xmasgift: Dear @Vicjustice and @justwise , could you pls advice on below, I have a 6mth multiple entry UK visa which I have used once and is valid till May. I plan on going to the UK for summer in June/July but by then, the visa would have expired. Do you think I could go ahead to apply for the 2 yrs UK visa now or do I wait until this visa expires in May? Tks. You can apply now as long as it is not more than 3 months before your intended travel date. If they issue you a visa, it will be dated from when your current visa expires. Speaking from my own experience. |

OAM4J: Abeg let's solve this problem of power once and for all, so I wish Fashola is given the assignment.
Oshiomole will be good for works.
I wish to see Pat Utomi, Soludo, Fayemi and Oby in Economic team. Even Fashola won't be able to solve the rot that is the power sector. We, Nigerians, are the issue. Except he is ready to pull out everything and start from scratch without Nigerians, I don't see him making any appreciable impact. |

I feel so sorry for the poor baby. Seems she was meant to be part of a set of triplets but the egg didn't divide correctly. Now, you can see the other sister that didn't totally divide and also the third one that didn't grow more than a fetus is what they are calling elephant's trunk. |
Politics › Re: Mathematically, Is It Possible For PDP To Still Win This Presidential Election by blank(f): 2:22am On Mar 31, 2015 |
OAM4J: The calculation is that they will get 3M from Rivers and Delta only and another differential of 1.5M from Bayelsa, Edo, Ebonyi, Cross River and Taraba. Giving them a total of 4.5M Differential.
The challenge is for APC to produce a differential that is well above 2.5M from their remaining states, as it stands...its not so easy am not sure Bauchi diffrential is as much as you stated. I doubt PDP can get up to 3m from Delta and Rivers. I think Delta state is just about 800k while Rivers is 1.6m. |

I clearly remember a couple of "Prophetic" predictions coming from notable "Men of God" who claimed have forseen d 2015 election not holding in their new routine of making yearly predictions, to what end is what I still don't get. I still remember their ardent students/followers always quick to broadcast the "coming to pass" of these predictions. I'm jus wondering why none of them has yet to explain why dis particular well publicised predictions concerning the elections didn't come to pass.... By the way congratulations to all Nigerians who have really allowed their votes to decide whoever becomes the next president. Let us continue to do well in making sure we remain law abiding and accept the results in good faith while the aggrieved pesins seek their redress from the designated authorities... Congratulations to whoever wins tooo Mention their names na. |

Anyway, lets not forget they defies the court ruling on military deployment, we have seen how the military clearly works for them by harassing the opposition. Let's just wait for the results... #TeamGMB The court rule was that military should be at least 300m from any polling booth. Did you see any military near the polling stations? tiebe: i have read and read about it, and asked around. i'm meant to bathe, then feed her at d same time every evening. then when she is fully fed, her nappy clean, i put her down in her cot to let her fall aslp herself. she will cry for attn and i go to check her at reducing intervals but not to pick her up. Also create an enabling environment by making the lighting dim, cot comfortable, temp okay. Don't just go cold turkey on her, lead up to it gently. Also, before that time, get her on a schedule that you adhere to as per timing. She needs to get used to certain things being done at certain times. So that she won't feel abandoned and it will be so disheartening for her. |

nickxtra: Of recent, between 8 and 9pm and at times 10pm 10months old? My 2 year old still sleeps by 7pm and by then he is so fagged out. He sleeps for 1 hr in the afternoon and wakes up every morning without fail by 5am. 10pm is too late for a baby IMO. Sometimes, babies fight sleep. They will be running around like energy bunnies but they are really sleepy and need to be put down for a nap. Unlike adults, they do not just go and sleep because they are sleepy, they need you to put them down to bed. My advice is to not allow her sleep more than 2 hrs in the afternoon and ensure she has her nap early like around noon. In the night, maybe around 8pm put her down for her night sleep and ensure she is quiet. From there, she will sleep off. I like 5am as a waking up time as it helps to get used to Lagos way of life. Just ensure she gets enough sleep in between. |

felele: Before the next 2 years are over, you will be saying VI and "Lekki" are far away from Amen Estate.
Check out the Lagos and Lekki Free Trade Zones and the largest Deep Sea Port in West Africa, all under construction within 10 minutes of Amen Estate. Not to mention the new 3 terminal Airport planned for the area. Note that ALL these projects are privately owned. The state government is trying to get private developers to take up the Airport project as well on a BOT basis. Notices already went out inviting tenders from interested private sector organisations for the construction and operation of the Terminal 1 runway and terminal.
Don't miss this rather profitable boat. 6 years down the line and your prophecy has not come true yet. It is not even close to coming true. Amen Estate is still too far from livable areas. |
