Some of you are so emotional. I am a Niger-Deltan and we are not interested in secession. At least not at this time. A PDP Yoruba wrote a PDP manisfesto and you won't allow us to rest. If you are honest, you will admit that Buhari has performed better than GEJ. Fulani domination did not start with Buhari. If Atiku was elected would Fulani domination end? Is Atiku not Fulani? Would he not hand over most of the security infrastructure to Northerners? Fulani herdsmen killing were going on under GEJ and he (just like Buhari) did nothing about it. Lets be honest in our submission. Anything built on lies will come crashing down
On behalf of the real Niger Deltans we reject you and donate you to the sokoto caliphate for this rubbish epistle. Why won't be interested in secession when we are being given only 13% of what God has blessed us with? I don't even want to talk about FG appointment and security parastatal in the country. Now to say Buhari has performed better than Jonathan then only the gods and ancestors of the Niger Delta will forgive you. Before 2015 who knew miyetti Allah?
When did they have a say? Wasn't yaradua Fulani too? Why wasn't he so myopic and nepotic like the dullard we have in aso rock rn. Has even one herdsman been arrested and confirmed persecuted? No reason am oboi, if you want to remain in Nigeria good, the day we declare Niger Delta republic we expect you to move your belongings to sokoto and remain there, traitors like you should follow suit. Let me put it across to you, the second best thing to do in this country is regionalization and restructuring, then the best thing that will ever happen is to dissolve this country into Niger Delta, Arewa,Biafra and middle belt republics. Don't preach rubbish unity to me, I am an ibibio man and before the arrival of the British and lugard my ancestors never knew anyone north of the river Niger and benue after the igbos and the binis, so why is it compulsory to remain in this contraption, secession is an option for the Niger Delta, if u don't like it relocate when the time comes. And let me add. No country in the world has over 200 ethnic groups and is split 50/50 across Muslim and Christian religion and has succeeded, Nigeria was destined to be in comatose, check around the world, the best countries are either United by ethnicity or religion, peep UK, USA, Canada, UAE,kwait,China, Japan, Brazil, Singapore, etc. They all have a majority religion of atleast 80% to gum different ethnicities together or they are made of atleast 60% of one dominant group. Nigeria is like a mosaic it can't reach those heights

Buhari lost then cause, some part of the North were giving their support to Obasanjo and Yar'adua. Remember, the North was and is still the majority in PDP. Buhari was in an oposition party. As at then, the North has more Governors in the PDP. The North Wass the reason why, Obasanjo and Yar'adua won.

Never underestimate the North.
Ask Wike and all other powerful politicians in the South South. They know better
You're talking nonesense. Buhari always worn the core north with or without PDP governor's and that never gave him presidency, the only reason he won in 2015 is because the middle belt and SW accepted him. Keep masturbating over nonsense.

Iran keeps disappointing me, I've been waiting for them to show USA what they are made of and bring down her puffed shoulders.

What type of fvckery is this?

Well, unless this is a tactic to make USA falsely believe that Iran is at their mercy.
Because even the dumbest of the dumbs know that Iran can decipher even the most encrypted blackest of all black boxes.

Even if they can't which is almost impossible to fathom; there's Russia nearby to help, China too.
So it makes no sense.

Trump's only saving grace is that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is no more the President of Iran.
He would have long known the difference between Akamu oka and Akamu Dawa.
The Iranians have backed down and are looking for a way to pally with US. You are here urging them to go into a conflict that they won't win with a crippled economy hit by US sanction's already. You've shown to us that you're just a US hater and nothing more, I pray if war starts you and your family will be the first to be drafted into the Iranian military to fight since u want war, rubbish

Watch how northern monickers are on the rise on NL since this Amotekun issue, some even go as far as claiming they're igbos and yorubas.

Whenever these two regions are close to agreeing on something, the North always finds a way to grab the attention of one of them through political means like electoral positions.

Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, has said that he is not disturbed over whether ‘Operation Amotekun’ may affect his chances of getting a second term in office.

Akeredolu, who is Chairman of South West Governors Forum, said he was only on the path of national cohesion with the collaborative internal security by the formation of Amotekun and not for any political ambition.

In a statement by his spokesman, Donald Ojogo, the Ondo State governor said that he will not be discouraged by the de-marketing of the regional security outfit aimed at addressing the daunting security challenges in the South-West.

He said, “In the case of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) of Ondo State, it is pertinent to state that he is not perturbed by the possible consequences of leading governors of the South-West in the formation of Amotekun.

“In particular, fears and apprehension have been expressed in many quarters that his role in the formation of Amotekun could affect his second term chances.

“This is far from the truth because Governor Akeredolu is on the path of national cohesion through collaborative internal security.

“The decision taken in respect of Amotekun was in the interest of the entire country and not the South-West alone.

“The political insinuations and blackmail are the required ingredients needed to make it credible. But such will not discourage the governor in any manner.”

It is more complex than that bro. In the north-west, Hausas are Fulanis and Fulanis are Hausas reasons you hear Hausa-Fulani on tv and the print media. 200 plus years of intermarriage and common Hausa language has created an hybrid group who inseparable brothers in tongue and religion
What kind of hybrid group where one subjugates the other, so you mean not even one hausa man is fit to be an emir, not even one?. The fulani came as Invaders, read up the fulani war and see what happened, it didn't start of as neighbors freely inter marrying till they become one bro

What is the situation with the hausas in the north? Are they now a conquered tribe?, A silent one? Or just ruthlessly oppressed by the fulani?

Growing up, I was taught in school that the major tribes in Nigeria are the yoruba, igbo and hausa. But after a while the term hausa/fulani started to pop up everywhere on the media and now it's just fulani with very little mention of hausa in any important national discussion.

My understanding is that the hausas still vastly outnumber the fulani in the north but are there still hausas in any significant position of power in there or has the fulani taken over every power structure there is. If so, who are this hausas?

I don't know too much about this topic, never travelled past Abuja while I was in naija and can't find enough resources on the internet.

Your inputs will be very much appreciated
Yes they are a conquered people who have developed Stockholm syndrome with their conquerors. It's quite sad. No single Emir in the north is hausa, all are fulanis .
