Road to hell

Even senators now huzzle train at kubwa with ppl while their security aids drive alone to wait for them @ Kaduna..

As if jona foresaw this
To get a ticket to kaduna by train is like you won a jackpot. Few people will buy it and later sell at an exorbitant rate.
Politics › Re: Former Governor Dankwambo Escapes Kidnap Along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway by blackmantis: 10:19am On Aug 28, 2019
When a high profile politician is kidnapped you will see how active the security agents are, but for the unfortunate common Nigerian, you are on your own.

If you ply that road regularly you will often meet people who had just witnessed a kidnap, that is if you are not the victim.
Crime › Re: SARS Assaults A Boy And His Mother In Edo (Photos) by blackmantis: 5:30pm On Aug 27, 2019
This checking of phone by SARS is an infringement of the privacy of an individual.

I was in Benin and had to go to Auchi. I boarded a bus with almost all the other passengers students of either Ekpoma or Auchi poly. After dropping some students at Ekpoma were got to a SARS checkpoint immediately they ordered the two young fresh looking guys who were in the front seat to get down from the bus and submit thier phones. They then came to the back seat and ordered another young guy to join them. I was expecting them to say something to me but they just avoided me knowing I wasn't obviously a student. 5mins later the boys returned and I learnt one had to pay N7000 on the spot because they saw a foreign number on his phone, I was shocked. He claimed it was his aunty. The other students confirmed it's a daily routine.
I was thinking how he was going to survive now that the small allowance his parents must have given him has been collected by SARS.

One reason I love ABC Transport. Even if every other thing fail in the company, they don't play with safety. They cannot abandon their passengers on the road. They have staff that are ready to listen to u at all time irrespective of hw boring ur complaint might sound.
They also don't joke with time. Even with thier Super sleeper half full they left Abuja at 5pm to Lagos. With ice cool A.C.

My experience with Peace from Abuja to Onitsha is similar. Very rude drivers and staff.

If not GIGM or ABC or Ekeson I'd rather fly

Thanks op for this topic.
It's an eye opener for us Ju's.

A friend of mine who studied in Unical narrated what happened to him in 2001 when he was in year one. He was a born again Christian and had just finished writing his exams for that day and was going home to prepare for the next day. Near Goldie gate there was a place where boys played snooker. As he was approaching everyone was staring at him. When he got close, one of the guys called him to come. As soon as he got near them they bundled him into the shop and and started searching him asking where is it. Where is what he replied? When they pulled out the small blue Bible he was carrying from his pocket, one of the guys gave him a slap that he has not forgotten. They told him to take off his shirt does he not know what the combination he is wearing means. He quickly did so and they seized his shirt and told him never to wear that combination in his life.

My guy avoided all plain materials from that day. It's either checked or stripes.

He told me this when I was yabbing him how he keeps wearing check or striped shirt and trousers.

Say no to cultism

He was repeatedly arrested for seditious activities and was unsuccessfully prosecuted for Treason. He secretly joined the banned South African Communist Party (SACP). Although initially committed to non-violent protest, in association with the SACP he co-founded the militant Umkhonto we Sizwe in 1961 and led a sabotage campaign against the government. He was arrested and imprisoned in 1962, and subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment for conspiring to overthrow the state.

He later went on to become one of the greatest leader Africa has ever produced. Nelson Mandela

Power is transient

It is possible to dislike something, without calling for it to be banned. For example, I don't like Ewedu soup, but I don't want it banned.
This dance should be banned even though I don't see how that can be possible
