Politics › Re: We Have Spent Billion On COVID-19 Palliative, FG Right Or Wrong by blackpanda: 11:39am On Oct 23, 2020 |
amakadlite: on the contrary, the covid pariatives discovered were from a non governmental organization (cacovid) donated afer the lockdown to be distributed nationwide. at least, the poorest of the poor are the direct beneficiaries of the cacovid donations as seen in the way they shared the stuffs among them selves without stamped or positioning for pictures. the the ones our government said they shared, how many persons benefited? Pls stop saying rubbish, Palliatives are a PPP arrangement with government. Cacovid was to manage all those billions that were donated and to assist in providing and distributing the said palliatives to Nigerians. But we can all see what they did now |

nIGERIANS ARE JUST DECEIVING THEMESELVES
Government is not the problem, we the people are the problem
No matter the wonderful policy any govt brings it will never work because the average nigerian is greedy, selfish and unpatriotic. ou can see that from the paliatives where govt spent billions but one greedy person siphoned everything |

ItsReal: Let me mess with you small.
"Hoodlums have hijacked the protest from us." You said protest is the right of every Nigerian. Hoodlums are Nigerians too. They are protesting the way they know how. Who are "us" you're referring to? Did you define yourselves or those eligible to join the protest? Was it not you calling everybody to join the struggle? Sowore even called the police to join them in the revolution. Hoodlums, who are also Nigerians with grievances now joined, and you said they hijacked it. What is hijack? Did they stop you from doing your own protest? Did they redefine what you want or change the 5 abi 17 points agenda? Part of your own agenda is to release your own fellow protesters arrested. Part of their own agenda is to release their friends that were in prison since (they also thought they were wrongly imprisoned, or no be only them be thieves). You had no leader, fixed group or coordination, and you called everybody to join you. Hoodlums now joined you, and you said they hijacked it from you.
Please stop the joke.
Let's even assume they've seized control of your own protest, you cannot take back control from ordinary hoodlums, and you want to take control of Nigeria from Buhari and the army? Are you dreaming?

They are currently burning the company First of all, you cant prove that tinubu owns LCC But even if that were so, if u burn the company who will suffer? will that make tinubu poor The only thing u will achieve is to render more youths jobless and hungry. The person u think u are attacking wont really be affected |

Many people will fume and call me names, but as for me i dont support this pointless protest for many reasons. First of all, Nigerian youths claim they want an end to police brutality and bad government but if we are sincere with ourselves, arent we the ones that empower and created these monsters in the first place. When you use police to settle private civil disputes and to bully each other, what did u expect will eventually happen? when u collect 5k from politicians to vote for them regardless of their pedigree, how can u turn aroung to blame the politicians for looting? Abi wont they "recoup" their investment When u surrender yourself to be used as political thugs during election, how are u any different from SARS? The truth is the change we truly seek starts from we the people. We must look inwards and change our ways and ideology. You complain that govt officials are corrupt, but many times its the same people complaining that go there to bribe the officials in order to get personal favours i.e jump queue or get a particular service faster . If everybody refuses to give or receive bribe or act as thug then no govt official will be corrupt. More importantly, this whole protest business looks too much like what has been happening all over the world like in tunisia, egypt, syria, iraq, afghanistan etc The whole business smells of foreign interference to distabilize Nigeria. It looks too much like what happened in libya where the cause appeared to be just but at the end of the day we saw it was American and France behinde it all just for Libya's oil. Please and please, end the protest and stay home. Dont die for nothing. Stay safe and refused to be manipulated and used to destroy your country! One love

Rgade: Hmm. One thing everyone will notice from this FG,ASUU standoff, whether you are pro FG or pro ASUU is that this FG in their characteristic manner has never been honest at any point. They have kept up with the lying they are known for. * Lying that most ASUU members are already on IPPIS. * Lying that all lecturers are currently being paid whether on IPPIS or not. * Lying that lecturers not on IPPIS will only stop receiving salaries as from November. * Lying that every one received IPPIS warmly. Plot twist : SSANU and NASU have both kicked against IPPIS.
You just can't help but wonder,if the FG is so convinced that they are up to a noble quest, why the relentless lying, dishonesty and shifting of goalpost. The fact that the FG will not stop lying simply means that ASUU has been vindicated Thank you. Oya chop your like and go |
