DeLaRue: '... from the new members class, I graduated from The Redeemed Christian Bible College, also School of Disciples to become a worker, then a Deaconess and later an Assistant Pastor in 2018'
According to you, someone that went to bible college, and attended School of Disciples, then became a deaconess, and assistant pastor, is not fit to be a pastor
Majority of pastors in Nigeria today have not even stepped foot in a bible college, yet this woman did, yet you still find fault.
Attending a Bible College is not a criteria to be called or ordained a Pastor...... Not that it is not good, but it's not a Scriptural criteria if that is what you're intending to point out.
You better be reading the Holy Bible which holds the WORD of God and check the criteria such position.
The Word of God transforms only those who yield to the quickening Spirit of the Lord.
Babamorayo: This is serious if true. A whole Dbanj? I hope he makes a post confirming or debunking this statement. If true only God knows what most people suffer under celebrities.
No be only a whole.... So you think the 50 year old artist wey marry State Senator na for love, ke?
Starhearts: Is easy to criticise... But providing better solution is huge problem
U just wake up start to start glibeerism....
Go bd look 4 beta daily bread 🍞
Is this administration providing better solution(s) to the problems it's causing every day.....!!!
This same administration that removed PGEJ administration is the one telling Nigerians to brace up ......their issues is even worse than that of PGEJ for their are self inflicted and more.
Even Nicodemus sought repentance buy this one is feigning ignorance and blaming Nigerians....!!!!
Manny21: The real saboteurs are the labour cabals benefiting from the suffering of the common man. The labour leaders are stinkingly and super rich. They use these rank and file workers to protest and go behind to collect large bribes from government. They often call for warning strike when they are broke. Dangote knows where this is coming from. It is like covenant university lecturers joining ASUU and blaming Oyedepo for sacking them when they go on strike
You know nothing about UNIONs
Please be informed that PENGASSUN EXCOs are also workers within the IOCs earning salaries/wages from their respective employers and likewise their members.
Your analogy of private university and private refinery does not follow. It's too distinct operations. Just because it's private doesn't make it same.
Good luck to Nigeria expect any further investors to come in..last year Nigeria only attracted a mere 1bn USD in FDI ..Egypt attracted over 40 billion dollars..I don't even want to mention Kenya and the rest ..
Nigerians are the loudest when it comes to destruction..but to build we go silent..
First it was NNPC.. Then we had NUPRC, NUPENG and now PENGASSAN..
let me remind you that Dangote cement have unions there.. this is way beyond aluta for members..
People keep yapping about Dangote workers being maltreated..so is it BUA or Lafarge that cement workers are earning billions.
They are complaining that Dangote is importing foreign workers.. What is the credibility of Nigerian workers in handle critical roles ..or you think it isn't costing him more money to retain foreign workers?.
Which Nigerian company can handle a standard road construction even Nigeria government patronise foreign companies and workers to hire big projects because they know most Nigerian fully owned companies are rubbish ..
You're only delusional if you think the Indians working for Dangote have integrity over Nigerians....... I don't even know if there's any significant difference.
One thing about Nigerians bringing in foreigners is that it makes it easy to launder funds through such persons and their subsidiary companies.
Likewise when you say there's no Nigerian company that can deliver standard road construction.......I can't even remember if there are still whites working as project engineers or site engineers on every road construction done in the South South region.....it's been quiet long I saw them. These things are not rocket science.
Opebiman: You are not seeing the bigger picture If it is voluntary...why does the union want to shove it down the throat of the company.. Their stands IS that all the company's workers must be under union.. and this is for ulterior motives.. You can continue to deceive yourself that it is truly for workers welfare.. cabals who want to bring down the refinery want to use the workers to penetrate into the facility and control..
A clear example has been set.. IOCs who have no business with this are about to go on strike.. the union didn't go on strike when 3bn dollars was spent to rehabilitate dead refineries and none of them work today ..
Even the cement manufacturing division of Dangote group have unions.. it is not like the Dangote hates the initiative..
This case is different
.you think Dangote is a fool to not know what they want to use so called Union to do his refinery? NNPC tried by trying to starve the refinery from receiving crude. Dangote went ahead to import crude And the fact that his facility sits on a free trade zone gives him the right to do it and most importantly..his facility can crack any crude meaning he doesn't need to stay dependent on Nigerian crude..NNPC failed..
NUPRC tried by calling products from Dangote concentrated with impurities (sulphur) today Nigerians attest to the fact that the product of the refinery are the best for their engines...NUPRC failed..
NUPENG tried by threatening to prevent lifting of products from the refinery..Dangote bought 4000 trucks to do it himself..they failed..
It is PENGASSAN turn..let see how it unfold..
Some how ..all these unions never stood up when the refineries died..when people were stealing crude and subsidy money.. when people imported adulterated products because they are complicit..
You can keep deceiving yourself..
Please go and find out the roles of NUPENG and PENGASSUN in the industry and it's significance to employees of labour. If you don't even know those who are UNION Executives are also employees within the industry. You only hear Dangote bought trucks and nothing NUPENG could do about it. You need to find out how it was resolved, that particular issue. Please don't ask me.
It is not the place of PENGASSUN to ensure that the Nigerian refineries are working or not. No, it's never their place for members of PENGASSUN and it's EXCOs all over Nigeria are still employees.
It is like NLC telling the FG to employ people in government establishments......
ADUBA1: ASUU not going to strike yet has nothing to do with CONUA but ongoing negotiation. You don't go on strike while negotiation is ongoing. It is against labour law. CONUA is irrelevant and can't be used to checkmate ASUU.
Very irrelevant CONUA and many don't even know.
How I wish it would be that anytime the FG honours their agreement with ASUU those in CONUA doesn't benefit then many will understand how it is..
A lot of Nigerians don't have thinking heads. They just cap nothing believing they are saying something.
The benefits of PENGASSUN to employees directly and indirectly in the industry far out weights the troubles.
hotseat: You asked: "Do you know anyone who PENGASSAN have forced in joining their Union, please bring proof and don't say what you don't know".
This shows you are living in a different planet entirely and it would amount to a sheer waste of time engaging in any polemics with you.
Ignorance is bliss to the uninformed.
@hotseat
There are those of us who work in this industry and we don't talk from mere road side talks or beer parlour rantings or free readers association knows it all discuss....
Did the market people who were selling at exorbitant prices their commodities borrow money from Dangote when they were selling higher prices and you were complaining about it some months ago?
Or did you not complain about the price of bag of rice and so and so...
zelnababa: they should go on strike naw, they re some useless ppl who does not want this country to work, they are finding all means to fight Dangote cus of their selfish interest. They don't even believe that individual can archieved what Government can not.
infohenry: Please don't even support this pengassan criminals bro this is my industry, this guys are criminals they have caused a lot damage to oil and gas industry in Nigeria. Shell sold all their onshore assets is because of this guys awards all sorts contracts to themselves and cronies declared productive wells non productive turn around sold to their friends. They are evil if dangote want to succeed he must not allow them to occupy strategic positions in his company. NNPC is not working is because of this guys.
You're very funny....
Please specify what role you play in this industry you call your own?
Do you know the cadre of people who are members of PENGASSAN who work in the industry you just want to talk to the gullible?
Please show proof of PENGASSAN members being able to give contracts to themselves and their cronies that will make a company like SHELL sell it's assets like you mentioned or you just like capping what your imagination tells you ?
You forgot to even mention ENI who sold to OANDO....was it because of PENGASSAN too?
hotseat: PENGASSAN are quick to cite "laws of the country" which they themselves blatantly flout at every given opportunity.
The "laws of the country" which they cite talks about "freedom of association" but, PENGASSAN is making belonging to an association "compulsory".
So, who's disobeying the "laws of the land" when all workers are being constrained into belonging to a union by force?
Where, therefore, is the "freedom of association"?
The Industrial Court and, indeed, the Supreme Court needs to clarify this burning issue if a stop is to be put to the excesses of PENGASSAN and her affiliates.
@hotseat
Do you know anyone who PENGASSAN have forced in joining their Union, please bring proof and don't say what you don't know!!!!!
Do you think it's market women business with three employees!!!!?
From many of the write ups you'll know many have spent time living in face me face you apartments and don't know it's unhealthy for 100 people to share a single toilet and bathroom which constitutes an environmental hazard.
Many don't know the labour laws of the country so they can afford to spew trash against Unions and speak for Dangote who they slave for.
Is it not Dangote trucks that have been killing people on the high ways and everyone keeps silent because no driver is found and plate number of truck is taken away....
OneCandleAway: But you know Tinubu wont conduct a fair election. There'll be server glitches, different result will reflect online compared to the polling center result and it will end in go to court. Where woke is building houses for the judges.
This same Woke has been building houses for judges when he was governor for 8 years and none complained about it , not even oppositions back then........why complain when he is a minister !!!!!
Front0lane: So why did the union not protect Nigeria from the workers till they ran the refinery in Warri PH n Kaduna aground ?
Una go open mouth vomit rubbish. I will rather give Dangote the benefit of a doubt than your like. How many Innoson orange drugs or coscharis worker joined union n why are you not wailing about that ?
It's very clear you know nothing about Unions.
Simple question you should respond to...
(1). Who is at the top 10 positions of the NNPC and it's subsidiaries?
(2). NNPC is practically run by the FG who have watched over the years since POBJ administration till date continued in a sham money spending TAM, who do you think benefits in such sham TAM?
bigpicture001: According to my friend who enrolled into a theology school two years ago...
He said they taught them that Jesus was a mystic person instead of the soft angelic being being shown everywhere
You should know without anyone telling you that yor friend did not enrol in a school of theology to learn about Jesus Christ but to learn something that is mystical.
Anyways did he happen to tell you the name of that school of theology and who is the founders of it?

If you say it doesn't matter then why do some bother when 4 X Y12 (if it's size alone that matters) is been used for columns for single storey buildings instead of 6 X Y12 or the standard 4 X Y16 ?
It's in such public outlets you'll know a lot of people don't have balanced ideas and understanding of things, that's why they talk from both sides of their lips...
The Nigerian law states that workers are free to associate or join unions and a company law states that it's workers are not to join unions.... Please which of the law is expected to take precedence?
Is this not the reason why the Fulani herdsman is protected by the law and the farmer whose crop is destroyed by the yhe herdsman is not protected by the same law. It's this same that allows Muslims to kill anyone who they always alleged to blaspheme their god and Mohamed but when it comes from other religions they are arrested as a fast a jet speed.
Anyways what is the main purpose of unions in any organization of which those who are in higher management who stifle the necks of subordinates also benefits from the winnings of such Unions.
Many of these people applauding Dangote as a private business who makes profits are the ones who come out to complain that prices of foodstuffs and other commodities are on the high price...... please don't you want these businesses to make profits like Dangote and co!!!!!!
Some of you lots go to 3 Star eateries where you pay more than a 100,000 naira for a set course meal but you'll be pricing onion and pepper in the market with the old lowly market woman and making it be like you're being cheated...!!!!
P1PrinceKT: So if IPOB or Ametukun Kills 1000 soldiers, is that the reason to wipe out entire South?
We are all certain those IPOB and Ametukun lives amongst us and are known so let those who know them fish them out or face the consequences of total onslaught on all.....
That is the reason the North is ravaged by bandits and all because they refused to fish them out, now they are all endangered.
Whether it is fuel tax or income tax or whatever they call it, I don't see this administration implementing it........
You can't tax people's account for services not rendered by the government...
Even the banks will be plunged into chaos and fraudulent activities.
You want to tax the monthly upkeep money many people send to their age old parents and other dependents......
Well, the most funny one is that they want to tax clergy men......funny lots..
Even Nicodemus know when to refrain from such acts of unrighteousness and seek Christ Jesus into his heart.
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Winning an election is not the issue, the issue is don't let your ill gotten policies cause more harm to your administration.
franchasofficia: This man called Atiku Abubakar is far better than Bola Tinubu but many Nigerians were deceived and lied to.
Atiku will be a far more better President than Buhari and Tinubu combined.
His liberal stand towards extreme Islamic doctrines has been the reason his Northern brothers don't give him the maximum support he needed to become President of Nigeria, I do feel for him, Nigeria despise good hearted people
How does the bolded bring meaningful development and better economy for the Nigerian State?
geoworldedu: 500k in Jonathan's era can achieve so much more. So it has been better in the past regimes. Even Buhari regime boasts of a far better life for citizens. This regime is poor evil.
Yes, it can achieve so much more in PGEJ's administration but there were striking!!!!! So what was the reason for the strikes?
Brendaniel: When I wrote here that a professor in Nigeria cannot afford flight ticket with his salary but a factory worker in the U.S can go on full holiday trip to another country with his salary, some people who are supporting the evil in Aso rock where saying otherwise to justify what the evil has turned Nigeria to.
Just imagine the lowest workers abroad earning more than our professors here in Nigeria and yet they are telling Nigerians that they need to pay tax and price of goods and services like those abroad.
Your likes always like demonizing the President.
Let us face the wholesome truth, has it ever been better since 1999 till before PBAT?!!!!
Has ASUU not been going on strike since this democracy started in Nigeria and has any year gone past without ASUU not embarking on a strike ?
What has always been the major concern and issue for such endless strikes that even made some State governors made it possible that the State Universities/Tertiary Institutions within no longer joined their counterparts in FG established institutions in such endless strikes?
Is there anyone in Nigeria who will claim to say that they are well paid given what is paid in those countries that use $$$$ ?
Misterone: Oga, he is talking about our constitution, not some opinion or religion. The constitution allows for freedom of association but enforcement is a different ball game.
English is always about comprehension/understanding then application as everything in life.
Is it Dangote that will speak for the tanker workers or does Dangote want to have its own special tanker drivers union separate from NUPENG?
Was this not what POBJ during his administration tried to water down ASUU due to their endless strikes that the FG has refused to bring to an end that some State governors in their wisdom hace ensured State Universities/Institutions do not join in such national strikes.....!!!!
WizardOfNG: What kind of comparison is this? The guy is talking about workers freedom to associate with NUPENG or not, which is correct, and you are talking about religion that is a matter of faith and a totally different thing.
Fundamental issue here is that NUPENG is a gang of self-serving blackmailers and mercenaries with hidden agenda. This is not about the welfare of Dangote Refinery Drivers/workers.
They are acting in a dictatorial and lawless manner simply because they wish to be able to blackmail Dangote at will, for 'egunje', once his workers are in their union and compelled to obey their strike order.
What makes religion any different from it? Is it not the constitution that says "one is free to associate with whomever one chooses"...... As long as the association does nothinder the progress of the country!!!!!
