[size=16pt]Cele points finger at 'Nigerians in Sandton'[/size] Dec 7, 2009 11:23 PM | By SALLY EVANSDon't forget to read the comments, some are already promoting violence! Can you believe this freaking slowpoke said this about Nigerians? I know that our countrymen are heavily involved in the drug trade there, but this guy should be sacked from his position because he is blatantly promoting xenohphobia and making statements that have not been statistically proven. This slowpoke is more likely than not just another unqualified lazy South African who got the position just because he knew someone in power. I also think this man is jealous of Nigerian success because there are probably more Nigerians living in Sandton than there are black South Africans. The Nigerian consulate in Johannesburg is being quiet on the issue but I urge ALL Nigerians to contact the consulate in South Africa to complain about these UNSUBSTANTIATED claims. Contact details: Physical Address: Consulate General Of Nigeria No.16 Rivonia Road Illovo 2196 Johannesburg South Africa Postal Address: Consulate General Of Nigeria P.O Box 1014 Saxonwold 2132 Johannesburg Telephone: +27 (11) 442 3620 Fax: +27 (11) 442 0010 Email: cgjhb@nigeria.co.za |
Cocaine Mafia, how Europe's growing cocaine consumption is fueling drug trafficking in West Africa. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-365248.0.html Very eye opening. |
Bump! |
@ SollobEE Please watch this video, it shows the fate of many young Africans who were drawn to this one town in Italy: [flash=500,400]http://current.com/e/91650781/en_US[/flash] Many others were promised work in Italy, but when they got there the market was saturated. Now many of them are in the grimey drug game, even becoming addicted. ![]() Please, be wise. Maybe that fake travel agent was a blessing in disguise. |

[flash=500,400]http://current.com/e/91650781/en_US[/flash] Its really sad to see so much potential go to waste. I knew about the drug dealing/traffiking, but it was really disturbing to see how some of these guys turned into crackheads. ![]() EDIT: What's even more disturbing is how small states like Guinea-Bissau are basically being baught by powerful South American cartels so they can ship their drugs there, and have Africans traffic it to Europe. If no one does anything to hinder this, in about 10-20 years we can expect to see a repeat of 1980s Colombia all across west Africa. Some experts are already calling Guniea Bissau a narco-state. |
Uh oh. ![]() |
Some damn pathetic pathetic people in this thread. All these presumably mature individuals are in hear crying like babies because a thread was relocated. Like someone else said, a more relevant question would be why the other threads haven't been moved from this section, but as we all know, many on nairaland love to make victims out of themselves and create a tribalist situation. I'd hate to see some of these losers come to oyiboland, I bet the first thing they'll do is call Jesse Jackson and say they were victims of racism upon landing. "Waaa my thread was moved, waaaa we're being victimized, waaaa the mods are tribalist, waaaaa I'm just a victim." https://patriotroom.com/images/upload/Black_baby_crying.jpg Una way too much, abeg carry go. |
[sarcasm] Good to see Uganda tackling the most important issue effecting its populace. [/sarcasm] |
That's the Aba Mormon temple. Its been closed since June I believe. |
*jona has to be one of the lowest life forms that I have encountered here on nairaland to date . I've never seen someone so obsessed with getting under the skin of Igbos. Its obvious that he/she is jobless and has no life, but whats not so obvious is why he/she hates Igbos so much? Whatever it is, it seems that *jona is very miserable and lovers to take his misery out on people that did nothing to him.her. What a loser a$$. *jona:This dumba$$ can hardly string together a sentence, let alone have it make sense. You fail at life m0ron. |
Home. There's going to be a civil war here in American come 2010. Once the system bankrupts itself, all kinds of violence will break out. |
Look at this yeye guy making a fuss over his thread being moved, and people agreeing with him. Pictures of a city have nothing to do with politics okay? Is it so hard to navigate around this site? Some una sound like a broken record, anything you can't explain is always tribalism or you will turn it into a tribalist issue. This forum needs to be cleaned up, its turning into one huge joke. I used to love coming into this section when I first joined this site, but now I can't go into one thread without interrupting some argument having to do with tribe. WHEN WILL IT EVER END ![]() [size=16pt]I SUGGEST MODS CREATE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR TRIBALISM, WHICH INCLUDES DELETING THE TRIBALIST SECTION BECAUSE I THINK IT PROMOTES TRIBALISM IN OTHER PARTS OF THE FORUM. USERS WHO REPEATEDLY TAKE PART IN THESE CHILDISH SHENANIGANS SHOULD BE TEMPORARILY BANNED, THEN IP BANNED IF THEY DO NOT IMPROVE. IF THEY RETURN, BAN THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL THEY GET THE MESSAGE.[/size] /rant over |
This thread is an excellent example of why I rarely come into this section of the forum anymore. |
I honestly don't know what to say. I'm speechless. |
Nigeria is a developing third world country. @op, seems like you're confusing thrid world with failed state. . . |
@ oyinda oyinda.:I've always been supportive of big families, but what's more surprising are your blatant communist-inspired suggestions!! |
Praise the lord. |

Visit this thread to see one of the many things the great governor of Lagos has accomplished so far, which is securing investment into the Lekki FTZ and other projects included in the Lekki masterplan: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-222881.0.html Lagos is undergoing some of the biggest changes in its history and for some of you to badmouth Fashola as if he were a common thief is totally unjust. |
Kay 17:Calling you an idiot would be a compliment. |
Expectant Mother Launches MyFirstNappy.co.uk for unique baby gifts With increasing trend of hosting baby showers, 27 year old expectant mother Grace Adesina launches myfirstnappy.co.uk, a website for selling unique baby gifts. Nappy cakes are the perfect gift to celebrate the arrival of a new baby. A nappy cake is a non edible, hand crafted tower made out of gifts for a newborn, for example feeding bottles, blankets, soft toys and much more. myfirstnappy.co.uk offers a wide range of beautifully presented cakes, from one tier designs to more luxurious three tier masterpieces. Whether it is an organic cake you are after, a character cake with a twist or a custom made design of your own, myfirstnappy.co.uk aims to create a unique baby gift that also doubles up as a fabulous party centre piece. Founder of myfirstnappy.co.uk Grace Adesina who grew up in Peckham, South London is of Nigerian descent. After completing a Engineering Masters at Surrey University, Grace now works at an engineering contract company in Northwest London. Grace loved the idea of building a business and jumped at an entrepreneurial opportunity selling baby shower gifts online. I first heard of nappy cakes when organising my close friends baby shower. I thought it was a brilliant concept so I thought this would be a brilliant opportunity to bridge the gap as the British public are catching up with the trend. With the website now live, I hope that myfirstnappy.com will be the first place you turn to when looking for newborn baby gifts to make any baby celebration even more spectacular Media Contact Information Name: Christina Adesina Website: www.myfirstnappy.co.uk Email: sales@myfirstnappy.co.uk Phone: 07988585360 Address: City: Northolt County/State: London Postcode/ZIP: Country: United Kingdom Source: http://www.prfire.co.uk/press-release/expectant-mother-launches-myfirstnappy.co.uk-for-unique-baby-gifts-2940.html I came across this while searching for something else and thought I should share it. |
Between 3 and 5. |
ideas78:You should definitely look towards North Carolina then. They have a large black population (23% of the state pop and growing rapidly due to immigration and black american migration from the northeast), and the business climate there is excellent (it was ranked the seventh best state for entrepreneurs in the nation, with 2 NC metro areas coming in the top 3 best metros for entrepreneurs). The ICT sector there is booming, and the state is home to the largest and most prominent high tech research park in the nation (its often compared to the Silicon Valley). I don't know much about health, but I'm sure with a growing population there is a demand. Here are some links to information about what I'm talking about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_carolina http://www.entrepreneur.com/bestcities/region/states.html http://www.entrepreneur.com/bestcities/region/large.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Research_Triangle_Park |
tanimz:Thanks, I wish you good luck as well. ![]() |
tanimz:Wow, that's a great school, I hope you all the best! This state really is terrible though, but I will admit that Northern California is a million times better than Southern California (but Northern California is way more expensive). Not only is this state overrun with illegal immigrants who suck the life out of tax payer funded services (thus lowering the quality of these services), it's also in the midst of the worst budget crisis in its history. For UC schools, they raised undergraduate fees by 32% last month, which made it equivalent to tuitions!! This is effecting many people including myself, who have aspirations to go to UC schools, but can't afford them. Right now I'm a senior in high school due to graduate in June, and I'm filling out as many scholarships/grants as I can, as well as applications to many affordable out of state schools. I passed my high school exit exam, have good grades, and got good SAT scores, but because of the extreme competitiveness here, I am forced to look elsewhere (I've filled out 12 applications so far from 6 different states). ![]() I'm putting my faith in Cal State schools and the out of state schools I applied to. The three schools that I really want to get accepted into are CSULB, UWash and Wake Forest. |
I would go for the southern states, specifically Texas, Georgia, or North Carolina. Before the recession these states were BOOMING economically, and after the recession they will more likely than not continue to boom. The quality of life in these states is high and the cost of living in low. Don't come to California, this state is bleeped up and I can't wait to get out!! |

, thats sooo annoying
