I do prefer armie hammer. He just have to bulk up. Timothee Chalamet is too young.

Armie Hammer has the height ( 6'5 ).
He is a great actor....infact he has better acting chops than other rumored contenders for the new Batman.

His CV is so good.
He is very popular....a familiar face in Hollywood.

But he needs to bulk up.

Robert Pattinson is almost the same age as Armie and he looks younger than his age.
Robert has this young face of a Bruce Wayne in 20's that I like.

But if Matt Reeves wants a really good actor, he should go for Armie Hammer.

But to be honest, when I look at Armie Hammer....what I see is Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) not Batman.

According to the latest rumors (Started From Boss Logic ‘s whipped up Fan-Art last Saturday) Twilight star Robert Pattinson is being considered for The Batman role.
He’s seemingly part of a very long shortlist options that features big-name actors like Armie Hammer Timothee Chalamet and Nicholas Hoult |

THE BATMAN – that is scheduled for release June 25, 2021 will focus on a younger Bruce Wayne.

Robert's physical features :

Height in centimeters- 185 cm
in meters- 1.85 m
in Feet Inches- 6’ 1” (almost as tall as Affleck)
Eye Colour: Blue
Hair Colour :Golden Brown

Age : 32 Years

Robert is a very good actor.

The only thing he lacks is muscle.
He needs to bulk up.

Other rumored contenders for the new Batman role like Nicholas Hoult and Armie Hammer also lack muscles. undecided

Director Zack Snyder and Producer Deborah Snyder are serving as executive producers for the upcoming film Suicide Squad: Relaunch by Writer/Director James Gunn. They'll be joined by Charles Roven and Peter Safran as producers, who have worked with the Snyders on numerous DC Film projects in past.

The thread has lost its sanity.

The way they spent time here arguing over superheroes....it almost makes it look like other movie genres like horror, action, comedy, drama don't exist anymore.

Can't these people talk about something else other than DC and Marvel stuff...

I'm looking for good romantic comedy movies...
Someone should recommend something for me abeg.

I gave Black Panther 6.5/10.

I gave Infinity War 7/10.

But I didn't deny that the movies had any flaws same way I never said Aquaman was flawless.

But toxic fanboyism is what will make someone rate a movie so low to make it look horrible.

If you give the movie 2/10, how will you rate Venom and Ant man 2....maybe 0/10. undecided

I don't know if it is bias against DC that is causing such foolishness in ratings for Aquaman. Aquaman is a great movie (Mind you, I am a Marvel fan).

The plot might not be great but it is okay (there are other aspects of the movie that are amazing). Keep in mind that Aquaman has made over a billion dollars worldwide. How can you just open your mouth and claim that it is one of the worst movies in 2018? Are you high on drugs?

Like MJBOLT earlier stated, Aquaman does well in its visuals and casting choice. While I agree that the plot is not great, I will posit that one could find more plotholes in infinity war than in aquaman.

Try to be balanced. Aquaman is not in the top 10 films of 2018 but it is a movie worth watching. Would you really rate antman 2 above aquaman?

The plot is simple and okay.

I don't understand the hatred for the movie.

These trolls should tell me when having a very simple and straightforward plot became a crime in Hollywood undecided

Ant man 2 and Ragnarok also had simple plots.

Infinity War and Venom had more plot holes than this movie.

Too much bias and toxic fanboyism is the reason why people can't sit down and enjoy movies again.

The so called franchise that is finished has earned $4.8b with 6 movies only...

How many franchises has earned more than that with first 6 movies.... Mention them.

Plus the fact that wannabe Thor cracked a billion where Superman and JL couldn't is a wonder of its own.

Why did you watch the movie when you don't even like the franchise in the first place huh

You should have stayed away...

From the way you talk it's obvious you never liked the franchise.

Give it a rest.

Please don't bother watching Shazam, Joker or Wonder Woman 2, The Batman, Suicide Squad 2....just stay away from them.

We don't want people like you who hate a particular franchise but keeps on watching every new release...

Two more release dates set...

The Batman on June 25 2021.

Suicide Squad 2 on August 6 2021.

For the first time two DC movies will release very close to each other.

Both movie are barely 5 weeks apart.. shocked

James Gunn is in talks to direct Suicide Squad 2.

It won't be a reboot but it will be more of a relaunch than a direct sequel.

The working title is "The Suicide Squad " instead of Suicide Squad 2....official title is not yet confirmed.

Most of cast of the first film won't return but as long as Viola Davis returns as Amanda Waller together with Will Smith as Deathshot...I'll be glad.

James Gunn can replace the others with new characters and I won't even notice their absence.

Right on spot. This Batman movie should be anything but Nolan's dark Knight to avoid unnecessary comparison. Though the movie will focus on the detective aspect of Batman instead of his fighting prowess which to me is excellent. Let us see why he is called the greatest detective.

My fetish villain would be penguin who is manipulated by the Riddler who is also working under the court of owls. Now that would definitely be a good plot twist I want to see Batman solve.

I don't understand why Court Of Owls has not made it to big screen yet.

Having a secret society like Court Of Owls would pave way for a great thrilling detective story.

What if we get a younger Bruce Wayne who has been Batman for just a year and he tries to use his skills to find the man that murdered his parents.
His search for clues and while connecting the dots leads him to discover a secret society called Court Of Owls.
This secret society runs Gotham from the shadows and Thomas Wayne was a former member who left the group because some of their actions are against his moral codes and the Court murdered him and Martha cuz he threatened to expose their secrets.

Court Of Owls as the major antagonist would make for a mind bending suspense-filled thriller.

Batman has an amazing rouges gallery.
Joker, Rasalghul and Bane were just the tip of the iceberg.

I believe he is just temporarily out cuz Matt Reeves will cast a younger actor to play Batman.
He still has 2 movies on his contract.

If Batman gets a sequel set after JL (no need for younger Batman) Ben will return.

When Sony released into the spiderverse they thought they are the only ones that can do a comic book superhero animated film.

Into the Spiderverse was great but it has kick started a new competition.

WB are developing a Batman Beyond animated movie.
This is not low budget, straight to DVD release.
It will be 3D animated movie and it will be released for the big screen.

It will be like Into the Spiderverse.
In fact it is a response to Into the Spiderverse.

Count me in...!!!

That is because Aquaman just made a villain out of him.

It's not as if he was used to fighting Aquaman before.
He is a normal human being and Arthur is Atlantean.

It's not a surprise he got his ass kicked by Arthur in the first movie.

He's only been a villain for 15 minutes and trying to tackle a threat he never had any much experience tackling before.

Everything about him was comic accurate.

David Hyde started the movie as an average pirate working with his father, robbing navy subs.

He will eventually grow and develop as Black Manta.

He is a newbie for crying out loud.

They should have casted someone like Micheal jai white who showed interest.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II did a good job as Black Manta.

He didn't get enough screen time cuz he will likely be the main villain in Aquaman 2.

The movie was only setting him up for a bigger involvement in a sequel.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II signed a contract with WB to appear in over 4 DC movies.
So his little role in Aquaman was just the beginning of the Black Manta character.
He will grow as a villain to become as formidable you expect him to be.

Characters grow and develop, you know undecided

Yahya barely had 15 minutes of screen time.
Cut him some slack.

BTW the movie only started production, they are just testing cameras here. I doubt this is the official look.
