This is a well articulated submission. Only few pundits like you would read between the lines to glean that Tinubu understands the power game better than anyone else. After Buhari, the next politician with clout and a strong network in present-day Nigeria is Tinubu, not Atiku, not Wike, not Saraki. If people think Tinubu had no input in the ouster of the NWC, then they really don't understand the chemistry between Tinubu and Buhari.

Danfulani and Kperogii need to understand that the best way to edge Tinubu from Nigerian politics is to edge him out from southwest politics not from national politics. So long as Tinubu still controls southwest politics, he'd be a factor in determining Buhari's successor.

Unfortunately SW alone can't give him presidency.
And the north can simply leave him and re align with the SE and SS.
So as you see his only hope is to make peace with CPC and see if he can scheme through but without the president's backing in the Nigerian political sphere he'll be fighting the greatest political battle of his career

The All Progressives Congress has dissolved its National Working Committee.

The decision was reached at the National Executive Council meeting held on Thursday.

Bashir Ahmad, an aide to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), tweeted, “Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.”
