Pls, if she wants to do a natural birth, let her do so. I wish i had a natural birth but things happen. I still want a natural birth but it is impossible now. God dey.

Had an emergency CS and it was horrible. I did not immediately bond with my baby as i was trying to get through the pain and it was hard. It took almost 3 weeks to feel that "bond". Anywayz sha, i dey ready to av pikin nos 2 but the pikin dey take style late.

I was in a discussion with my dad and some people some years ago (more than 10yrs ago). We were talking about this wife beating issue. My dad said equivocally, that a woman has to stay in her marriage no matter what as God hates divorce. I av a lot of respect for my dad so i bought into the whole idea wholesale. i.e It is a woman's cross to carry, no matter what u see in ur marriage. That is why u should take the utmost care in picking a spouse.

However, 6 yrs ago, we had to go and see his only sister in the hospital. Seems her husband had been beating her and that particular beating was so bad that she was on life support in the hospital (this woman was almost 50 yrs then). My dad shed tears and regretted advising her to stay in her marriage though he always beat her and treated her harshly. Well, she lived but moved out and is staying in her own house in the same state. This gave me a whole new view to this wife beating issue.

However, what i noticed is that people use it to insult her, even her kids keep saying she should go back to her husband's house that she wants to shase young men   When her daughter was getting married, it was hell on earth. Thank God for support from well meaning people. These are some of the kind of issues that divorced women go through which make them refuse to leave.

I, my kids and my siblings should never have to experience such. it is too traumatic.

My daddy gave me money until i started working. Even then, he used to give me one or two things. Even when i just got married, he gave my husband and i a sizeable amount of money as "settlement" and still paid for my masters and living expenses there. I like that and want to do same for my daughters. But boys, no way. U start hustling as soon as u fininsh NYSC.

I was am a daddy's girl. Can't apologize to anyone.

My own laziness is too much. I would rather replace automatic transmission than do that clutch brake, clutch accelerate, clutch change gear and still change clutch transmission . Time no dey.

@ Sienna, it is not just about learning to drive properly. Many people learnt to drive with manual. But meeen, the traffic and what it does to your knee. My calf, my knees, in fact my whole legs are always complaining after the drive. Also, u would av to change the clutch (after i have drive[b]n[/b] it).  Modified before English begin kill me.

Pls no one should crucify me, i just want to state my own view. Why is it wrong to want to take in 3 months after a child? It is not like the baby will be born immediately. You will have 9 months to get over the pain of labour. I am trying to take in again actually since my baby was 4 months but no luck yet. Do it now during your NYSC as when u start working, ur office might tell you to wait a yr or till you are confirmed before you can apply for maternity leave and most companies do not employ pregnant women.
