Health › Beware Of Fibroids Scam by BKings(op): 2:27pm On Oct 30, 2025 |
There’s this one WE-CARE PATH company who claim to sell 100% natural medicines (fibguard and fibroid flush) for fibroids, promising quick melting and shrinking of fibroids. They copied pictures from different sites and put it on their website, making it look like it’s a true before and after treatment photos. There’s also non existing address they sent to me when I requested for their address. I sent someone there and after travelling for hours, the address was not found and the person when contacted claimed he/she is not around. They only put online form and account details online and I don’t know how many people who have fallen for this and lost money. |

freeman67: Is been a while I have done TB but with the knowledge of what I used to do. I will say the contents of this your post is actually what first bank's TB certificate of investment contains.
However, your worries are germaine. Usually, after this; (Your faithfully For: First Bank of Nigeria) There is always an (authorised Signatory column above which the signature of the officer (s) assigned with the responsibility signs) in majority of the branches, it will carry 2 signatories one on the left and another on the right but some branches will carry only one. Also, some branches will Stamp it with a stamp that has inscriptions like;Team Lead Finance or that bears the name of the branch, some will also go as far as affixing postage stamp on it while others will not bother putting any stamp but in all thereis always a signature for the bank.
Also, they always print two copy and ask you to write original collected by me on the duplicate that will be left with them.
You should have asked them why the document was not signed by their any of their rep. That's not normal. They must be at least a signature. But does it mean that after your money has been debited for the tb, your account statement would not show it , just curious. |

whodeyhere: Hello,
tbh, I can't say for sure for EA, but I have read here where people complain vetasses reduced their work exp. I believe there is no reason for EA to reduce your work experience if you are able to prove beyond doubt by supplying evidences like ref letter, tax cert, pension stmt etc for the years. Thanks my brother |

Thanks bro. Is the tax number same as social benefit number? That's what I have and when I input it into the website I see my pics, name and address but no tax statement to print. |

Good evening everyone and happy new year.
I have a challange with tax certificate. Who knows how I can get my tax clearance certificate from lagos state government, I don't have them from 2013 and I have been paying and my pay slips are available for a proof. I told my company and they said next quarter they will start applying for it. That will be too far for me. |

luvluvluv: Good evening everyone. It's almost yr end and would like to thank everyone who has genuinely of help in this race. So much tnx to u all. I know 2019 holds good things for us in Jesus name. Amen!
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO USE THIS MEDIUM TO BRING TO UR NOTICE A SCAM AMONG US. HIS NAME IS AKACHUKWU. Hi luvluvluv, I am also a busy person but I decided to do it myself. When I discussed with him also, he offered to write for me for a price. It's not like I didnt have the money he charged but you see, I will not feel fulfilled if someone should do that for me because I am the one with the experience. I'd rather write myself and look for someone that will review it for me afterwards. Cutting corners on things like this is not cool with me. Sorry about that, pull yourself together and face your fears. Thanks though for putting this up, it will help others stay away from trouble and do things for themselves. |

Cottyekundayo: PTE eliminates the human factor that comes with IELTS. The part that doesn't really count on the IELTS is your listening and reading cos the answers are quite straightforward except in rare cases where you just need make sense with your answer. Your speaking and writing depends on who is marking also. While you may feel you have done well the reader or whoever is listening to your speech may feel like "you be learner".
However with PTE... I think it's an algorithm. So the system and test was developed based on "if then else" (programming). So what I tell people going for the test is... You are out to beat the system; usually by including key words in the relevant task(s). My first IELTS attempt was a 7.5 and my friend mentioned to me... "If you take the PTE... You gonna smash a 90", lo and behold I smash smasher smashest.
Just practice. You go fine! Chai. I wish this exam can be taken for someone I for say make you help me. I didn't even score 79 in any of the bands. My highest was 69. I will kukuma manage it for my assessment till I'm ready for more points |

akari01: BKings,
Reference letter is highly important. Yes, they do take the format seriously. They would always make reference to Page 28 of the MSA Booklet. Interestingly, Page 28 has 2 options of documents required. You either have Reference letter with all their requirements included (Option A) or you have Reference letter with exact period of employment and endorsed along with your employment letter which would contain other requirements (Option B) Please be guided by these. Oh! Thanks my brother, I appreciate this |

Techengine: My friend Bnimz has always wanted me to leave Nigeria/Africa since he was in the UK but I didn’t take him seriously until sometimes in August 2018 when he told me that he’s now a permanent residence in Aussie. My brain opened immediately. He gave me options of studies, Canada and Australia and because I was desperate to leave, I started working on all the options. My first Ielts (LRSW 8,8,7.5,6.5) was in September 2017. I did Academis because I thought I could use it for the three options but the result could only work for school. I got engaged the same month and dropped the idea of school because I was not ready to leave my babe behind. I worked on my CDR and paid for Engineer Australia Assessment (Fast Track) with materials and guidance from Bnimz and my babe as proofreader in November 2017. I did my best on the CDR and was expecting a direct positive assessment. Also with counsel from Bnimz, I paid for PTE and was preparing. I got late to the exam hall for my first PTE and was not allowed to take the test. 52k wasted. I almost wet my trouser with wee wee. I gathered another 52k and paid for another PTE the following week. The result was terrible. The same week I got the result, I was contacted by my CO from EA and he requested for two additional CDRs. I literarily gave up at that time. Nothing seems to be working. I gathered courage again in January and decided to prepare for IELTS because it appeared simpler to me. I wrote 2 more CDRs and submitted (not expecting anything good). I got positive assessment from EA on lovers day 14th February 2018. It rekindled my hope again in Australia but I was more focused on Canada. My second IELTS was in April 2018 (this one pain me enhh). I had LRSW 8.5, 8.5, 8, 6.5. I almost ran mad. I was never good at English, especially writing but I thought I prepared well. I was sure my marked would increase so I sharply requested for remark (na IDP so it cost 45k). Painfully dem chop my 45k laidat. I cried liked David of the bible and encouraged myself in the Lord. I registered for another IELTS immediately and got May 12. I need a new paragraph for this story… I didn’t mention all along that I’m working in Ghana and have to travel to Nigeria by road (as I no get money for flight nko) to take all of those exams. IDP did not fix date for my speaking until less that 24 hours before the test and I was in Ghana. I had to beg my boss and colleague to cover for me and travel that very night (night bus). I got to Ikeja around 11am or so and was given just 10 minutes to rest before going in for my test. I sha did the speaking test with a very tired voice and forced smile. Shebi it remain LRW laidat. It was May 12 and it was a bad day devil drink water (Yoruba people will understand). I got to the exam hall as early as 7am and the exam didn’t start till about 10:30am. Meanwhile I spent most of the time standing on queue. I was already tired when I entered the exam hall. We couldn’t start with listening because their speaker no dey work properly. They sha forced us to start with reading after which we did writing because the speaker was not ready. About 12pm when we wanted to do listening finally, rain started falling so we had to wait for rain to stop. No food lataaro, everyone was tired and agitated. In fact a pregnant woman passed out while we were waiting and was rushed to the hospital. We sha later did the rubbish listening like that and I was sure I wont get up to 8 because the speaker still didn’t work properly. I cried at Ojota bus stop that night because I thought I’ve wasted another 68k. But the miracle working God I served stepped in and helped me. I had LRSW 7.5, 9, 8.5, 7. Ni 10 point ba pe. I didn’t know much about 489 so I begged for help on nairaland and god sent an angel, IFUNNAYA. She introduced me to this wonderful group. Spongbob was beyond helpful. He gave me all the things I needed to apply and encouraged me all the way. I applied on 11th of June. I quickly organized a small registry wedding with my babe on 5th of July and was nominated on 23rd of July. Lodged visa on 15th august and medicals 20th August. With prayers and a lot of prayers, We got direct grant yesterday 7th August 2018 and IED is 20th August 2019. I hope my story will help/inspire someone. PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP. If I could do it, YOU, yes you too can do it Wow! Congrats bro. God will prosper you in the land wither thou goest. |

akari01: Hello, From my xp with EA, I'll advise you get tax certificate for all those employment period. EA takes only tax & pension evidences serious. Don't bother about payslips and bank statements with them. Dear Atari, how about reference letter? Though bellong has told me before that it's important but from EA point of view, do they take the format so serious, like employer listing all my JDs on the reference letter? I'm asking because of the nature of the coy I'm working with. My HRM wouldn't have such time. Anything more than "Mr Bkings is an employee of XYZ organisation..bla..bla..bla...pls according him the necessary attention" might be like asking for too much. Again, I have just 5 years experience on the same job role but on different coys. Company A has gone under and no reference letter, what would I do? |
Skill employment met date are usually counted from the year indicated on certificate.
You can claim experience from 2010 but am certain that EA/DHA will only recognize/approve from year of your graduation in this scenario which is 2011 (the month stated on the cert is also considered). Thanks Alphadoor. So they won't even consider the transcript? |

bellong: This is a tight one. I am not completely sure but I reckon that the date of completion on the certificate will be taken as completed.
Maybe someone who has been in similar situation can clarify.
However, if there is none to clarify, I think it is safe to go with the date on the certificate. If question is asked about the disparity, you can then explain.
You can still add those years of experience from when you finish though. Let the assessing authority figure out what to leave for you. Thanks bro, I appreciate. Please house who can add me up on pte forum, I need to register |

bellong: Diploma.. 10 points.
What happened between 2008 and 2011?
Did the certificate spell it out that you graduated in 2011? Thanks bellong. The certificate says "in satisfactory completion of the course and other requirements in 2011 as prescribed by the university" so I guess yes. Within that period I picked up a job to raise money to pay balance of my school fees and do my clearance. I did it till 2012 I went for service |

Sir bellong o, please I need a little clarification to this issue. I finished in 2008 but did my clearance in 2011 and went for service 2012. As a result, my statement of result and certificate bears 2011 but my transcript says 2008/2009. Will this pose an issue with EA or DHA as I want to claim work experience from 2010? Please great people kindly help me out here |
