Hmmmm, my dear some people are that heartless. I pray our network operatives make use of that tactics. If it were to be in a developed country, those kids would have been found, the moment the first call was made by the kidnappers they'd trace it. But we hardly take things serious in this country. I hope the kids are found soon, but watch it, if they dont find them, by this time next week, lots of people would forget about it and move on with their lives... We lack consistency in my dear country. embarassed sad
How will they have been found in developed countries? Don't we still have cases of missing children/people that have never been found? There are also unsolved cases of homicide, armed robbery, rape etc. Don't over-hype abeg.

That being said, we have already started forgetting. I really pity their mum.

By reading the write up i came to the understanding that the oba's outburst could have been o political move to enable the pdp tp win the election in Lagos. But at the same time we should ask ourselves did the Oba actually make such a tribalistic comment or not?
Seems you have been living under a rock. The audio and video have been on front page.

I also didn't vote for a reason known to me.

one thing I need to know is, are the two leading candidates not Yoruba? if truly the igbos want to punish the Oba, should it be by voting one of the yorubas rather than vote their own candidate?

To me, the so called protest vote does not make sense..
I don't know about protest votes. A lot of Igbos that I know did not go out to vote. As for me, I am still chilling in Enugu.

But Ambode and APC can be blamed?
Yes. The Oba whipped up anti-Igbo sentiments and by extension Pan-Yoruba sentiments in favour of the APC. I have friends and neighbors who didn't vote cos they were scared of violence.

Abeg, this is hogwash. Many Igbo people, including me, have traveled to the East and won't be back till after elections. The difference is going to be really huge and PDP will die a natural death in Lagos. After Lagos has been in opposition for so long, this is the time to enjoy being in power with the "center".

My dad bought mine and my flip non camera motorola for quite a lot money. I also bought Nitel's "Rose". It was the best. Free sms to other Nitel numbers, free night calls to other Nitel numbers, etc. This was when others were still on 50naira per minute calls.

It got stolen and it was too much hassle to replace. I even went to State Force CID in Ikoyi to report my lost phone. They kept staring at my audacity.

But the sad or happy truth ( whichever way the man wants to look at it) is that there is no marriage for the court to dissolve, since they didn't do any court marriage, which is the only recognized marriage under Nigerian Law embarassed

So legally, the dude is free to throw out his fornicating wife and forcefully take custody of his kids (if he can)....
As far as Nigerian law is concerned, they have been fuccking each other without commitment since the time of John The Baptist smiley

But considering they had a customary marriage and have dragged each other before a customary court, I hope the court does well to settle their wahala... but legally, they have no enforcible claims over each other embarassed
Read up on family law so that you won't sound so ignorant. Customary or traditional marriage is recognised under Nigerian law.

Cowards everywhere.

If the story is real, whats stopping the man and OP from going live on a TV station to tell it as it is?

I don't particularly like APC/Ambode but this reeks of character defamation, political assassination and grand cowardice.
The story is real. My husband knows him although from a distance. Once he heard the story, he called him up and the guy admitted it was true. He is so bitter about losing the house as well as all his family members.
