The real saboteurs are the labour cabals benefiting from the suffering of the common man. The labour leaders are stinkingly and super rich. They use these rank and file workers to protest and go behind to collect large bribes from government. They often call for warning strike when they are broke. Dangote knows where this is coming from. It is like covenant university lecturers joining ASUU and blaming Oyedepo for sacking them when they go on strike

They are complaining that Dangote is importing foreign workers..
What is the credibility of Nigerian workers in handle critical roles ..or you think it isn't costing him more money to retain foreign workers?.

Which Nigerian company can handle a standard road construction even Nigeria government patronise foreign companies and workers to hire big projects because they know most Nigerian fully owned companies are rubbish ..

Their stands IS that all the company's workers must be under union.. and this is for ulterior motives..
You can continue to deceive yourself that it is truly for workers welfare.. cabals who want to bring down the refinery want to use the workers to penetrate into the facility and control..

A clear example has been set.. IOCs who have no business with this are about to go on strike.. the union didn't go on strike when 3bn dollars was spent to rehabilitate dead refineries and none of them work today ..

Even the cement manufacturing division of Dangote group have unions.. it is not like the Dangote hates the initiative..

This case is different

.you think Dangote is a fool to not know what they want to use so called Union to do his refinery?
NNPC tried by trying to starve the refinery from receiving crude. Dangote went ahead to import crude And the fact that his facility sits on a free trade zone gives him the right to do it and most importantly..his facility can crack any crude meaning he doesn't need to stay dependent on Nigerian crude..NNPC failed..

NUPRC tried by calling products from Dangote concentrated with impurities (sulphur) today Nigerians attest to the fact that the product of the refinery are the best for their engines...NUPRC failed..

NUPENG tried by threatening to prevent lifting of products from the refinery..Dangote bought 4000 trucks to do it himself..they failed..

It is PENGASSAN turn..let see how it unfold..

Some how ..all these unions never stood up when the refineries died..when people were stealing crude and subsidy money.. when people imported adulterated products because they are complicit..

You can keep deceiving yourself..

ASUU not going to strike yet has nothing to do with CONUA but ongoing negotiation. You don't go on strike while negotiation is ongoing. It is against labour law. CONUA is irrelevant and can't be used to checkmate ASUU.

PENGASSAN are quick to cite "laws of the country" which they themselves blatantly flout at every given opportunity.

The "laws of the country" which they cite talks about "freedom of association" but, PENGASSAN is making belonging to an association "compulsory".

So, who's disobeying the "laws of the land" when all workers are being constrained into belonging to a union by force?

Where, therefore, is the "freedom of association"?

The Industrial Court and, indeed, the Supreme Court needs to clarify this burning issue if a stop is to be put to the excesses of PENGASSAN and her affiliates.

Oga, he is talking about our constitution, not some opinion or religion. The constitution allows for freedom of association but enforcement is a different ball game.

What kind of comparison is this? The guy is talking about workers freedom to associate with NUPENG or not, which is correct, and you are talking about religion that is a matter of faith and a totally different thing.

Fundamental issue here is that NUPENG is a gang of self-serving blackmailers and mercenaries with hidden agenda. This is not about the welfare of Dangote Refinery Drivers/workers.

They are acting in a dictatorial and lawless manner simply because they wish to be able to blackmail Dangote at will, for 'egunje', once his workers are in their union and compelled to obey their strike order.
