I tried. The last place b4 where I am now. We went to meet the landlord directly. He agreed 4 us to stay but insisted we meet the agent. The agent collected 20% of the 1 year rent as we were not paying 2 yrs and still collected 10% as lawyers agreement. These landlords sef. We left after 4 months as the place became unbearable to live in. No refund of anything though we gave adequate notice and it was written in d agreement.

Bottomline, all Lagos landlords are the same - greedy.

Wasteful.

The final bus stop is Ajah but I have seen them at night at the last Conoil before Greensprings. There were up to 7 there! Don't know if that is there terminal or dey all just stopped to buy fuel there.

I av been thinking about it. For the brt idea to work like on the mainland there would av 2 be a dedicated lane. If dey decide to do that, means we would be left with 2 lanes just as b4 but will still be paying toll.

@ 8 months, your baby needs a little helpful nudge from you. There is a possibility that u carry the baby a lot. Try and set him down where he can crawl then put his toys just a bit out of his reach and encourage him to get it. Also, put him in a walker once in a while and repeat the toy trick. Encourage him as much as possible but avoid carrying him except it is essential.

your his mother so u will make the ultimate decision. U may start introducing more solids esp fruits and vegetables. U would be surprised at wat he would eat. Babies taste the flavours of the food we eat in the breastmik. Don't be worried. Babies @ 8 months can handle adult foods as long as there is no salt.

Doren is actually BEFORE Crown estate not after, located in Sangotedo near Safeway Hospital. D thing about playgroups n creches is that u actually av 2 go there and look around 2 establish its d type u want. I am actually looking out for a Christian creche that practices ACES. Haven't' seen yet.

However, a friend recommended Greater Scholars while another recommended one that I av forgotten the name. It is inside Crown estate which is better located 4 me as its near my inlaws. Wish u success.

I had the baby in Lag just 3 days to my trip to US so had 2 abort the trip. I moved Mr Blank 2 d guest room! He almost rolled on the baby the first night he slept with the baby and i and kept us awake. Anytime he did a real loud one, the baby shuddered. The 2nd and last time he slept in the room, the baby started imitating his snoring and has now refused to stop snoring .

All u need to do is give him "tummy time". Put him on his tummy and he will start carrying his head. I started when my baby was 2 weeks, would av started earlier but he was preterm. By the time he was 4 weeks, he could hold up his head and turn it while sleeping with just the occasional wobble when he wants to sleep.

Also, u could "press his body with hot water". The water is not boiling hot just hotter than normal like the one u use to press your stomach after giving birth. It makes their bones strong and agile.

Give him more solid foods than just pap. He is 6 months.

I would advise you to put the child in a creche not a school. In Abraham Adesanya, Crown Estate, etc there are a number of them. You have to go there and look around. I am sure there are really nice ones. Cant help u much. I just moved to Lekki so havent looked out yet for such things. Pls, wen u find a hospital,let me know. I need to change mine cos Surulere is too far.

I was 4.3kg at birth. Was scared that my baby will be big as both my husband and i are tall with heavy bones. Surprisingly, i had such a small tummy that at 5 months, people were asking if i really was pregnant as i was still wearing my old clothes without much of a bulge.

My baby came 5 weeks early and weighed 2.3kg. I was so scared but now, at 6 weeks he weighed a healthy 3.9kg. thank God, he came out early.

I was in the canopies so i felt that those inside will be receiving ac as i av written ICAN exam inside and i know the ac chills well. Also, i didn't get crackers, didn't even know that they gave any out.

I came at 11a.m saw the very long crowd, went somewhere to eat and sleep. Returned by past 1 and entered inside with minimum fuss and saw what i wrote earlier. I got home by 9pm.

The woman that was invigilating our side said she won't disturb anyone so people were using calculators, collaborating, etc. The lady sitting beside me who had been ignoring me since i got there despite all my items to be friendly, turned and asked if i was good at maths so that we could collaborate. I totally ignored her like she had been ignoring me.

The Amuwo Odofin (ICAN) center in Lagos was relatively orderly n pips sat in air conditioned rooms. However, a lot of folks had 2 sit outside under canopies with plenty sun n heat. The queues were too long. The staff took a looooong break n ate lunch from 1:30 till 3:30pm. Test started by 4:30. See enough collaboration!

He doesn't need 2 vindicate anyone. What he has done is 2 keep someone's funds tied up for almost a year n return it without interest. This is what them governors do, fix d money, collect d interest n pay after 4 months. He has used the money 2 settle his personal issues and then started lagging behind in his business dealings. 9 months!!! Na real wa o.

My husband is d best dancer dat I know. Unfortunately, I av never seen him dance. I just heard about it. Dose dat knew him b4 he gave his life 2 Christ tell me he is a fantastic dancer. There was a show in school and he and his friends performed. Everyone was overwhelmed. Since he gave his life 2 Christ, he hasn't danced since even at our wedding!
When I tackled him on d matter cos I am a good dancer n I love dancing, he said dat he feels ridiculous dancing cos of his height (he is 6"8 ). He said dat he saw a really tall guy dance at a club and looked really silly though he danced well. That was d last time he danced. God help me. Will still keep trying.
