IDENNAA:The truth is bitter my friend. As for the Imo you blabbing about. If you have issues with them, go and settle it like a man. Imagine saying school is not cheap or doubting that more than 50 percent did not drop when the school fees was raised out of a sudden from forty something thousand to around 120. Or the secondary school level that was raised from nothing to emergency 6-12k by the missionaries. That is from almost free education and total free education to emergency 6-12k school fees. Do your own research. Obi was a disaster to Anambra growing education. Incase you don't know. I don't support Obiano or any governor, warrant chief or the likes, all I see is Igbo nation. And please I am not from the area you call Imo State. So like I said before, if you have issues with them, man up, walk up to them and settle it like a man |
Walkee:We analysed this name when I was in Uniben and no Bini person can deduce the meaning. They said it sounds like an unintelligible phrase. That is the few youths that can speak Bini in the school |
irepnaija4eva:Nna, not today. I am not in the mood to entertain Ụmụ Atụlụ. This thing was what we trying to hide from the public by shielding them. Now it has gone viral and he still wants me to entertain him? Mbanụ. Ihe nile nwe oge |
IDENNAA:Even at that time, Anambra still needed a cargo Airport. Just cargo if he can't afford passengers. Obi really messed up. Speaking of pressing issues. The most pressing issue in Anambra has always been touts. Did Obi address that? No. Though neither did Obiano but like I said people will forget whether both of them did after it will be addressed. As for Poverty, I don't buy that. The main cause of increase in prices of goods and services has always been extortion from touts and Obi did not address that. As for Education. Obi did well in building many schools but you forgot that it was during Obi's tenure that public schools were handed over to the missionaries resulting in tremendous increase in school fees thus making a lot of people to withdraw their children. Many kids stopped going to school in Anambra and returned to their states example Rochas Okorocha Imo State. It was also during Obi's tenure that school fees in Anambra state University (ANSU) was increased by more than 300 percent which resulted in more than 50 percent students withdrawing. With all due respect nna, Peter Obi was a disaster and nightmare to the citizens of Anambra on the education aspect |
kayuseful:Which world? Oga nobody cares. The earlier you understand that we are fighting Britain and neo colonial powers the better for you. You think Britain help you break out from Nigeria were they enjoy uncalculated exploitation of oil to form Biafra or Igbo Republic were everything will be run like they do in Europe? Use your sense. Know who we are fighting against |
IDENNAA:This is exactly what I am talking about. Peter Obi's achievement are mere grammar for geeks to read. In few years time it will be synonymous to making noise because they would have wearied off and reconstructed or changed by another governor. For example. The roads. Was Peter Obi the first to construct them? Second of all, was he the first to make profit in Anambra stock? You need to understand. Peter Obi's story ends with our generation. But in Obiano's case, after 50 years and so people will still point at the Airport, whether maintained or upgraded and say "Chief Willie Obiano built this" |
Walkee:Well I can't speak much about his personal ancestry because there are both Ẹdo settlers and slaves (those we call Dimkpa Bini) in Western Igboland. But as for naming, at that time everybody were under colonial rule so the politicians have the privileges to coin names. Wasn't Nigeria named at that time? Or many names wasn't changed then? Or Bini itself not named by a Yoruba Prince? |
Mangekyo:Wait a minute, let me get this straight. Bini people called you slave, you no talk. Reno Omokri called you Itshekiri slaves and even proved it with the name of your Obi in the person of Mr Ikenchukwu and you still no talk. Instead of replying them, you turn on free borns. Nwa afọ Igbo to talk trash. Will you shut up there! Ohu. Slave like you poking nose where free people are talking. Never in your life reply this moniker again. OHU |
Walkee:Why do you like lying in public? First of all, there is nothing like Onitsha region. Onitsha is actually a small town by landmass in Anambra. That is if she is not the smallest. Second of all, Onitsha was never a Bini Colony. Bini never stepped outside Ika. Third of all, Bini was defeated by 12 British soldiers in a day. 4 hours in fact. It was documented. After the defeat, the Oba was exiled to Calabar. Now finally, You people actually think Igbo people were monks. Out of the three castes in Igboland, there is the ohu (Slaves). If you are being sincere to yourself, with the population of slaves Ndigbo have, who do you think colonised the other in the ancient times or took more of the other as slaves between Igbo and Benin? |
Walkee:What are you implying? |
Antoeni:So much truth |
If you do your investigation you'll notice that the officer that opened fire is from SE but that doesn't matter now until the people retaliate it will turn to "They are killing Igbo police officers" The term "traitor" exists for a purpose |
horsepower102:Exactly. It is in the gene |
horsepower102:These Ika people funny sha. Whenever they want to absolve themselves of impending danger or attack fellow Western Igbo like during the war, they remember that they are Ika and semi Bini slaves but when it is time to lick Bini ynash as the slaves they are, they want to drag the term Anioma into it forgetting that it was coined in 1951 by one man. Now the Bini people have come for their slaves and they think they will drag others to their slavery. No it doesn't happen like that. All slaves should slave in peace and leave free people out of it |
globemoney01:You've said it all. Peter Obi doesn't have fore sight. He won't be remembered except by geeks for history purposes. But you see Obiano, Hmmm I never liked this guy but history will be kind to him. People forget that humans tend to forget things immediately they no longer witness it. Very soon it will be only our generation that will know that during Obiano's tenure, some roads were not fixed and Touts reigned supreme at Onitsha and the entire Anambra because just like roads, people will forget about touts once they are curbed. Only the person that curbs it will be remembered. As for those that it existed during their time, discrediting them with it will be hard because the new generation will doubt that it was not that hard or how we say it just like the story of Bakassi. This Obiano guy smart oh |
BeardedMeat:No not with Afonjas. If na you, you go follow Afonja? Or allow your own daughter to follow an Afonja? Mokason288:My dear, the Governor of Akwa Ibom should recognise and reward this family because they are looking out for their daughter, the community and the entire state at large by resisting this treacherous move from an Afonja. If they allow him to marry their daughter, the Afonja man will end up betraying them, their community, the entire state and all of South South on the long run |
Lol Akwa Ibom sef no want Afonja in their midst but here they tell us the whole world loves them and detest Great Ndigbo. E shock una?
|
Afam4eva:Honestly, I am feeling very sorry for Peter Obi. After all his smartness. I just sat down at my spare time and thought about this thing. I imagined in the next ten years, how the previous governors of Anambra State or the state development will be remembered and realized that Peter Obi's name won't be mentioned, that Peter Obi's name will die with us that witnessed his governance and felt sad for the man. You know the next generation that didn't witness any of them will only remember those they see their projects just like the way we remember the military regime for Onitsha flyover. But who could have thought this, that Obiano of all people could pull this stunt. As of now it looks as if he is the only Governor Anambra has ever had. |
Chai. I hate this news. But why the excess pictures? Is it because of girls or what? When Lokonga was signed by Arsenal, you people posted one picture here but una don see fine boy come post seven picture in a forum where the limit is 4. Una wan make feminists kill themselves with dildos toady? |
Let us tell ourselves the truth. If Obiano manages to finish this Airport, he will be the only Anambra governor his name will stand the test of time. Peter Obi won't even come close to his record because everything Peter Obi did are already being forgotten but Obiano's legacies will stand the test of time. Peter Obi's legacy are already make belief story because nobody is seeing anything again. The roads will be reconstructed because they have started wearing off but Obiano's own is going to be visible for decades to come. In summary, make your effort wort it. Peter Obi might be smarter but Obiano is now a legend compared to him. I pity Peter Obi. In the next 50 years or after Nigeria, when people talk about Anambra state and her governors, the only name that will be easy to remember will be Obiano because when the question "what did they do during their tenure" other governors record will be on grammar because the roads they did have already been reconstructed, agencies changed and others removed but this Airport can only be maintained or upgraded and forever be remembered as what The people of old Anambra state got from their governor during the governors era. Peter Obi no just get sense. For a smart man, how come he didn't think of something like this? To tell ourselves the truth, if Peter Obi's political career ends today, it will be as if he never existed. No visible legacy, Nothing. |
jimyjames:It happened in 1951 na. Its not that far. Dennis Osadebay coined the term Anioma in 1951 on his own without anybodys consent. So such couldn't be a basis for Ika to drag the good people of Enuani into their personal slavery. Asaba, Ogwashi-Ukwu Nri, Akwukwu-Igbo and the rest have always been known as Enuani from time Immemorial. So Ika should enjoy and maintain their slavery in peace |
englishmart:You nailed it. When I was doing NYSC, the Northern locals said such about us. Something that didn't sit well with our 4 - 5ft Yoruba colleagues. We are the prototype of Black race. God noticed his mistake after creating Black people so he took his time in making Igbo people in a bid to redeem himself. |
jimyjames:Nna, I want to give this saga time to germinate before interfering. There was a time Ika people, Ikwerre, Ọgba, Ekpeye and Omuma trended that they are Bini. That they come from Bini royal lineage through one run away Prince or the other but the Oba of Bini and Bini Court made it clear to them that none of their Prince were missing but they didn't get the hint. They attacked their kins all because of the omen surrounding Ndigbo after the War. Now, Bini and recently Mr Omokri have come out to prove that they were super power in the ancient time. To show visible proof of their subjugated/conquered people, they are now saying that they once conquered the afamed unconquerable which is the Igbo people. To give visible proof of it, they want to point out their slaves. Who did they point at? The same Self hating Igbo that said they are from Bini. That is the same Ika, Ikwerre, Omuma and Ekpeye In as much as it is logical because the self hating igbo claimed to be under Bini but the circumstances of their position in the empire is not acceptable in the Royal Court. They claim to be offsprings of Bini Prince but now they are being told otherwise, that they are slaves not royalty. The bad thing here is that the Bini and Itsekiri are dragging the entire Anioma into this nonsense forgetting that it is only Ika that wants to be enslaved. Anioma was formed in 1951 so the Bini/Itsekiri should point towards Ika and leave the good people of Enuani alone |
Meninmen:The one we took under a day |
Meninmen:And we took the whole of Bini under a day in 1967. You people are either part of our vassal states or that of the Fulani as a conquered property. Whenever Nigeria wants to break, we will decide the owner between us and the Fulani. I am speaking modern recorded history here not fairly tales |
"E rituo onye nganga..." Whatever we do, we should not allow these vultures turn us to the next Niger Delta. No matter how stupid we are, we shouldn't cede our future to some people with no vision all in the name to be prided as the engine that runs the Contraption. Niger Delta prided themselves as such for 5 decades but what did it get them? Nothing. Absolutely Nothing. There is a reason you don't see Yenegoa skyline here despite beingtge capital of one of the oil blocks in Nigeria. Port Harcourt is a shadow of itself. Warri and Sapele are ghetto representatives. Uyo is just main road, Calabar has turned to where civil servants become celebrities. Ndigbo, open your eyes. |
gregyboy:Who is Olivia Acquino? |
A Great man. The whole world, especially Saudi Arabia will mourn him |
gregyboy:They no born Bini well to step foot into Onitsha or anything past Ika territory. They know where there stupidity can be tolerated. You people always scream about the caste system in Igboland but today you all forgot it and are now trying to portray as if Ndigbo were weak before. You know the slave caste in Igboland and most of them were Bini, Oru people and Igala. |
Maybe the Hyena wants to make Isi Zebra pepper soup with it. You can never tell how much these animals have evolved |
Reno Omokri don turn to Igbo historian, acheaologist and resident consultant on Igbo affairs because IPOB members refused to be used by him after Nnamdi Kanu was removed from the way. I warned IPOB people before but they didn't listen. Because someone praise you doesn't mean the person likes you. Now see what is happening |
Etinosa1234:Bini is the evolved name of the invaders that besieged the Igbo clan of Idu (Igodomigodo) |

For continuity sake Obi brought in Obiano to continue the building of Anambra. Thankfully, Obiano didn't abandon the projects started by Obi.
