Michv, you're becoming a visa officer,I really appreciate that, that is what I intend doing. michV: thanks for the acknowledgement. as you said your are a contract staff there, you can do without STUDY LEAVE LETTER. my friend was a contract staff at FIRST BANK NIG LTD before he left for studies in canada,he didn't add study leave letter to his application, only his employment letter from the contracting firm, deployment letter, payslip, intro letter, work ID and personal SOA he added as work related docs. moreover examine your SOP on what you have written of what the usefulness of the degree in canada will add to ur profile on return. my friend stated as a contract staff that my intended degree will nourish me with the knowledge/skill to manage/analyse/secure financial investment i.e enhancing my career opportunity which would offer me the opportunity of being a full time staff position in any top booming financial organization in Nigeria thereby attracting bigger salary pay bla bla bla and so on.so in essence the study leave is not a must from them rather re-work on ur SOP if you already stated ur are coming back to work with them again. every statement in writing we make in our application interprets logical meaning to these VOs which we should be mindful of... |

Thank you for this.....Michv you got the point, that is the issue the HRM raised for my case...will i now wait till that time...isnt o michV: bro Goodmorning, study leave IS NOT A MUST which many working have gotten their TRV without that.successful ones here can testify to my statement.but i would "consider" STUDY LEAVE LETTER A MUST on the CONDITION of if your intended academic pursuit is useful to an organization and/or intends to elevate your profile in such organization if you have the interest in coming back to such organization, then study leave is advisable.moreover some organizations grant study leave letter if you'v worked for a period of time like say 5yrs and above so it varies between organizations. |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by bjmme: 10:44am On Jul 27, 2016 |
And when the organisation refuse to issue out study leave as a result of being a contract staff,in which they let me know they can only give me a letter of introduction and a letter from the department where i am working with,of which i am more a year with them. what can one do.please dont advise me to beg o,i have done that already. omooba2015: YES... because, u claim u are working, and the organization need to grant u permission to study.. Abi u don retire from d company.. |

Sponsors (Parents) Mother : International passport data page UK visa Bank statements of 2m balance Cooperative letter of introduction Letter of introduction from employer. Letter of sponsorship Payslip Employment letter (in her maiden name), change of name acknowledgment from employer and marriage certificate. Vice principal appointment letter. Letter of recommendation from employer. Promotion letter Affidavit of sponsorship.
Father: Letter of sponsorship Affidavit of sponsorship Fixed deposit certificate of 3.5m Letter of introduction from employer Bank statement of 1.4m balance Land receipt Land survey plans Land use charge Utility bills Pension statement Promotion letter International passport data page Valid US visa, SA and UK visa.
I made a mistake on my family information form (inputted my siblings names under children) which I noticed, sent a case enquiry and the response was to send a mail to Accra immigration. Also, I sent two case enquiries when my application was over 10 weeks. Got a response today...lol
My mum's inflow came in from her cooperative society, hence the letter to prevent sudden inflow suspicion. I was denied UK visa in November and I stated it clearly on the IMM 1294.
I applied in the comfort of my bedroom. Got a lot of information from nairaland before applying.
To fellow TRV hopefuls, don't despair; We didn't come this far to only come this far.
The wait was terrible, once I begin to lose hope, I say to myself I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall continually be in my mouth to clear any negative thoughts.
It shall all end in praise.[/quote] |

To all PGD/PGC,please note this,if one is rejected ,or no mail as per your application don't ever believe is because you are going for PGD/PGC,a friend that is not on this forum got his approval yesterday, and he is going for a PGc,is an assumption by many pple here..... |

You will laugh last CassetteBoy: [/b]Praise The Lord everyone! I got my medical mail some minutes back. Points to note: 1. Humans are insatiable. For very long I was worried of being delayed cos my app is 13+wks. Currently I'm worried of how long my medical would take before the embassy receive it and ask for my passport. Am I serious at all?
2. Applications are being attended to at random. When apps come in, they are shared amongst attendants/VO's apparently. Each VO has his/her own efficiency rate. You may submit before someone but that person would get medical/approval before you cos of the speed difference between your attendant and his. We should stop worrying and start praying for the specific attendants on our cases for God-speed.
3. Everything has it's time. When this thread was still young, online route was exceptionally the best. Currently paper route is leading the pack. I don't know the reason for this, but I'll personally advice upcoming applicants to use the paper route for swiftness. Who knows, online route may rise again next year, as everything has it's time...just monitor the trend of your time.
4. Do upfront medicals. If you know you are really sure of coming to Canada. That is, even if they delay you once/twice you will still try again aka Canada is do-or-die. DO UPFRONT MEDICALS BEFORE APPLYING. Currently I am trying to do my medicals cos I didn't know this before hand. If not for medicals, today would have been my passport request. I bless my God still, at all at all na e bad pass.
That being said, please I need expert advice regarding my medicals @thesoj, @Onyeoma3, @Siga, @justwise, @daveboiz and any other helpful individual
Where do I go? Children's practice: 8-10am tomorrow Deliver to embassy within 7 working days
IOM Ikeja: 8am next week Monday Delivers to embassy within 2 working days
Q-life: Only available next week Thursday |

Does that mean,no PGC/PGD applicants will be admitted this year,i think is a wrong assumption.....please share your documents submitted with us,and be prepared to re-apply. sleekytee: Hello house, finally pick up my passport it was a refusal (insufficient) fund with 15m and av even pay part of my tuition fee 9CD receipt which I use 2 apply, I just feel they aren't giving PGD and PGC approval. I was even called for medicals plus av even booked my flight so painful but I know God has a reason. Pls house any1 going for PGD or PGC that has gotten approval |
