@ Inked Nerd, i keep swinging back and forth but i can proudly say that i have been meat, fish and egg free for the past one and a half months. Milk is another matter.

But i want ask, how healthy is a vegetarian diet for kids? I keep thinking that they are not getting enough protein.

I have tried to go vegetarian but it is so hard. My reason is cos i do not believe that meat is healthy at all. My parents have gone totally vegan as in they do not take milk, eggs, fish not just meat. Anytime, i visit them, i decide to follow their lead but my husband cannot fathom such. Everyday, "let us eat catfishh, isi-ewu, etc", "Make sure turkey na one whole lap else i no chop" and on and on. When i see him chopulating like that i start salivating and then break once but it then gets harder to go back.

I need more motivation, sigh.

I have gotten a new one. Every member of my family and my husband's family started walking at 7 months. I thought my son would break it as he is approaching 8 months but yesterday, he took his first steps all by himself. I am so proud of him.

I give up.It is too boring now. Will try again next season.

What is wrong with both of them? They need sense knocked into their heads. How can such a matter degenerate to the point of people taking sides? Don't they want to give their young marriage a chance? The longer it drags on the more entrenched in their positions they will become. How do u quarrel in d morning and then slee with each other in the evening without settling the quarrel?

All this is cos of lack of understanding and compromise. This is something they should both sit down and discuss. Maybe she can stay at home for a while and gather certificates, etc while looking after her kids, she can consider teaching or opening a creche in her house, etc. There is no cut and dried answer. They just av to find what will work for them.

I generally do not step into other people's business. But if na my kid, i 4 dash am slap number 2. How can u be so rude. However, i do not like people beating my kids cos some people have winch wey dey follow dem from village.

My mum had breast cancer and God told her to just believe in him that she does not need medical intervention. It was very very rough. She was so sick that i thought she would die. In fact, for the past 4 months, she could not eat solids just liqufied fruits and vegetables. We were all pressurizing her to "do the right thing" but she kept her faith in God so strong. A month ago, she started eating solids. Now, she just has a scar where there was a big wound and big lump on her breast. She went for scan as the lump has dissappeared. We are awaiting the results but i believe God has totally healed my mum. There shall be no more traces of cancer in Jesus name.

So what of those in employment? Do we walk up to our Finance unit and ask them to get us one? What if we have not worked for 3 years?

All the kids of one of my dad's brothers were all born in the same month, April. All 5 kids. Two of them are 25th and 26th of April.

Meen, baby cots can be so ridicuously expensive. But i got good use ot of mine. Just that now it is becoming redundant. My MIL went out and made one for me even though i insisted i did not want one. Cos after wedding, house rent, etc, money go begin yab u small small. You don't need to buy so called baby essentials if u will not need it.

Wish u well but a cot is a very good investment for your baby. U can get a carpenter to make one for you. Or just forget about getting a cot and co-sleep with your baby.
