It is scientifically proven that areas who share the same climate in the North, are very more likely to contain large amounts of oil. Millions of years ago, the North wasn't a dry, arid place, it was a more temperate place, with lots of vegetation, and over millions of years, desertification took place, and much oil was developed under that soil. This argument has nothing to do with ethnic groups, it has to do with FACT.

There is more oil in the North, than anywhere in the entire country. It just has to be found.

This guy basically exposed himself with this one post, and I am no longer falling for the front. Division is needed to succeed. To go back into history, our border lines were never truly decided by us, they were decided by the British, and they never thought of the deep Ethnic divisions that existed even before they drew up the maps for Nigeria.

I too am a religious person, but I understand that I am not the person to judge someone, that is up to the lord, not YOU nor ME. These Churches do go against my beliefs, and moral values, but who am I to judge? I'm not God, let people do as they wish, they're not shoving their beliefs down our throats, so in return we should do the same. The one who decides the final decision is not someone on this Earth, it is the one above.

Stop flocking countries that are trying desperately to develop, and help their people. These countries can't handle an influx of immigrants, when they are struggling to satisfy their own people, wait until they develop at least, or go to Europe. Guinea is a new kid on the block, it can't handle people from all over Africa flocking to their country yet.

Even though I don't agree with any Homosexual ideology, if Nigeria wants to become progressive, we have to respect all people's viewpoints and lifestyles. This means everyones opinion should be respected, and not dictated from Government, or anyone else.

Sadly, this probably is what's going to have to happen in order to have all parts of the current country to one day succeed. Maybe after we all become successful, we could re-unite later in the future.

Disgusting. Where the hell is all this oil money going? I'll tell you: Into the pockets of the ELITE. Nigeria needs to look to Angola to see a REAL model of how to run a developing country. That country pours the vast majority of it's money into vastly improving the lives of the public. Nigeria has some problems to sort out.

Nah, I don't have an obsession with the White race to even think of doing that, and plus, I use my real identity everywhere, so I would register as a NIGERIAN man, and try have a debate with those savages.

You're right, this is an open forum, but the guy is hiding behind a fake identity, trying to fool a forum of almost 250,000 people. He can at least us his true identity, and reveal his real intentions, so we could have a real debate, instead of trying to be someone else.

Seun, please ban the name Mpele, it is quite obvious he is someone hiding behind a fake persona to somehow have an excuse to criticize Nigeria, and the people of it. Him posting a link to Stormfront validates this point even more. His picture is also obviously taken from google images.

I am sick of seeing his numerous posts constantly criticizing my country and my people over and over again. This guy is obviously trying to create an unneeded tension between Nigerians and South Africans, and some of you are falling for the trap. This guy is sadly fooling a lot of you, and I am warning all of you that this man is not what he claims to be.

This type of poster is infamous across many Black forums, they pose as a Black person, try to get in with the crowd, then start to criticize when they feel the rest have gotten comfortable with them. Mpele is not Black South African, nor is he a friend of Nigeria, he is a racist White supremacist who is probably Afrikaner and needs to be removed from Nairaland. Has anyone else pulled this crab out the pot yet?

P.S. I know this isn't entirely related to politics, but I believe the people of Nairaland should be aware of this guy, since some mods seem to not care.

This is disgusting. Do people have any care for human life anymore? Some of our people live on less than $3 a day, and they strive for success in Western countries like Germany, and when they get there, they're thrown out like garbage. Disgusting. I hope the Nigerians there make their voices heard.
