Contrary to what everyone here is saying, this is likely perfectly normal. I was in very similar predicament few months back, but I'm totally on-point now.

Do you never ever have erections? Or they're usually just not hard enough? Or only during intercourse your tool seem to fail.

1. If your erections aren't hard enough, it means you self-gratify a lot. Don't masturbate for about 2 weeks, and your tool should reset to its peak performance. By your 7th day, it will be getting hard to anything in a skirt.
No need to stop masturbation permanently. That is inconsequential as it is impractical.

2. Another big problem might be in your head.
I am guessing after your first disappointment, when its time for sex you get nervous and start thinking about it. As a consequence you aren't in the moment and you lose the sensitivity, which prevents you from having an erection.
You look at your dick and think "OMG! IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN!", this then starts you on a downward spiral of nervousness.
Its probably hard to overcome the psychology, but my advice is to abstain from ejaculation at least 10 days prior to your next sex, so you can be at your peak sensitivity. Also you can try to go get a drink immediately before sex. Drink a bit (not excess), enough to distract your mind and reaffirm your confidence.
Please don't get drunk or it will dissapoint you even more. A bottle of orijin or a can of bullet is enough if you're not a light head.

3. Be cautious of your masturbation practices. Do you masturbate with a flaccid dick? Abstain from that. When you masturbate make sure you have a full hard-on. If you stroke your dick when you jack off, emulating the movement of the vagina on it, even better.

4. Make sure you're not stressed before sex, or your dick will take its rest.


Unless you never ever have an erection, you're perfectly fine. Its just a problem of psychology and habit. Take the above precautions, eat healthy, excercise your body, abstain from smoking, excess drinking and anything that affects your heart, and you'll be fine.

If you never ever get an erection (which i doubt is the case) you should forget this nairalanders and seek professional medical help.

If they're gonna give you to post it then doesn't matter who it's addressed to.

If they're posting it for you, then address it to an address where you can easily retrieve it.

That was the only available date as at the time I booked a date, I'm hoping my sponsor will come through this week, that's the miracle I'm hoping for, he's sorting us his papers first. It was his delay that caused me the setback, I didn't want to go again as at yesterday morning, things just changed and I felt I should give it a try

Dates often open at about 11pm - 12am. If you had seeked advice earlier you would have been properly guided here. The best course of action would have been to postpone your appointment date before 1 week to appointment (unless you had a reason to be in a rush). I also was set for January 9th, but I postponed to January 24th.
Also you should have secured the courier envelope yesterday.

Anyway the deed has been done, just try secure the courier envelope in the morning (I read it can be done somewhere close to the embassy).

Also if there are queries about your finance, explain your case to the VO. Let them know that your sponsor is already trying to secure the letter. If there are any documents to prove this or possibly email correspondence, I advice you to take it along to show good faith.

Let them know that there were limited (and fleeting) appointment dates, so it was a bit difficult to find another date that suites your deadline (if your resumption deadline is sooner than later).

Ofcourse none of these is a guarantee, it's just a suggestion.
Anyone with other ideas should chip in.

In the Visa Requirements list they mentioned passport pictures according to biometric specifications and prepaid courier envelope.

1. What is the biometric specification?
2. What are the details of the courier envelope? Should it be addressed (to whom)? And about how much should it cost @DHL/FedEx?

And the former (@diplolagos) will always inform you that there's no appointment booking for this passport number (as confirmed by applicants on this thread).

Yeah I used same email and passport without any issues. I mailed the embassy to confirm there are no complications. Will wait to see their response.

Yes. I sent a mail to embassy today about it and their response was that it was booked and cancelled. That they have no influence on the system and that system will not allow to apply till 3 weeks after appointment.

Why the three weeks deadline? I have been re-booking with no issues. Did you miss the one week deadline?

Brother, go through your email. Find the appointment confirmation email they sent to you and try re-canceling.
