Family › Re: Starting A Baby On Solid Food by blank(f): 3:47pm On Oct 04, 2011
You can start with custard and pap @ 6 months. Please, no sugar and only formula or breast milk. Then give him egg especially the yolk @ 7 months. The easiest soup for babies is okro with ugu (without ogbono) and small eba. U can also give rice, indomie, etc. Just avoid salt and honey for now. Introduce each new food individually and gradually in case he reacts (has allergies) to any of them. Leave like 4 days interval before any new meal. U can give oranges, tangerines, carrots, etc. Watch out for his reactions cos he might like some foods and not like others.

That is what i am doing with my baby now and he eats everything except bananas though in small quantities. Also, do not forget to continue breastfeeding or formula (with iron fortifications).
Health › Re: Pregnancy: I Don't Want To Have Stretch Marks. Help! by blank(f): 3:32pm On Oct 04, 2011
Bio Oil is a big fat lie. It is sold only to collect our money. I started using Bio oil consistently 4 months before i got pregnant and continued till now (my baby is 7 months). I saw the ugly stretch marks only when i had put to bed. My whole thighs, bosoms, and bum were covered in those ugly things and i am quite dark so imagine those things being very visible. I was in shock. It was only my tummy that was spared. It was original cos i bought all of the bottles in d UK. Nonsense thieves.

Abeg go for the Shea butter stuff. I mix it it with vaseline for my baby and his skin is so lovely though it does not have a good smell.

@JK, I did not understand what u meant. I thought I knew it all. My doctor said I had 2 wait at least a year and maximum 2 or 3. Just felt he was being alarmist. Afterall, I see people doing it with less space. My dream was always 2 av d first 2 with just a year gap n den go on with my life till I want another. Its just sad.

I have learnt a lot about CS that I did not know before. Guess I have 2 wait a bit.
Business › Re: Would You Buy A Car With A Bank Loan? by blank(f): 9:08pm On Oct 01, 2011
I will and I have. It is easier 2 pay in instalments than upfront. Who gets salary payment upfront (govt, politicians, etc). The rest of us get paid in bits n its not easy 2 save up that kind of money. The interest is not too bad.
Family › Re: 3 Caeserian Sections, 3 Girls -Should I attempt a 4th? by blank(f): 3:35pm On Oct 01, 2011
@ 2mch, the right side is d age while top side is d month of conception. I said no one should laugh at me. I got it on a topic here on Nairaland. It was accurate for my son, all my siblings, my inlaws n some friends I asked. Just thought I should share. I am using it to try for my next kid. If it works, it is all good, if not, nothing spoil.

Business › Re: Nigerian Banks With Best Interest Rates& Least Charges by blank(f): 11:00am On Sep 30, 2011
Diamond bank has a high yield deposit account. The interest rates are like 4.5% pa for 5million. U can withdraw ur money anytime, u can operate the account as a normal savings account (without a withdrawal book). There are other rates for lower and higher amounts. It is called HYDA account.
Family › Re: Parental Guide: Bringing Up A Child by blank(f): 8:54am On Sep 30, 2011
My kids will learn competitiveness from just observing me no matter what i do to avoid teaching them. God will help to meet or marry someone that can tone it down for them.

I will give the losers a price but a less price than the winners so that next time they will want the better price. Second best is really not good enough.

@ Temi, God will bless you with as many kids as you want. Remain strong and God will bless you hugely. Continue to love other people's kids and He will give you yours.

Outstrip:
Blank you are way out of line. You have labelled her a LovePeddler because of what? Please slow your roll. Haba. It is not easy being the wife or even the child of someone who is actually called not to talk of the one that believes his calling means he should be lazy. Where there not things you overlooked before you got married? Everybody did. So why are you labellingher a LovePeddler because she is scared of what the future holds. When your husband comes out of no where and says no kids because he has no money and yet he does not want to work then you canlabel yourself what you labelled her. Is it now a crime to have regrets.
If i am out of line, it is my business. I have said my opinion. If u did not understand the analogy i was making, it is your own business. Madam teacher, you have finished marking my script abi? I maintain my stance. God will not allow her to rubish the man's testimony. I am not talking of regrets, i am referring to her previous posts. She has made her bed and she will sleep on it. After all, if they had been swimming in "revenue" will anyone hearsuch rants? ABEG, MAKE I THROW MY STONE JEJELY.

Family › Re: A Lazy Husband by blank(f): 3:36pm On Sep 26, 2011
Just reading through her past posts shows she is a pretender. U married him cos he was available as u were tired of being on the shelf at 35 years. He was insisting on pre-sex but u held ur ground (so i wonder what kind of pastor he will make).

Now that u are married, ur eyes av cleared and u av seen life as it is. It is your bed and u must surely lie on it. God forbid that you destroy "his ministry" before it takes off by divorcing him or rubbishing his testimony. It will not happen.

I know your type. I had a classmate that was so wayward in school and had 2 abortions. Her scandalous lifestyle was so well known that she ran away from Lagos to UNN to continue her studies. Now, she is 32years and wants to settle down. Saw a fine upstanding man of God and sank her talons in. God saved the boy if not his ministry would av died just as it was starting cos she still continued her ruinous lifestyle. U can imagine someone trying to seduce her friend's fiance a week to the wedding.

God no go gree o.

I watched it live and direct. The organisation was tight and the show was good. However, how did Dare family come second?? I liked the first dance by the Ngwu family. It was so creative. Knack u Akpako aginst piracy and urinating in the wrong pace.

I have confirmed that the Uwani story is very fake and a BIG FAT LIE from someone who lives there and has no reason to lie to me. About Nsukka, i would need to ask around. Uwani and Nsukka are very different areas and towns if i may add.
Nairaland General › Re: Fake Posts On Nairaland: Whose Game Is This? by blank(f): 1:35pm On Sep 23, 2011
See desperation. Was the flood in Nsukka or in Uwani? Different place altogether.
