I’d like to get your advice on a small matter regarding my land. The person watching over it informed me that a few people are interested in using part of the space for selling good indomie and akara, and they’re willing to pay ₦15,000 per year each.

Since I don’t intend to use the land for the next 7-10 years and the area is developing quickly, I’m considering leasing it temporarily. However, I want to make sure it’s done the right way and that my ownership remains fully protected.

Could you please advise on the best approach — whether to lease it out for that amount, and if so, what kind of agreement or documentation would be safest?

Thank you for your guidance
Use the entire of your land and farm food crops of various types.

Recently she has gotten more relaxed , she used to mind her business, she comes and do her thing and leaves, now she overstays, and she's now meddling in our family affairs, trying to mom me and my siblings now, then turning our dad away from us, now my dad sponsors her and her child from another relationship but neglects us like he did our mom.

I could easily make life miserable for her but I am not interested because I'm moving out as soon as possible, but what about my siblings, she has taken over everything and now she's my father's voice.
Just one question....

TechToyin:
Hello house,
I just need some advice abeg.

I recently got a teaching job this term — I’m in my early 20s and I teach Physics to SS2 students. I gave them an assignment on Gas Laws last week, and while marking, one of the girls wrote “masturbate” as her answer.

I was honestly speechless. I didn’t even know how to react. The school doesn’t allow flogging or any form of physical punishment, so I can’t just “discipline” her the old way.

I’m trying to maintain professionalism, but that answer really shocked me. I don’t know if she was joking, testing me, or if there’s something else behind it.

Should I call her aside to talk? Or report it to the principal or class teacher?
I don’t want to embarrass her, but I also don’t want to ignore it.

Teachers and educationists in the house, please, how would you handle this kind of situation?
(1) Ask the student to bring her parent to the school.
(2) In the presence of the parent give the student her answer script/booklet and tell her to read all that she wrote on the script/booklet.
(3) Then ask her to explain the meaning of it as it relates to the question.
(4). Ensure you have two or three teachers present but don't preinform anyone what you intend to do.
(5). I dont know how the school management and principal handle such things but be ready for confrontation from school management/principal.......remember each student is your responsibility for the duration you'll be teaching them.

Be bold, stand your ground and affirm your position but do not give yourself to argument whatsoever.
Goodluck.
CareerRe: Doctor Compares His 7-year Salary In Nigeria And 6-month Salary In The UK by bixton(m): 9:32am On Oct 19, 2025
DyshApp:
A Nigerian medical doctor has stirred serious buzz online after comparing his earnings in Nigeria to what he now earns in the United Kingdom.

According to the doctor, identified as Dr. Tolu, he spent 7 years working in Nigeria without ever earning up to ₦185,000 monthly, even while juggling multiple jobs.

He revealed that after finishing medical school, he moved back in with his parents and lived with them till he was almost 30 years old — without owning a car.

However, after saving up to write the required exams and moving to the UK, his 6-month salary abroad reportedly surpassed his entire 7-year earnings in Nigeria.

Here’s what he wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

https://x.com/tolubinutu/status/1979021061573206219?t=Ug1tTovARqx5rkcb3tBEdQ&s=19

This revelation has sparked discussions about the state of healthcare salaries in Nigeria, brain drain, and why many Nigerian professionals are relocating abroad for better pay and work conditions.

Is the UK really that much better, or is it just hype?
It would be better to know what year did he start the work and counting 7 years up......

Kudos, ofurumapepe
The deputy governor holds more weight in the affairs of the State compared to governor. He can't be impeached and he won't join the governor is that resignation.
The governor is on his own. If the State Assembly members were with him in that resignation he would make that statement differently.
The governor's resignation has nothing to do with the issues in PDP but rather his interest in becoming a member in the federal legislative house.

Good day my fellow Nairalanders.....Hope each and every one of y'all is doing okay?

Well,I just remembered the first time I tasted palm wine and what it made me do......

It all happened back then in 2017.... During that time,I was working in a bakery and we were about 10-15 workers in total.......

Oh,Let me don't forget to mention the fact that if you really want to see different people from different spheres of life, then you should take your time to pay a visit to any bakery situated in a ghetto vicinity......Most times, we'd fight and insult ourselves, but las las, we'd still come together to do our work...... Before now, most of us,the workers were already fed up with our boss' attitude to work and his inability to increase our wages despite the hardwork we were doing......But no one would dare utter a word or be bold enough to make a formal complain before the boss himself angry....

So on that fateful night, a colleague of mine who just recently came back from his village brought a bottle of chilled palm wine and shared it amongst us........That was how I kept drinking, and I didn't know the outcome would be brutal........

On that same night, I walked up to my boss with full boldness and yelled at him, telling him about everything he has been doing to us and I made sure I insulted the hell out of him....and the only thing I could remember was that he kept shaking his head... angry. I spoke to him like a man, and on behalf of my colleagues angry. The last thing I could also remember that night was a good friend of mine who was also my colleague, dragging me off angry.

That was how I managed to stagger home.......I never knew what I had done, not until the following morning....That was when I realized that palm wine had made me lose my job angry. Shame couldn't make me to go back and apologize to my boss so that I could go back to work......I leant my lesson from that day.........And I also realized that alcohol generally wasn't meant for a person like me......

Since then,I swore I'd never taste alcohol again angry so my brothers and sisters, have you ever been a victim of alcohol and what did it make you do? Let's have some fun my Nairalanders..
