OP, by giving in this desperate times, you are doing a great job

The needy are every where
If you step out of your house you will see them.

On Nairaland it's not going to be possible to distinguish needy and non needy, you just have to trust that your kind act will meet the needs of those who you are sending it to.

4k for 25 people would be ok.

I said this yesterday when youth's attacked unarmed enforcement team.

Someone said wouldn't try that with armed soldiers.

Shoot one of the youths and this is what happens.

Hunger is like cancer that affects the mind the sooner the government makes sure that palliatives reaches the hungry masses the better else expect more of this.
Politics › COVID-19: Nasarawa Governor Imposes 24-hour Curfew In Karu LGA by blackmantis(op): 9:47pm On Apr 01, 2020
Nasarawa state governor, Abdullahi Sule, has imposed a 24-hour curfew in Karu Local Government Area and 10-hour curfew in other areas of the state for the next 14 days as part of measures to curb the spread of COVID-19. Daily Trust reports that Karu, which is in Nasarawa state, shares boundary with the nation’s Federal Capital Territory.

“With effect from 6:00pm of Thursday, 2nd April, 2020 for 14 days, all markets across the state are to remain closed,” the governor said. According to him, this is particularly necessary considering the influx of people from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja which has been locked down as part of measures to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. He said, “it is for this reason and in line with the provision of the Nasarawa State Dangerous Infectious Diseases (Emergency Prevention) Regulations, 2020, as well as the advice of the Nasarawa State High Powered Committee on COVID-19, the following measures come into immediate effect: “Entry into Nasarawa state is hereby restricted to between 6:00pm to 6:00am and all persons coming into the State shall continue to be screened at the designated check-points/mobile clinics.”

For most small business which the FG will classify as ok financially, the moment they stop working for a week, they become poor

These people have closed thier business and are at home

The FG should give palliative to them too. Thier capital is tied to the goods in thier locked shops which they can't sell until the lock down is over.
