WB will abandon the project.

If the movie is set several years before BVS (like strong rumours are saying) .

But if it set after JL and Ben is not playing Bruce Wayne anymore, they do a recast and I will be mad.

I believe that before July we will know who is playing Batman.
San Diego Comic con is the best time to announce it.

BTW Matt Reeves is a solid director.
Critics love this guy.

we are all know marvel copied DC in some characters like new gods, Thanos.
But marvel is making better use of the characters in the cinematic universe not the trash DCEU.
And we have better movies on ground to give us billions.
I m sure that the new gods will never be made like the same way we heard of flash, cyborg, MOS 2, Batman, JL2, lobo movie, green lantern, plastic man, JL dark,

Flash and The Batman will surely be made.
There are two DC movies WB will possibly release in 2021.

New Gods is a serious film.
It is the prequel to the entire DC universe.

Unless it falls into development hell like JLD, I don't see WB abandoning the project.

1. Star Wars. I am suffering from star wars fatigue. This is why han solo movie failed. Too much is never good. I am a star wars fan but i'm getting tired......

4. The last time I watched toy story, I was a teenager. Never went past part 2. Even watching the clips later in life5., the humor is not as sharp as other animations for me.

Toy Story 3 is one of the greatest Disney/Pixar animations ever made...write it down.

You missed out on a great movie.

Toy Story 3 is a GREAT film... "Good" is not enough to describe this movie... I can only use the word GREAT.

Toy Story 3 is a beautiful, emotional, tear jerker.
It will make you feel like a child despite your age.
The graphics is the best I have seen in any Disney animation...it looks almost real.

I don't know why they are making a fourth movie cuz Toy Story 3 had a perfect ending.

Toy Story 3 is a masterpiece.
It is the PICASSO of Disney/Pixar animations.

If you happen to watch it, plz try not shed a tear cuz the ending is really deep and emotional.

I still can't believe you missed out on one of the best animations of the 21st century.

Universal also owns Jurassic Park franchise.

They are going to make Jurassic World 3 even though the last one was a let down.

See a very good film in Bumblebee struggling to reach $300m.
A garbage movie like Transformers age of extinction cracked $1b easily.

Aquaman hitting $1b is a matter of "when" not "if".

It should be sitting at least $920m by the end of today.

It still has one week and five days left (including another weekend) before Glass drops on January 18th.

Plenty of time to add at least $80m to hit that Wan billion mark.

Even though grossing speed is getting slower, this movie still manages to earn $100m+ every week.
It was $748m last Sunday.

If you add Saturday numbers which (as projected by analyst) would be $25m+ in USA alone.

It's safe to say Aquaman has already passed $900m by now.

Warner Bros will officially release the weekend numbers by the end of today and I bet it won't be anything less than $920m.

There is always something epic about DC movies trailers and their final shots..

I hope Shazam final shot in the 2nd trailer will be just as good as Aquaman's final shot.

The way i see it, Eternals might come 1st cos WB have alot of franchise planned, and the MCU's schedule is n0w clean. Unless, Ava can c0me up with a great script before 2019 ends and WB agrees to her terms, then we can see producti0n begin in early 2020. I want to see the greatest escape artist in it, Miracle Man a.k.a scott free and Big Barda. What's going on with the flash m0vie? Or the justice league dark? No JL sequel and a JL dark film?

The flash was delayed because Ezra Miller also has a key supporting role in “Fantastic Beasts 3” another WB project.
The third film in the franchise begins shooting in July, which would cause scheduling headaches.
The Flash film is now expected to commence production in late 2019. That likely means it won’t debut in theaters until some time in 2021.

Justice League Dark is still going through development hell.

These beings that dominated the two planets Apokolips and New Genesis long before life began on earth.
We might see Darkseid in the movie.

New Gods is like a prequel to the entire DC universe.

Marvel's Eternals centers on the species that existed millions of years before life began on earth and long before the infinity stones were created.
We might see Titans.. Thanos race and kee and skrull.

It's a prequel to the entire Marvel universe.

Marvel copied the concept for Eternals from New Gods.
And they mischievously announced the movie shortly after WB announced New Gods movie.

Disney want to reboot the franchise.
I doubt the reboot of Pirates of the Caribbean be as successful as the original without Johnny Depp.

Disney will keep rebooting their old classics because they have nothing else going for them aside Pixar animations and Marvel.

POC was dragged too far.
Everybody says 4 and 5 was not needed so Disney has to start afresh because they can't offer something new.

They will replace Johnny Depp with a new female lead, a mistake they will regret later.

Most of Disney money comes from subsidiary studios they own like Marvel and Pixar and Lucasfilm- makers of Star Wars.
And now that Avengers is coming to an end, they need something better.

They bought Fox so they can milk X-men and other franchises FOX own.
My fear is that X-men will be turned into a light, cheesy comedy fest like most of the MCU.


Universal Studios are doing well.

Jurassic Park franchise keeps making billions for them.
Fast and Furious franchise too... Which is the eight most successful franchise in Hollywood.

WB is the second largest and richest studio in Hollywood after Disney and has the potential to become the first if they can put their act back together. Go and do ur research WB has some of the best movies ever made and the richest franchise in history of Cinema, something that Disney is not going to match any time soon. The only thing that has been keeping Disney on top for the last 4 years is MCU and the star wars franchise with some of their live action films which are basically remakes of the 90's animations. Unlike WB which have the Tolken universe (the Lord of the rings and hobbits trilogies, and they have only scratch the surface of that universe which has the potential to be bigger than the MCU if done right), the Harry Potter universe, the monster verse, horror genre (WB has the largest horror franchise now which is IT and the conjuring universe.) and so many other. And last but not least the DC universe. Seriously anyone with correct reasoning will know that unlike the MCU in which it brand popularity will die out after reaching it's zenith this year the DC universe has the stories to keep on making films for the next 30 years non stop. The that is WB biggest property which if managed the right way will create a franchise 5 time bigger than the MCU.

And I think the greatest problem with WB are it's executives which don't know how to manage a movie studio something which Disney has in abundance. I bet you give Disney the property WB have no studio in Hollywood will ever be able to beat them. That the major reason Disney is buying up other studios in other to develop their properties because they are running out of what to make. Who wants to bet that by 2020 Disney will be knocked out of first position in the box office and WB will take over. For those of u who will doubt what I'm saying go and do ur research Disney only make Blockbusters from one or two genres a year while WB makes movies that touches every genre from comedy, horror, adventure, action, romance, fantasy and comicbook movies and even animations. To me for Disney to keep dominating the coming year they need need to diversify their properties unless they are going to get a steep fall in the coming years

You forgot to mention Matrix franchise.

Seriously Warner Bros has made some of the greatest movies in Hollywood.
I can't forget those glory days.

They have prominent franchises with them.

- Harry Potter franchise
- Godzilla franchise
- Conjuring franchise

Money spinners all of em...especially DC.

Marvel ,Star Wars and the animated Disney/Pixar movies.

Disney needs serious diversification.

After buying FOX, It is now a three horse race for dominance in Hollywood between Warner Bros, Disney and Universal.

Shazam /Billy is not a black American in the comics.
So casting Dwayne Johnson doesn't make sense.

Dwayne Johnson will play Black Adam.
He will get his own solo film without Shazam which is great.

I was interested in Drax after Guardians 1.
I thought Guardians 2 would explore his background a little and how his family died and how he's dealing with grief and his desire for vengeance.

Instead James Gunn reduced Drax to just a comic relief.
The cheap clown that should make you laugh.

Marvel did not do justice to Drax.

I'm glad Jason turned down the role, Aquaman and Lobo suits him better.

Right now it needs just about $120m to surpass BVS and it has barely spent a month in theatres worldwide.

With no signs of slowing down Aquaman is easily earning extra $100m every 7 days.

It should easily earn at least another $252m by the next two to three weeks.

They should have moved Shazam to March.

Captain Marvel won't be much of a threat like Endgame.
February only has Lego Movie 2 as its only big release and that month is even better.

From April down to July 2019 is filled up with big movies...too risky.

WB should have thought this through.

I think the reason they didn't push up Shazam is to give the movie enough time to be ready.

I was expecting the official trailer this month but WB didn't release it.

It's like they've made a habit of releasing trailers late like they did with Aquaman.

The small humour I saw in the teaser trailer got me.

i've said this b4, a Joker film if d0ne right, could make close to a billi0n. And c0nsidering a guy like Phoenix is behind it with Martin sorcese producing, it has potentials. I may be wr0ng though, but c0me on, its Joker. People went to see the dark knight m0stly becos of Joker and ledger's performance n0t cancer throat batman.

Phoenix got some balls.

I never thought another actor would agree to play Joker after the backlash Jared Leto received.

The expectations fans had for him was just too much and when he didn't deliver he was almost buried alive with criticism.

Heath Ledger took Joker to a whole new level.

BTW Bale was far from a great Batman.
He was just lucky to have a fantastic Rouges gallery...Heath's Joker and Tom Hardy's Bane.

I am not really surprised by the outcome WB REALLY pushed their product.
The fact that Aquaman made more cash at the box office than Spidey does not automatically mean it's quality is upto Spider-Man into the Universe.That is like saying "The Meg" is better than "Blade Runner 2049"

When we had the argument last week we didn't argue which movie will be better but rather which one will surpass the other at the box office.

Marvel stamp does not always mean box office blockbuster.

Mary Poppins, Bumblebee and Spiderverse all had more positive reviews than Aquaman.
But las las the guy that talks to fish grossed $600m in less than a month.

Mary Poppins, Bee and Spiderverse can only dream of that.

TBH I'm just as surprised as everyone else.
I didn't expect Aquaman to be this big.
