At least we know where Dangote is coming from, they should tell their own version.
Like I said even a four year will say it's a lie.

They don't need to say anything anymore because there's no more strike and they have be re-deployed.

This is one of those of those half truths and half lies they are trying to ditch into people to swallow hard...

Probably this carrier of this message is on the payroll of Dangote doing his bidding.

If this is the case why don't Dangote come out clean and say it rather than hiding behind the word "restructuring" of company.....

Even a four year old will laugh this off....

When last did labour union fight a good fight.

Many people are languishing in various jobs

All of a sudden Labour union remembers Dangote

Let labour union fight the good fight

You now want a private entity to listen to you

When they fight as ASUU they leave out those in private universities
They leave out those in private institutions
When they fight for workers they ignore those in private sectors

Minimum wage is effective in govt jobs

The private worker still earns 30k 10k 15k and all.

Now all of a sudden Dangote refinery is now the place to fight

lol

Dangote should just open portal for employment for engineers and you will see the rate at which phd and profs will aim to get the jobs.

Nigerians want same treatment with Indians

But Nigerians have not been able to make ph and Warri work

I rather pay Indians more and get the job done
The same Phd and Professors who applied as drivers when he was looking for drivers in one of his companies!!!!!!!

Lts of jokes on your likes.
Please go ahead and employ even Palestinians.

So when it comes to dangote, we should see the bigger picture? GTB sacked staff in August, nothing happened. Another bank also did same in September, nothing happened. Why is dangote's own an issue? I don't like people being laid off but it's not a crime.
Those who were sacked in the banks were they part of any Unions associated with bankers?

Don't come out to say what you have no idea of other than what you read on the chalkboard.

Laying people off is not a crime but there are procedures. That is why people don't agree to jungle justice when a thief is caught but many of your likes speaking for Dangote are acting out patterns of jungle justice.

They were never commissioners or public officers/appointees if their appointments were not approved by the legitimate members of the RSHoA headed by the legitimate Speaker of the House.

I believe this is one of the reasons the HoA headed by the Speaker are shunnig Fubara and not attending any public function/activities with him.
Nevertheless, there's no law stipulating that they have to. The arms of government and governance are independent or seems to be as the case maybe.

It is a free world. Those who do not want to work in Dangote refinery can go and join Total, Shell and the likes.
It is not by force. Dangote has the right to reorganize and restructure his factory, including the right to hire and fire. He will pay adequate compensation according to the terms of the employment contract.
Please if Dangote does not want UNIONs, then let him start making plans to either fully importing the entirety of his crude for refining or he better start have his own mining company for crude oil and let him do as he wish and sell to foreigners.....
That way he is at liberty to sell to neighbouring countries.

Redeployment within the Dangote company is a general term and none knows where they will be put, but we do know that they would be put in areas where they are useful.
Remember, they will all be put in areas where they are needed.

The most important is that the redeployment doesn't affect their original take home packages

Moreover, Dangote Refinery is nearly 5 years old but you want to compare it's payslip to companies with over 50 years operations.

Reference:
I have heard a lot of talk about the unions and how they played along with the death of the government owned refineries. This is absolutely false because they have been speaking publicly about the refinery question for decades. Just that the other two sides, the public and the government have not found the synergy to respond appropriately.

Just like the other notable unions like ASUU. Has this union not been talking and protesting and striking about the conditions of Nigerian universities and the state of higher education in general or the NMA and it's affiliates about the state of public health and healthcare facilities and healthcare practitioners in Nigeria for years now.

But whenever they do what is the result. Half the populace berates them, the other half makes excuses for central government resulting in half measures at addressing issues that have deep seated and fundamental origins. So government after government just whitewashes issues and moves on.

This is where the state of the oil industry has reached despite the unions who I clearly remember since the Kokori days have publicly complained that the refineries were not properly maintained and even then went ahead to accuse the then government of corruption in executing the various TAMs.

Nigerians only need to study their history and do their part in acting on the information these unions provide on the state of our public services.
The reaaon why such exists still is because gullibility like blood runs in the body of many.
Though they claim to be learned but there's actually no proof when one listens to their reasonings.

FG sells local crude to dangote at OPEC approved price. Dangote only gets 45% from FG, he sources 55% of the required crude from overseas at pays at international price. He was able to crash the price of crude oil from N1400 to slightly above N800. He is telling you that Nupeng, pengasson dues apart from FG NPA loading fee is part of why the petrol still costs that much. These unions have mostly importers competing against him and they charge tankers loading at his refinery N50,000 per tank. This fee is passed on to the petrol buyer. Even after dangote decides to buy trucks and handle the logistics freely by himself eliminating the cost of delivery, if unions are allowed to impose arbitrary charges, the petrol users won't see any changes in price.

Besides, N50,000 per loading tanker x 10,000 trucks loaded daily = N500, 000, 000 per day collected as union dues. Multiply that by 365 days of the year = N182, 500, 000, 000 as union dues from.petrol tank drivers in one year alone. This will be shared by less than 20 persons called exco

Wetin dey burst pengasson and nupeng head, na the potential dues from estimated 30,000 dangote workers. The figure is big and the potential revenue from their union dues collection can make anybody head burst. 30,000 x N20,000 monthly dues = N7,200,000,000 per year in dues from dangote refinery alone. All these monies to be shared by less than 20 persons called union exco. Searchight needs to be beamed on the finances of unions in Nigeria
Continuing telling fairy tales.

No be only 50k per truck them dey collect as dues. If you know anyone please let them show you proof of payment and to whose account?

Lol. Looking for sympathy from other unions is foolish. Threatening to shut down the nation is tantamount to treason. In a place where there is law and order, the union would drag Dangote to court while the sacked workers protest out side his gates.
Maybe you should advice Dangote to ask his to employees get a sworn affidavit from the Court that they would not join any Union whatsoever before accepting an employment...

I am very sure you can do that.

Dangote is not Nigeria and Nigeria is not Dangote.

Dangote either respects ILO laws, the laws of the Nigeria and abide by them or sells off his refinery.

What destruction are you going to carry out that you and your boy Satanyanhu have not done already?

Right now, everyone needs to start asking isn’t it a modified HAMAS created by Israel that carried out the Oct. 7th kidnapping? Because with the power Israel and the US claimed to have, the one they used to eliminate all authentic HAMAS leaders, how come they can’t use it to locate the ones holding the captives and rescue them instead of killing innocent civilians?

The fact remains it’s a pre-planned agenda between Israel and the US long before Oct. 7th to steal more land from the Palestines. Trump even testified to the fact by insinuating he will use Palestinian land to make a Resort.

You can use whatever power you have against them today, but you CAN NOT kill their resilience. Victory awaits the Palestinians.
I wonder what kind of victory awaits them and where !!!!

The only question you need to ask yourself is what do you want to make out of life working there assuming you're to be there in 20 years time?

[quote author=loffyloffy post=136970469]Bros your heads are in the cloud, you are more of a theorist than a realistic.

While it is True that God should call you into ministry before you start a church, it is not necessarily true that everyone that have to work with you in leadership to run that ministry must be directly called by God.

Moses was called by God, but he chose the elders that worked with him.

While the Apostle were called they elected people of good character, who in all likelihood have gone through a training process to be leaders in the church.

When Paul was telling us the criteria for choosing a Bishop, he never mentioned that he must have been called by God as a criteria.

Jesus christ himself settled this kind of discussion when he was talking about 'Eunuchs' .He said some are 'born', some are 'made eunuch by men' and some of their own choice ' made themselves eunuch for the kingdom'

Just replace the word 'eunuch' with 'pastor' and you will catch my flow.

You should not start a ministry unless God call you, But you can rise up to become anything within a ministry without being explicitly called by God.

[/quote

The issue we have in Africa and especially Nigeria is that we put too much bearing and weight in titles which shouldn't be so.
The work of God doesn't work that way.

I am very sure you have heard the name Bro. Gbile Akani.

In Christianity such titles have spiritual implications. Answering certain titles here on earth is irrelevant if heaven has not registered your name to such titles.
