Abeg - throw that syndrome of Free and Fair elections inside dustbin - for now
PoliticsHere We Go Again: CPC Rejects Presidential Election Result by blacksta(op): 3:11pm On Apr 18, 2011
The Congress for Progressive (CPC) has officially rejected the results of the 2011 Presidential Election.

The presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change, Muhammadu Buhari, has lodged a complaint with the Independent National Electoral Commission over the results of the presidential election which held in various parts of Nigeria last Saturday.

Speaking on Aljazeera, Monday, in reaction to questions on the rising protest and violence in the North where he has a large number of supporters, Mr Buhari said the announced results were false and that he had laid his complaints before the electoral body. He said the body has agreed to check the score sheets manually and compare with the results they inputed to their electronic system.

The former head of state said he based his allegations of electoral fraud on reports he got from party representatives from various polling booths in the North.

If he is not able to head it, a special advisory committee on anti-corruption and security can be set up with people like him and Ribadu involved. They can work jointly with EFCC, the police and every other law enforcement agency.
More delusions -

GEJ is an embodiment of corruption - so the people you mention would never work with GEJ - it is case of trying to swim up stream

PoliticsRe: Do You Think President Jonathan Can Be Successful In Governance With The PDP? by blacksta(m): 9:52am On Apr 18, 2011
How you seperate popularity and Pdp party labelled a mere arrangement of self centred personalities with an sole aim of maintaining access to power at all cost. I would be interested to know.

Popularity does not automatically translate to effectiveness
PoliticsRe: Thank God Jonathan Won By Popularity Not Because Of Pdp by blacksta(m): 9:20am On Apr 18, 2011
Unfortunately popularity don't run governments.  I would be interested to see how popularity will swim upstream .  A man that romances the corrupt status quo.

Every 4 years - The expectation of the average Nigerian is raised only to dashed down the line  - Have you read the inauguration speeches of OBJ and Yar adua - In those speeches what can you identify with that is now reality

A nation of selective amnesia sufferers

Who cares?
You the one that would continue using death trap roads and badly funded medical establishments

maybe in another 4 years you would remove the ethnic glasses
bodejohn:
, it wasn't a dumb move, it only showed that majority of Nigerians are pleased with the perfomace of the PDP government in the last 12years.
No doubt  _  let the raping continue
PoliticsRe: Voting In Pdp - What A Dumb Move by blacksta(op): 7:33pm On Apr 17, 2011
I respect the people of Osun state  - They are about the last group of feel the evil claws of PDP  hence they responded how a sensible bunch should respond.
PoliticsVoting In Pdp - What A Dumb Move by blacksta(op): 7:30pm On Apr 17, 2011
Majority said they voted for the man and not the party ?  So what happens when the man you voted for gives your money and opportunities to his fellow PDP member.

I say it is a very dumb move  - only losers/helpless share that ideology of defeat.

I would be very interested to hear the Great fela's response on the above matter.
PoliticsRe: Osun Must Be Punished by blacksta(m): 2:56pm On Apr 17, 2011
I salute the people of Osun  - this type of voting should have  been replayed across Nigeria rather than reward a pdp and candidate who are responsible for large scale poverty across Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Pdp Is Killing Nigeria by blacksta(m): 2:41pm On Apr 17, 2011
i agree 100%   - I am not a supporter of buhari  - it is so unfortunate that people who are capable of salvaging Nigeria are never given  the chance hence we are left with coup plotters, murderers , thieves and those who get to the summit by luck ( the story of Nigeria)

Ain't making up no story, I really duff my heart to folks that endanger their lives to get news. It was really sad knowing most of the. Community peeps(c.s.o and some others) were in support of what was going on. According to them I was paid by the opposition and was working against Goodluck and I must be a not so proper ibo man
Please take heart  - sorry for your loss - look on the bright side  - what if u could not come with 10 k  - which is rather unfortunate.

@post

Yet some people will accuse of north of being bigots  -  while the same is practiced in the south

Nigeria is a complex jungle  -
PoliticsRe: Do Not Vote For An Infidel by blacksta(m): 11:25pm On Apr 16, 2011
the sad truth is  - nobody voted based on real issues but more along ethnic or religious line hence you have a case of the south south predominately voting gej even though his party is responsible for a large chunk of their of problems .

rather than vote on the lines of real lssues  - such as economic - many voted based on sentiments  " he is our son "  or " my religion"  as witnessed in the north

Nigeria has a long way to go to redeem itself.
PoliticsRe: Run-off 4 Sure- Not Good For 9ja (north Vs South) by blacksta(m): 10:26pm On Apr 16, 2011
rubbish and nonsense  - it is ok for the south south  voting for gej  but when north votes buhari  it is case of North vs south

abeg give me a break

If  the whole country were voting based on real issues (economic related issues) - pdp because of 12 years of misrule will already be decimated

until then the whole country is messed up

also heard there was a low turn in oyo state  with 2.5 registered voters - the understanding is many are saving their energies for next Saturday election  -

There's surely going to be a run off between PDP and CPC, no two way about it. it's going between north and south now.
spot on - unless pdp comes up with some miraculous overnight results
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Takes Early Lead by blacksta(m): 7:04pm On Apr 16, 2011
S-South (9.5m) + S-East (7.5m) is 2.8m voters short of the voting strength of the N-West (19.8m)

Until the ideolgogies of a large chunk of Nigerians change - we can never move forward-  How we keep rewarding a pdp dominated by theives and murderers beats my imagination and because of limited memory of Nigerians another crooked pdp politictian will come and romance you again in 4 years time.

Let the raping continue
