So Sanusi get small sense? |
Do u have self contained or miniflat for N150k? DO u accept 1 yr? |
I think it is Alapere Ketu. |
All these plenty stories cos you refuse to say you are wrong and have made a mistake. I agree, you are light years away. |
See what is calling someone a fool while ur d one arguing mindlessly about things u know nothing about. |
^^^^^ Did u mean to write N20,000 or N2,000? |
These Hyundai people don tire me. Shey the guy said he had found the problem? Now the car is even worse than ever. Before, it would buck when accelerating but now it is dragging back like it wont move. So frustrating. The annoying part was that i had to fight with them cos they said it was no longer under warranty. Is there any help from guys? What it is not; 1. Bad ignition coil 2. Bad fuel pump 3. Bad fuel injector 4. Not error codes 5. throttle sensor problem and others that i can not recall. |
Sometimes i feel we like to argue for the sake of argument. @ Femi4, u don't know and you do not want to know. Since, u do not know, why not listen to does who do? CAF has said they WILL use Head to Head so what r u arguing? All the permutations that have been listed have taken this into cognisance EXCEPT YOU. Instead of you to now agree that you made a mistake but you still insist on your arguments then include a proviso. Na wa o. |
Just take your time and do what you have to do. Wish u success in your papers. |
Which of them wanted u to give him a break? |
Very romantic topic. smh. ![]() |
I hope you were able to write ur exams? |
MrBrownjay, he might just want to sample outsiders opinions before discussing with her. Nothing wrong in getting "unbiased" opinions before his discussion. Who knows, he may get an angle to the whole dilemma that he would otherwise not have thought of. Just relax. @ OP, Why not keep her in Lagos until u stabilize in Katsina before bringing her. While your there, you may see business opportunities or schools for her. Just don't let the separation be a long one. |
@ $tunna, average cost of what u wrote down is actually in d neighbourhood of N150k which is d lowest estimate. I maintain my stance that Banana island is an expensive slum. Nothing so great about d place except the prices. When Lagos flooded, we saw pictures of cars and buildings submerged in flood. Someone who went to visit a friend there lost his benz to flood damage. Nothing different from d rest of Lekki, VI and mainland. Just Nigerians trying too hard 2 show off. |
Updates on Guinea's match? |
N1.6m for a Nigerian used Sonata? I laugh in Pidgin. |
Dhtml aka _mukina2. |
I asked my husband 4 his opinion. We both have differing opinions. I feel the dad shld av asked the husband and he feels its no big deal. However, we both agree that the op did not handle it well. Shld av diffused d situation. Maybe asked d husband 2 call d dad or just drop d issue 4 next time. Anyway, why is d FIl staying in dir house? He shld av stayed in a hotel n saved himself d embarrassment. My dad always sleeps @ a hotel when he visits. Its his thing. |
I am with JK on this one. My dad always calls my husband first b4 he calls me when it has anything 2 do with us as a family unit. There are days that he informs my husband of his general plans n I get to hear from my husband and not my dad. I feel it fosters good relationship btwn the 2 men. My husband doesn't really mind but my dad views it as total transparency n respect. My dad wanted 2 give me a wedding gift and he called my husband n told him b4 he mentioned it to me. Anyone that wants to come to my house has to inform my husband first whether my mum or his mum. That being said, the poster did not handle it well. As she had already told her dad 2 come, she should av left that part till another incident. How does she think her dad would av felt? |
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/09/mikel-enyeama-anichebe-rebel-against-nff/ Mikel, Enyeama, Anichebe rebel against NFF By Onochie Anibeze Shortly after Austin Eguavoen warned Samson Siasia about the attitude of Eagles’ players, Mikel Obi, Vincent Enyeama and Victor Anichebe were seemingly proving him right. Egavoen coached the Eagles before Siasia took over. He had described his experience with the players as “terrible” and warned that their attitude could pose stronger problems to Siasia than the opponents in match situations. “They would fake injuries and fail to turn up at the last moment and even those who turn up may lack the commitment in executing matches,” Eguavoen said. Wednesday night, as the Eagles made to leave on a chartered flight for Sunday’s Nations Cup match in Madagascar, the three players mentioned above turned nightmares to the technical crew and the federation. The team had planned to leave by 8.30 pm after their original 1 pm departure time was rescheduled. The change afforded them time to train in the evening. Calistus Ebare, one of the spokesmen of the team captured what happened in Mitchel Obi’s popular Radio Programme, Peak Soccer Moment on Raypower yesterday. Calistus later spoke with this reporter. His words: “Mikel complained about the flight arrangement that would see them stopping over in Congo or any other country to refuel. He wanted a direct flight and frowned at every arrangement the federation made. He refused to join the team bus as they made to leave for the airport. VictorAnichebe joined him. They remained in their room. Vincent Enyeama was against traveling on Wednesday. He preferred Friday and wondered why officials fixed departure for Wednesday. He also would not join the rest in the bus. Movement was delayed. Samson Siasia’s deputy, Simon Kalika, had to go upstairs to beg the players to join their colleagues. It was bad. The bus eventually left without them. The three players later showed up at the airport in another car. All these delayed their departure and they didn’t leave until 11 pm. That was a team that was scheduled to leave at 8.30 pm. The attitude of these players was not encouraging. I’m sure that if Siasia was sure that Yobo and Ike Uche had landed in Madagascar and if there were no withdrawals due to injury, he would have dropped the three players because Kalika who went to beg them was even left behind at the hotel. He made his way to the airport later. What I saw wasn’t good. That’s not how to work for victory. I can’t say all is well with the team.” On arrival from London for this assignment, Mikel Obi thanked Nigerians and the Federal Government for the concern everybody showed when his father was kidnapped by hoodlums three weeks ago. He said that he would, henceforth, show appreciation through dogged play for Nigeria. Could one reconcile his Wednesday night actions with his words on arrival? Another top official of the federation said that the action of the players would be investigated. |
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/09/supplier-of-bomb-materials-arrested/ BOMBING OF UN HOUSE: Supplier of bomb materials arrested By Jide Ajani, Ben Agande, Godwin Oritse, Oscarline Onwuemenyi, Inalegwu Shaibu & Victoria Ojeme ABUJA: The man who supplied materials for the making of Improvised Explosive Devices, IEDs, to members of the Boko Haram has been arrested by the State Security Service, SSS just as it emerged that the sect had sent 270 of its members to Yemen and Sudan for training on terrorism according to security sources trailing activities of the group. The break through in the arrest of the supplier of IEDs came as a result of confessional statements obtained from the arrested members of the sect, Babagana Ismail Kwaljima a.k.a Abu Summaya; and Babagana Mali a.k.a Bulama. In addition, Kwaljima and Mali have also told the authorities that they had taken part in some bombing ventures in some parts of the country. Vanguard gathered that both men confessed to having taken part in bombings in Bauchi, the Bauchi State capital and Maiduguri, the Borno State capital Information made available to Vanguard in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, yesterday, suggested that part of the reasons the bomber chose the UN House “may not be unconnected with earlier intelligence about the bombings which were planned for the city but which the authorities got wind of”. Adequate arrangements put in place In fact, according to a security chief, “there had been adequate arrangements put in place once we learnt of the plans of the sect members. That was why places like the Federal Secretariat, the National Assembly Complex, the headquarters of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Complex, and even some embassies were fully secured”. Information made available also indicated that the choice of the UN House by the sect may have been a last minute option “with the intention of inflicting maximum hurt and generating optimum though negative attention”. Already, the arrested supplier is making useful information to his interrogators. Meanwhile, on the issue of a seeming shoddiness in the handling of the intelligence about the intended bombing in Abuja, another security source told Vanguard that “the nature of the intelligence we got was not target-specific and, therefore, what happened was a situation where we prioritized the areas of coverage”. However, the UN House missed the radar of the intelligence and security communities. “Knowing the pattern of the activities of the group we moved to save-guard some strategic locations in the capital city”, Vanguard was told. FG to conduct integrity test on shattered building The Federal Government yesterday announced that it will carry out integrity tests on the devastated United Nations Common Office in Abuja to ascertain the state of the entire structure. The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed who dropped this hint yesterday while inspecting the shattered complex, located at the Ambassadorial Enclave in Abuja, noted that the test will assist the government take informed next line of action in its efforts to get the place back on track. He pointed out that a reputable building construction company would be engaged to conduct the integrity test to assess the extent of damage on the building. Senator Mohammed revealed that the FCT Administration is already working out ways of getting alternative office accommodation for all the United Nations Agencies occupying the common office to enable them continue with their humanitarian duties in the country. The Minister also visited some of the victims at the the National Hospital. He encouraged them to have faith and see what happened to them as sacrifice for peace and common good of humanity; promising that the government will do everything to provide the best medical care to enable them recover speedily. Senator Mohammed thus directed the FCT Secretary of Health and Human Services, Dr. Onakomaiya Ademola to specifically attend to the additional and personal needs of the victims particularly the cleaners and local security men who are not on the employment of the United Nations. FCT convenes security meetings fortnightly The Minister further revealed that the Federal Government has commenced the installation of close circuit television CCTV to cover the Federal Capital City, Abuja. To ensure that government is on top of security situation in Abuja, Senator Mohammed disclosed that henceforth the FCT Administration will convene security meeting every fortnight to compare notes. According to him, “We will be more proactive in intelligence gathering to nip any security challenge in the bud.” The Minister urged residents to report any suspicious movement to the law enforcement agents by assisting with useful information because security is a collective responsibility. According to him, attack on any individual or section of the society is an attack on Nigeria and therefore desires collective approach to confront the spineless act; insisting that this ugly trend is unacceptable. Senator Mohammed enjoined Nigerians to pray for the nation as it strives to become one of the most developed countries of the World. While guaranteeing the residents of adequate security of lives and property irrespective of political or religious affiliation, Senator Mohammed assured that all security outfits in the Federal Capital Territory are adequately prepared to be on top of any unexpected criminal activities during and after the festive period. The Minister reassured residents of the Federal Capital Territory that the FCT Administration is committed to providing an enabling environment that will make Abuja maintain its lead role of being an all inclusive city in the country. Meanwhile, the United Nations Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative, Mr. Daoudu Toure who led the FCT Minister round the devastated UN Common Office revealed that 130 persons were victims of the blast (both the dead and the injured). The Minister was accompanied on the visit by the FCT Chief of Staff, Alhaji Musa Umar Yashi; the FCT Secretary of Health and Human Services, Dr. Onakomaiya Ademola. SSS besiege National Assembly complex Operatives of the State Security Service, SSS have also taken over the National Assembly complex Abuja in the aftermath bomb blast at UN house. The security operatives who are well armed with sophisticated weapons and other security equipment now manned the main entrance to the National Assembly aside police men and the Sergeant-At-Arms, the official security operatives of the National Assembly. The presence of the security operatives has restricted the flow of vehicles and pedestrians into the complex as the stern looking SSS operatives barricaded the main entrance with one of the hilux pick-up trucks, while one of the gates to the complex was shut completely. Previously, gates to the complex were opened till 6Pm. There was also the usual stop and search party by the Sergeant-At-Arms, while members of the police used electronic bomb detecting machine to scan vehicles for bombs before being allowed into the national assembly. The gun wielding SSS operatives assisted by the assembly security personnel ensured that both the assembly staff and those who have one business or the other in the complex wore their identity cards and entrance permits. |

@ Plappyville, u are very right. I moved my oga to his own cot but recently, i have just been too tired to carry him back to his cot when he wakes up. That is why he has the temerity to kick me in d back if i am not fast in waking up or he bites my husband's elbow. God knows we try but there are times it takes God's grace. When he wakes up in his cot, the kind of cry he cries eh, will wake the whole street. Can't wait for him to outgrow this nightfeeding business. I don't know how to phrase this update on my friend. I went to visit her over the sallah hols and found her in a great mood. It seems like the doctors were able to isolate what was causing her inability to conceive (and the miscarriage) and they said it is treatable. Can't really remember the medical terms. So the miscarriage she had has brought its own good luck. She is willing to go for the treatment so that is already a good step. I pray God finishes what he started. I have shown her this thread and she was so touched that she cried. She is grateful for the prayers and good wishes and says she is doing well. Though i doubt she will register on Nland. Thanks guys for your help. |
^^^^^ I have always wondered at that policy. So if i got pregnant during my annual leave, they won't give me time off to have my baby? What if i am aving high blood pressure and the doctor prescribes bed rest @ 8 months, i should resign or they will fire me? I took study leave and had my baby. Now, i am still looking at how to bend the rule to my favour cos they said there has to be a gap of 2 yrs. That is a bit unfair. |
for as long as baby demands ke? So, baby doesn't want junior abi? I will continue till he is 9 months and then water from then on. If he still doesnt get the message, i will send him to his grandmother. Even with all the eba, custard, cereal, cow and gate he eats before he sleeps, he still wakes me up 3 or 4 times a night. Sometimes, it feels like its a habit cos he doesnt eat much. He is 6 months now and i want my nights back. Besides, he bites more at night. ![]() |
Just seeing this. How do i reach u b4 the deadline? |
