It's not that straight-forward . . . if the government puts a hard stop on fuel subsidies, I give them 2 weeks, there would be riots all over Nigeria. When diesel hit NGN700+, a lot of banks cut back on working hours, while Sterling Bank's HQ was converted to run 100% on solar. PMS is more expensive than AGO on the international market, so even without corruption, its gonna easily hit NGN650+ per litre. The major reason we are having this conversation about removing subsidy is that Nigeria can barely afford it anymore, but even at that, its going to be very very difficult for the vast majority.

You can't force 2023 election to be between Atiku and Tinubu, when Tinubu is not visibly in the race. The race is obviously between Obi and Atiku.

Of 36 states, Obi is only sure of getting 25% in at most 14 states (5 SE, 6 SS, Lagos, Abuja); He is nowhere in this race, and both He and Datti know this - Datti is barely even campaigning up north. The race is still between Atiku and Tinubu.

SW: PO by 18% (Asides Lagos, I just dont see PO doing well in say major towns like Ondo town, Akure, Iseyin, Ogbomoso, Oyo town, Ile Ife etc)
NC: PO by 20% (Asides Plateau, Benue and Taraba, the rest NC states like Kwara, Kogi and Niger are not swaying to PO; of the 3 states He would get, He would still have to battle with APC & PDP)
NW: PO by 12% (Very limited chances for PO)
NE: PO by 8% (Very limited chances for PO)

At best , PO would get the needed 25% in 15 states (6 in SS, 5 in SE, 3 in NC, maybe 1 in SW) - far shy of the 25 states needed. Thus far, PO's VP looks like a lightweight up-north - I don't see him having the kind of sway Okowa can pull in the SS, or Shettima can pull in the NE.

The battle is ultimately between AA and BAT. While Atiku would be facing a major challenge from the Wike camp, He is still very capable of a last minute upset . . . but it would be tough.

The biggest hurricane might swing Atiku's or Obi's favour few weeks to election. I'm indifferent about who wins the presidency, but comments like this indicate that Nigerians don't really understand or even like democracy if its not on their own terms, otherwise:
- Why would anyone justify the use of thugs whether in Lagos, Oyo, Edo or Rivers in threatening political opponents?
- Why would anyone justify what Wike is doing to intimidate and assault supporters of Atiku in Rivers?
- Why would anyone justify Obaseki not allowing lawfully elected law-makers from assuming their posts in Edo?
- Why would anyone justify Buhari ignoring numerous court judgements cos He doesn't like the ruling?

Paternity isn't only by resemblance the boy may look like his mum. It is confirmed by DNA test. If sanwolu was in that location in 1994 and had a relationship with any woman them he should do the DNA test.

Think about it . . . a random person shows up 30 years afterwards, claiming you are his father, and mandating you submit your DNA . . . He has shown no proof that you ever met with his mother, and yet wants to forcibly invade your privacy to submit DNA material that could be used for other purposes even in the future . . . would you readily submit yourself?
