You forget these DC shows are not even part of the new Max shows? I know how many old marvel shows with shít VFX and plotline I can think of. MCU only started their TV universe this year.

DCEU is yet to start that. It's from next year, starting with Peacemaker. It's only then you can start judging VFX and all, since it begins the link up of movie and TV shows.

Did Daredevil have better VFX than Arrow? But it attracted positive buzz and a lot of fans didn't it?

I just finished watching Pennyworth season one finale and I must say that the show is one of the best comic book shows, the story is so engaging and keeps you at the edge of the seat.
It's a great show.

I can't give two fvcks about VFX. I just want a good show.

Pennyworth is amazing and it's a lot better than the overrated Marvel's FATWS.
VFX be damned.

Superman and Lois nko?
HBO Max collaborated with CW and delivered a great and relatable Superman show but no it's not good enough for some people because of the VFX which is not bad at all.

They want high budget kpish kpish, no problem.
Green Lantern show was given a heavy $100m+ budget, Justice league Dark is expected to be big budget as well, Peacemaker is almost done filming.
Make dem relax

As for me I just want to see a great show.

DC TV has done some very good shows.

Gotham
Pennyworth
Stargirl
Swamp thing
Doom patrol
Superman and Lois

Apart from the big budget MCU shows that started this year, how many Marvel shows are better than the aforementioned DC shows I listed?

No be everytime person go dey talk about CW like that's the only thing WB achieved with DC TV.

Infact WB have done a good job with their DC shows and they want to do better with their big budget shows coming next year and beyond.

They are doing well in that side, more power to them joor

This looks good. It's all about the execution sha

I don't know why this script reminds me of Xmen Days of Future Past, it was a time travel film with a good script. The story is not spectacular or groundbreaking but the execution was perfect.

It still ranks as one of the best Xmen films of all time for me.

The flash script is good. I like it. A good director can make a fastastic movie with this.
Like you said, it's all about execution.

I wouldn't change anything in that story, it looks okay

I like how James Gunn inserted this emotional string between Bloodspot and his daughter.

Remember he said don't get attached to any character. I think he's made Bloodspot the main guy, the one person you want to root for, care about and get attached to right from the first act.

That is why I believe that Bloodspot will be killed off in the third act, an emotional painful death cuz this is not a movie Gunn wants you to forget.

I noticed a kind of budding friendship between Bloodspot and Ratcatcher and then there's a scene in the third act with a teary eyed Ratcatcher.... Like she just lost someone.

Okay I'm talking too much

Take my plot theory with a grain of salt and enjoy the trailer

Did you know that the thing about Bloodspot attacking Superman with a kryptonite bullet is straight out of the comic books

First of all, I like to personally thank Disney for firing Gunn that time, hence paving way for WB to snap him up

Godamn what a trailer

This movie go funny die, this trailer is the best so far.

I hope James Gunn is a main stay in DCEU going forward, I like what he's doing with Suicide Squad.

Hopefully the movie will be successful and they will green lit sequels with Gunn at the helm.

This is the first time she found out but that time line didn't continue cuz Barry went back in time so things were undone.

Yes he's being bias but he wasn't afraid to say he didn't like the first Suicide Squad so there's that.

if it this scene then I don't see why I should even argue with u, cus it's clearly seen that flash went back in time, it was clear that a portal open and went back to a day or so before that event. By time reversal I mean to undo an event that has already occured instantaneously . And even in this scene we saw two flashes briefly.

In Zack's version we literally saw events being undone

Every movie goes through editing.
WB doesn't know how to do it. While they are editing, creating the final cut, I hope Matt Reeves vision for Batman will still be respected and represented in the film.

Shazam's new suit
This is so perfect. It looks much better than the last suit. The muscle padding in the last suit was too obvious but here you don't know if there is padding underneath or not.

This suit looks natural and fits Levi's body very well.

I guess they will use CGI cape this time and the lightning bolt looks smaller, I hope they keep the glow

This is old news but it's not very accurate.

He signed a new contract with WB to play Superman (cameo and supporting roles only) for Shazam and Black Adam sequels but there is no solo movie being prepared for him.

If Black Superman ends up being successful, you can kiss any hope for MOS2 goodbye.

It's good to hear that Andy is taking inspiration from Zack Snyder's take on Flash, not the wack boring hero Joss and WB gave us

Personally, I don't get flash's time travel in ZSJL either

Yes they didn't understand a basic reverse of time but they understood Nolan's extremely complex time travel in Tenet

Army of the dead was just action.

There are so many better zombie movies.

This movie is a rinse and repeat of Zack Snyder's remake of Dawn of the dead, albeit with a few differences.

A team goes to a location, location gets overrun with zombies, survivors escape with helicopter....then reveal at the end that the zombie nightmare is not over.

The only thing this movie adds is zombies with some intelligence (2 other zombie movies already tried this).

Army of the dead is cliche after cliche

1. INFESTED CITY TO BE NUKED ON A COUNTDOWN WHICH PUTS PRESSURE ON PROTAGONISTS- CHECK RESIDENT EVIL

2. ESCAPE ZOMBIES ON HELICOPTER- CHECK DAWN OF THE DEAD AND REAIDENT EVIL

3. TWO SURVIVORS OR AT LEAST 80% OF GOOD GUYS DIE. CHECK DAWN OF THE DEAD.

4. INTELLIGENT ZOMBIE HAS A BABE. CHECK I AM LEGEND

5. VILLAIN BETRAYS TEAM BECAUSE OF ULTERIOR MOTIVE. CHECK


The movie is just an average zombie movie.

In summary the movie is not groundbreaking or unique take for a zombie film but it did have every element you would expect to find in a typical zombie film, right?
