GracieX3:That girl didn't know for sure that the head of security betrayed her, maybe she was suspecting him but she never really saw him throw her off track. |
Tarvel:So there's 5 DC films coming out next year This is a big deal cuz WB have never released 3 DC films in one year like MCU does talk less of 5! Let's see if they can keep up the momentum after 2022 and actually stick to producing all those films they announced |
mosho2good:I got the comic book from zipcomic dot com Just go there and search "Invincible" But first you need to browse "Invincible comic book reading order" so you can follow the story well. |
Tolu181:I have read over a hundred issues of INVINCIBLE comic books in the past week and I just wish that darker and grittier superhero stories should get more TV and movie adaptations. The comic books is more interesting than the adaptation sef and very addictive too.

Marvel studios released a trailer to get fans hyped up for phase 4 Meanwhile at DC Warner Brothers released a 4k trailer of 2017 Justice league with the sole purpose of spiting Snyder Cut fans. The difference

100naira:The man that invested 1m received ten times his capital. While the man that invested 5m received only four times his capital. This thing is clear as crystal. This is about the most profitable not about which one made more money. Making four times your capital on a 5m investment doesn't mean your investment is more profitable than the guy that received ten times his capital on a 1m investment. The 5m investment made more money. But the 1m investment is more profitable. If you are a businessman which investment will you jump on.... The 1m that produced 10m or the 5m that produced 20m. The 1m investment is by far more profitable. It's not about the amount of money made, it's about the capital you put in to make that money. That is how the Joker tops Endgame when it comes to profitability. |
100naira:Let me put it this way... I invested 1m naira and got 10m naira. You invested 5m naira and received 20m. Which investment is more profitable? The 1m or 5m? Use your sense and answer the question. |
abduleez1:DC will keep playing catch up to Marvel. There's no cinematic shared universe for DC, it looks like it's just solo films for solo films sake. No big event to build hype and anticipation. That is why Marvel will keep winning. Every movie they make is connected and it's leading up to a much bigger movie or a major saga to be completed. Like what Marvel did with Infinity Saga. More than a dozen of their films were connected in such a way to lead up to that Infinity saga. I wasn't surprised when Captain Marvel did a billion dollars at the box office. Marvel fooled their fans into thinking that Captain Marvel was a major player in Endgame and all their fans trooped to cinemas because of it. Every Marvel film is connected to a much bigger storyline and that is why they keep getting big numbers, it's not like all their films are spectacular but they have found a way to capture the attention of the movie goer. DCEU or DC films is lacking that strategy now. For now they are just doing solo films for solo films sake. I can afford to skip Shazam and Birds of Prey and watch only WW84 and The Batman... Try doing that with Marvel. E go shock you as Matt Reeves Batman trilogy will just be a standalone thing with no connection to DCEU and other characters even with Multiverse and everything. We may never see another Justice League movie, even a relaunch like James Gunn did with SS, u no go see am with JL, that chapter has closed. They are using Multiverse to set up black superman and other solo films that not a single soul asked for. Marvel is setting up a Multiverse saga which started with Wandavision and will be connected to Doctor Strange 2, Try watching Doctor Strange 2 without seeing Wandavision and see how that works out for you. Snyderverse was WBs biggest opportunity at creating something as big and as attractive as Infinity Saga. But the stupid execs don't see the silver lining. They are blind and naive. A good exec will order an exclusive big budget HBO Max series or movies for Snyderverse. Take advantage of the hype and fantastic reception from fans and critics who are desperately asking for more and GIVE THEM MORE.... At the end of the day you will cashout plenty because high demand is already there. This is an excellent opportunity from a business perspective and it is stupid to turn it down. DC is competing with Star Wars for who will have the most clueless execs with no regard for fans. |
abduleez1:I see what JJ Abrams is trying to do.. He wants to give some characters in Justice League Dark a solo film or series as a way of introducing them before bringing them together for Justice League Dark series... I hear there's a Constantine show or movie in development and they are looking for a person of color that looks like a Riz Ahmed to play Constantine. Correct me if I'm wrong. |
SPOILER ALERT Thunder will fire Joss Whedon and the WB execs that removed the most epic Flash time travel scene ever.. ![]() That time travel was so cool and the visuals were stunning and they removed it from the 2017 movie. ![]() Ezra Miller's time travel is more like Doctor Strange's.... It looks like he simply reversed it by breaking the speed of light instead of going back a few minutes and doing the run thing over again. Very thoughtful of Zack Snyder.

Pirates are at it again... How they managed to get it early before the movie officially drops on HBO Max is what I don't understand. A friend of mine spent 7GB to download Snyder Cut from some website this evening. Is that not Lex Luthor I'm seeing in the second picture, a flashback to bvs I guess

IngeniousLeez:I can guess what the big news is all about. Henry Cavill has been cast as the next Wolverine. OR Henry Cavill has been cast as the next James Bond. MOS2 is just a figment of imagination. MOS2 is dead in the water. The black superman movie was the final nail in the coffin. Move on... |
Where is Taraji P Henson as Lois Lane ![]()

Minemrys:John Stewart is still around, the biggest black superhero in DC has not gotten his very own movie. How is Val-Zod movie seeing the light of day over a John Stewart Green Lantern movie ![]() These people at Warner Bros are crazy. |
Nickshrapnel:Static Shock is for streaming on HBO Max only... He will not be getting a theaterical release. Imagine that ![]() |
IngeniousLeez:They are using Multiverse as their safety net. I thought the Multiverse was supposed to be a way to connect everything without doing a hard reboot of the DCEU. With Multiverse they could have Micheal Keaton as Batman in Flash new world and still have Robert Pattison Batman doing his thing. Robert's Batman could even pop up alongside Wonder Woman and Aquaman and it would still make sense. I did not know they were going to use Multiverse to introduce black superman. If this black superman were as big as John Stewart, I would not be complaining. But he is not... Val-Zod is unknown and no one can relate to him cuz most people have never heard of him. Warner Bros is going to shift the biggest and most popular superhero of all time to the sidelines and establish a black superman that no one asked for. Make it make sense. |
TheKingIsHere:I think the success of Black Panther is giving them this crazy ideas. I believe they want to replicate or have a Black Panther of their own in DCEU, a black superhero.. A big one that could spin money for them. This is my theory because if you take a look at a DC. There is no big black superhero that can carry the universe like Wonder Woman is currently doing for them. They looked at Black Panther and thought that is what DCEU is missing. But that is where the problem arises. Why Val-Zod ![]() How many people know Val-Zod, how many times has he appeared in the animated series cuz most people have never heard of him before ![]() If WB want to have their own Black Panther and I believe that's the reason that influenced this decision, why not pick John Stewart for goodness sake. He is the first black superhero in DC history and WB still hasn't considered him ![]() Why not pick Vixen whose roots are from Africa like Black Panther ![]() Why not introduce Aqualad in the next Aquaman films and have him take the mantle after Authur's story is done... Just like how Falcon took the mantle from Captain America ![]() What about Static Shock, he is a young black teenager facing gang violence in his neighborhood. He could be DCEU very own Spiderman but black ![]() There are much better ideas for a major black superhero in DCEU... Much better than this Val-Zod nonsense they came up with. |
What are they smoking over there at Warner Bros.

TheKingIsHere:They need to get this kid to play blue beetle. He is Latino and is the right age too. He is a good actor. Fans of Cobra Kai know him very well.

[quote author=Kaycee7 post=99087031]Why am I not surprised? It's funny how y'all won't question half of the unrealistic stuff that happens in superhero movies but draw the line at a heartfelt speech. Diana put her heart into that speech and most of the people who'd wished were regretting their wishes already. So, I don't get why you're talking as if single people in real life have not talked down raging mobs before.Which one be heartfelt speech What kind of heartfelt speech would make you give up your wish to become a milonaire. I'm talking to you... Yes you! What kind of heartfelt speech will make a terrorist give up his wish for nuclear weapons ![]() You can't simply talk people out of giving up their hopes and dreams. It might work on some people, like the guy that wished for someone to die... Of course he would regret his wish. But how does the lady that asked to be a millionaire regret her wish. How do you regret having a million dollars in your account... How ![]() Cheetah never gave up her wish, at least we don't see her do so. And the stone took her humanity in exchange for the power she wished for, which you would have noticed if you were perceptive. And her transformation to a beast was facilitated by Max Lord when he bestowed attributes taken from people who had made wishes on her.You have missed the biggest plot hole here. Cheetah asked to be like Wonder Woman and she got all of Wonder Woman's power. But in the end she was knocked out by electric shock while Wonder Woman survived it. If she has the same powers as Wonder Woman why did the electric affect her... Only her Yes, as Max Lord has renounced his wish of being the Dreamstone, the stone will materialize again. The stone took his life force, his health, his very being from him, which you would have noticed again if you were paying attention. Are you sure you watched this movie? At this point we cannot tell if the dreanstone will materialize again. You should know that the writers did not make any clear cut rules as to how the stone works. Some wishes materialize out of thin air and some don't. In the third act everybody's wishes was coming to pass immediately except the Max's son's wish to be with his father immediately. The boy wished to be with his father instantly, he didn't say tomorrow or the next few hours. He wanted his wish to come true instantly and nothing happened. Do you know that the boy's wish is the only wish in the entire movie that didn't materialize out of thin air ![]() Aladin's magic lamp had clear cut rules that were so consistent, there was no room for confusion at all. The genie could grant any wish immediately but he cannot kill or make people fall in love. Simple. Those rules were steady in the cartoons and the movies. No plot holes about it. No misyarn, no confusion, no need to shalaye. Clear cut rules that stay solid like concrete. But with dreanstone, a giant wall can materialize from thin air but a boy can't see his father until a few hours later. So we're talking about physics that's completely theoretical? Alright then, what's the average velocity of launched missile? Let's start from there. What about Steve Trevor flying a modern plane, a freaking jet. Where did he learn that. I'm sure that war planes of 1914 are very different from Jets. The controls and buttons in the jet should confuse him well well. It's like knowing how to use a smartphone immediately because you used a telephone before. |
TonySpike:She seriously goofed on this one. Anytime I complain about WW84, folks on this thread will think I'm just hating. No DC film has been a bigger letdown to me than WW84 since JL in 2017. This is a character that I cherish since her debut in BVS. Patty and Geoff Johns messed it up. The action sequences are lackluster with CW vibes, the plot is goofy and problematic. The writers couldn't stay consistent with the powers of the dreamstone... Some wishes materialize out of thin air, some don't and there is no consistent rule to tell the difference. Aladin's magic lamp had clear cut rules for crissakes! The third act with the big ass speech and Max Lord going from an ambitious villain to a moronic one is just dumb and lazy writing. Hopefully Snyder cut and Suicide Squad turns our great. I just wanna forget WW84 even exist. |
The problem with this Gotham PD show is that there is a show that looks like a Gotham PD spinoff and that is Gotham itself which aired on Fox... The show is going to be similar to Gotham because it's going to be the police department at the forefront again with a police detective as lead character. This spinoff show screams Gotham.

Nickshrapnel:A better movie than Wonder Woman 1984. At least it had less plot holes. |
webhead: ![]() Laugh wan kill me but you are correct. The similarities are glaring. |
I have high hopes for James Gunn's Suicide Squad ![]() Hopefully it will give me some relief after all the horror Patty Jenkins put me through with WW84
|
Wonder Woman 1984 had a wack third act. I know that because a woman is some shiny armor can't talk me into renouncing my wish for a million dollars with some big ass speech ![]()
