President Umaru Musa YaríAdua will depart Nigeria for Italy on Wednesday to attend the G8 Summit taking place in L’Aquila at the Coppito Guardia di Finanza School between July 8 and 10. The President's advance team departed last night.
This week's meeting will be the third since President Yar'Adua was sworn in on May 29, 2007 and the first he is being invited to attend.
In the last two summits, the G-8 organisers had invited only countries which they described as "the stable and structured" emerging economies, namely China, India, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa, while Egypt was invited to represent the Arab, Muslim and Africa.
The non-invitation of Nigeria's President to the last meeting had however attracted reactions from Nigerians. Critics had viewed the development as G8 nation's way of expressing their displeasure with the dispute over the 2007 Presidential election that brought President Yar'Adua to power.
Yar'Adua had at a meeting with leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lamented the absence of Nigeria at the last G8 meeting saying he was saddened by the development.

kudos to okocha but i have to got to say this - The average cost of an overseas student including accomodation and food is about £12000 per year. £10000 is big margin for an individual to make up and it does not include flights, clothing and beer money.

Asides this, abeg if anyone knows C++ .NET and / or OpenGL (intermediate at least), holla at me and let's do some sharing from time to time. [b]For people who are trying to get into programming or make a living from programming. . .invest time and effort in C++ and C# (.NET) [/b]and you wouldn't get any rest thereafter (good problem). In the meantime, let me say I am not even specializing in software engineering / software development / programming but these tools are very useful and at the right time, the right job will pay top dollars for you to play with them!

It may be worth fixing the cheap antispam bot plug-in program in use here. It is not in anyway effective. Here are a few things I have noticed.

1. Posts are not showing.

2[b].Making that same post would result to potential account suspension.[/b]

3. Anyone who quotes a post not showing in a thread, but visible in the quoting/reply section would have their account suspended too.

All of these I have experienced.

In my opinion the spam bot is rubbish and very indiscriminate. It is really worth Seun to consider employing more human as a mod to do the work, than reply on an ineffective and indiscriminate anti-spam bot.
