Sports › Re: Eagles Now 30th In FIFA Rankings by blank(f): 12:52pm On Feb 14, 2013
Desdola: After flogging Mali 4 - 1 in the nations cup, they are still ranked ahead of us. I fail to believe this crap.
Do you know anything about football at all? First do a little research on how FIFA calculate the rankings then you will understand.

Family › Re: Best Way To Correct Children by blank(f): 9:00am On Feb 13, 2013
It depends on the child. My first son does not respond to beating at all. In fact, he will turn it into a game. Isolation was just a waste of time cos he wont stay at all. But i realised that he responded well to deprivation/prizes as in carrot and stick method.

If i want him to finish his food, i will tell him that he can play with Barney when he is done and he will just start rushing the food. If he is playing roughly wilth his toys, i tell him that i will take them away if he continues like that. If he does continue, i take them away for the rest of the day. No amount of crying will make me change my mind. And he is just turning 2.

That has been my experience so far.
Properties › Re: Guide To Knowing Fraudulent Agents On Nairaland Properties Forum! Buyers Beware by blank(f): 8:48am On Feb 13, 2013
payless: The only way you can sanitize the property section from hoodlums and spammers is to require each poster to post their properties with pictures. The moment you start to delete posts with no pictures, then you know who has access to the property they are advertizing or who doesn't have access to the property. How can someone post a property for sale without setting eyes on the property or without knowing anything about the property? If you have access to a property you should be able to take pictures of the property and post it here.
What if the property owner specifically forbids the agent from posting pictures of his house online?

Nairaland General › Re: Motorized Patrol On Lagos-ibadan Express. No Overtaking by blank(f): 7:54pm On Feb 08, 2013
I remember FRSC doing this on the lagos to Benin expressway when I was much younger. They would turn back at a toll gate. Then, they used to at 120km/hr.

We used to turn it into a game, counting all the cars that joined us and singing welcome songs. Fun days indeed.

Let your brother tell her if he is still marrying or not instead of keeping her hanging. I get the feeling from your post, that she was a fling that got pregnant and he now wants to marry her because she is carring his baby. That is the wrongest reason to marry someone especially when you would never consider her before. You guys will just keep managing yourselves.

He should still take care of his baby financially and emotionally.

Family › Re: What Would You Do If You Were In My Shoes? by blank(f): 3:18pm On Feb 06, 2013
Why not go back to your old boss and ask him for your old job back. Forget ego and just grovel. If you were as good as you say you were then he may consider having you back. Nothing wrong with that.

It beats me how you can resign a job without holding an emplyment letter in your hand.
Family › Re: Pro And Cons Of Living Together With Your In-Laws. by blank(f): 2:06pm On Feb 06, 2013
No matter how nice and loving your in laws are, there will be conflicts.

It mught be that they feel they know what is best for you and how they expect a pregnant woman to act, feel and eat. It is left for you to manage such and remember the love your husband has for his family. Try and give in to their demands, avoid insisting on your own stuff and always remember to defer to them. When you are back in your house you can act the boss.

Don't let it be an extended stay cos familiarity breeds contempt.

fubbyy: if you cheat on your partner and your friend snitch on you by telling your soul mate, of course the snitch might stop you from cheating but do you think the friend has done well by spying and snitching? Hell no.
This is EXACTLY what you did to him and you said you didnt see it as wrong. He has done same to you so just take it on the chin.
