Ikot abasi does not in any way block Andoni local government and Eastern Obolo.
The Oros and Obolos and Ibunos have the right to agitate for their own state as long as they get more organised and agree on a name and their representatives do it the right way. stop blabbing because it doesn't favour you. Your akwa ibom was once an agitation as well, despite an akwa ibom man being governor in the then Cross river state. Who care about governorship when you can have your own state . Also this state would even be more viable than Akwa ibom.
In igboland Anioma state and Njaba state will be more viable than Adada state . Do not speak for those others who want their own independence because only them know where the shoe pinches.

Ibeno is not ibibio man. the portion containing ibibio is not included in the map. Ibeno majority are Obolo or Andoni .
Andoni is another name for Obolo. so in Rivers there 's Andoni local government and in Akwa ibom there's Eastern Obolo. nothing like Western Obolo.
who would prefer governorship over having their own state ? all the states that split before , was there no governors from those areas that split?

as for the name ,I think a neutral name should be chosen like Atlantic state or Orobolo state because Obolo state doesn't fly with Oron and Oron state doesn't fly with Obolo.

Eyeneka,understand me.you know how our people exaggerate.perhaps,everywhere they enter in that state,poverty greeted them so they just inputed any number.but normally,zamfara,katsina,sokoto,yobe,borno,jigawa have a 90% poverty rate.
Zamfara has about 5 million people and about 4 million should be poor.this one is not party issue,akwa cross no poor reach that level
