HealthI Need Ur Help Pls by blackmann(op): 3:25am On Apr 22, 2009
Peeps i need some advice on the level at which my hunger goes and the way i eat. i usually eat about 3 times daily which i feel is noirmal, but those cravings for tidbits in between meals is what i dont understand. like this morning, i ate some food b4 i left home, but on getting to skool around 1, i had to grab a cup of coffee and a cookie. later around 5, i went to grab a chicken, beef, lettuce and tomato sandwitch with a cup of orange juice.

i don't know whether these foods are good for a person's system. i go to the gym to work out, but for the past one week, i've not been able to go due to my tight schedule in skool. besides,, the food here is unlike what we have in nigeria, mostly junk food is what i get to eat most of the time i don't cook at home.

i've decided to be eating from home, but how do i handle all the afternoon hunger pangs? i had initially decided to leave my money at home, but anything may happen along the way where one might need money. please i need ur advice, any nutritionist out there.
FoodRe: Abeg O! I Don Tire For Yanki Food by blackmann(m): 1:18am On Apr 22, 2009
i kind of agree withthe original poster, but not fully. Ever since i stepped into the country, i've not seen any place where i can get some food I AM USED TO. mostly have so many eateries where they sell junk food, and i'm not used to the chinese cuisine. i usually just eat from home and grab a coffee nd cookie during the day to hold my hunger, but i'm mostly tempted to eat the food. one day i'll drive out and look for a decent restaurant.
PoliticsRe: How Did You Get Fuel Today? by blackmann(m): 9:52pm On Apr 20, 2009
I believe what caused this crisis was the fact that some petrol tankers were siezed in ogere for discriminate parking(about 50 of them i heard). they were told to pay 3,000 naira each to release their tankers, but the tanker drivers refused and supported their colleagues by embarking on a strike. thats what i heard anyway.

So long as she doesn't take the nymphomanianism beyond the walls of our home, and doesn't demand from another person, then its my duty to quel the fires of nympomaianism in her anytime the call becons.

HealthRe: I Pass Urine Almost Every Hour by blackmann(m): 8:27pm On Apr 15, 2009
Left to me, it depends on how much liquids u take in and how much u sweat. In cool areas, one does not sweat much and as such, the water meant to have evaporated through sweat stores in the bladder as urine. happens alot to me and i know i don't have diabetes. this might be one reason too.

TV/MoviesMadonna by blackmann(op): 1:38pm On Apr 15, 2009
Since i was a kid, i envisioned Madonna, the popular singer, as a porn star, but recently, it occred to me to check up her biography on the Internet, and it wasn't mentioned anywhere that she acted in the porn nindustry. except for a few films(The body of evidence, for example), where she acted as a seductive rich lady, with the scenes there, i didn't find any other films she acted(except for the popular sex tape she made that was leaked, but so many actresses had their fare share of such sexed-up publicity, ask Pamela Anderson).

now my question - was Madonna a porn-star?

Ex-Gov Turaki to be Flown to Germany
•37 die in road accidents
From Hammed Shittu in Ilorin with agency report, 04.14.2009

President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua has approved foreign treatment for former governor of Jigawa State and serving Senator, Alhaji Saminu Turaki, who was involved in a road accident on Saturday.
Turaki was on his way from Kebbi, where he had gone for a wedding, when his SUV, a Hummer, reportedly veered off the road and somersaulted, leading to his sustaining multiple injuries and fracturing an arm.
THISDAY reported yesterday that he was at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital, Abuja.
It was gathered last night that the former governor, who is said to be in stable condition now, would be flown to an undisclosed hospital in Germany for specialist attention.
“He is talking now and can recognise people, but his arms hurts,” a source told THISDAY last night. “Graciously, the President has approved that he be taken abroad for treatment.”
Turaki had intended to travel to Singapore for treatment but the President was said to have preferred Germany because of the country’s expertise in treating accident injuries.
Turaki had been flown in from Sokoto Airport to the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, where he was received by a medical team, including Dr. David Ukoha, Personal Doctor to the Senate President, Senator David Mark.
Meanwhile, 37 people lost their lives in separate road accidents in Bode Saadu, Kwara State, and Dungun-Ma'azu village, along Funtua-Dandume road in Katsina State on Sunday.
In Bode Saadu, two buses were said to have had a head-on collision, which resulted in the death of 24 people, while another 10 are on danger list in hospitals in Jebba.
According to a witness, the two buses – one going from the Southern part of the country to the North, while the other was coming from the north to the south – collided while trying to avoid a motorcyclist who suddenly crossed the main road.
The witness said the motorcyclist later fled the scene of the accident.
He said people from the town, after the accident, informed officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Jebba Unit Command.
The FRSC officials, who quickly responded to the distress call, organized the movement of the injured to various hospitals in Jebba metropolis, while the dead were taken to mortuaries in the town.
Contacted yesterday, a senior officer of the FRSC, Kwara State Sector Command asked the relatives of those who travelled last Sunday along the road to check the hospitals in Jebba.
On the Dungun-Ma'azu village along Funtua-Dandume road accident in Katsina State, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) gathered that the victims were returning home after attending a marriage ceremony in Minna, Niger State.
Witnesses said the vehicle, conveying the victims had a tyre burst, which resulted in the driver losing control of the vehicle and the eventual crashing of the vehicle resulting in the death of the 13 occupants, who included women and children.
Only the driver and his conductor were said to have survived.
Speaking to newsmen, Malam Abdulbasir Kafinta, who lost a wife and daughter, described the incident as an act from Allah.
Efforts to get the reaction of both the police and the FRSC were not successful as they did not respond to calls made by NAN.
Six persons had also lost their lives in another auto accident on Saturday in Malumfashi, Katsina State.
The victims were being transported in a truck loaded with wheat flour when the driver lost control and headed into a bush.
More than 60 persons were said to be on the truck coming to the North from Lagos, and some of the injured are now on admission at Malumfashi General Hospital.

HealthAdvocation For The Use Of Drugs: Does It Make Sense? by blackmann(op): 12:57pm On Apr 13, 2009
Just heard on the news that some people are advocating on the legalisation on the use of drugs(heroin, cocaine, etc) by the public. I begin to wonder who are the backward ones - Nigerians or the Americans(no pun intended). First, it was homosexualism, then lesbianism, it went further to advocation of gay and same sex marriages, then some dumb idiots were trying to sue the airline that owned the plane that the pilot bravely and smartly landed in the Hudson river for killing the flock of geese.
I begin to wonder what sort of cul;ture they have. is it the way they think or what? like someone used to say, "irole aye la wa(we are at the dusk of life)".

IslamRe: Why Must The Muslims Pray Towards The East? by blackmann(m): 1:53am On Apr 10, 2009
its because the Kaabah is located towards the east. normally every muslim is meant to face the Qiblah when praying, and all muslims around the world do that. if u've noticed, in mecca while praying, all muslims face the qiblah, no matter what direction they are facing.

she doesn't love u and she has been sleeping in ur house? question - have u had sex with her yet? if u haven't, i suggest u stop inviting her, and let her be. on the other hand, she might just be playing the "catch me if u can, i'm not cheap" stunt all girls play when they like a guy.
