The quest of the Igbo to ascend the presidency seat in 2015 brightened yesterday as facts emerged that the tribe may have extracted a commitment from President Goodluck Jonathan to handover power to them in 2015.
Noooooooooooooooooooo. cry

I say this is going to be very interesting. grin

It will be a miracle for GEJ to win the presidential ticket with Atiku as the Northern consensus candidate for the same PDP.

I got married less than two years ago after dating for about one and a half year. Our courtship was fun with lots of good memories. Although we had some disagreements during the courtship, it was on the whole a very positive and enjoyable experience.
You have not started yet.
Please come back in 20 years.

Terrorists in the west too? shocked

The naval intelligence officers who spoke, but declined to mention their names said the hardware were allegedly imported in the container tagged personal effect but which contents turned out to be weapons when proper examination was conducted.
Is that right?

“These are my personal effect, this whole issue is so unnecessary; it is almost like a stage event. It is almost embarrassing to call myself a military man among the kind of thing that is happening right now,” the importer who was identified as Sheidu explained.
Six trucks mainly used for military combat maneuvers and some military uniforms, a carton of bullets, an automatic pistol, military boots and tents
"Personal effects"huh undecided

A Y A K A T A B O N G O

The idea that yours needs an apostrophe comes out of the fact that on virtually every other word, 's indicates possession, so illiterate Abokis sometimes think yours should be spelled your's. However, this is always incorrect - yours is the only correct spelling.Though you may see your's written even by native speakers and Yorubas, it is incorrect. Yours should never have an apostrophe

It seems English is not your thing, which is fine, you can always pay me to post for you. wink
Good! Not bad for an aboki huh?
Next one please.
I am tired of reading mine's. wink

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atiku_Abubakar

Background
Abubakar came up the ranks of the ruling PDP primarily, due to the pivotal role he played in its formation. He was also an ardent opponent of General Sani Abacha, the late dictator. Atiku's source of wealth has caused some curiosity among Nigerians but that also goes for many other wealthy Nigerians. He has said in a new biography yet to be published that he made his money, "through wise investments, hard work and sheer luck of being at the right place at the right time".

Atiku attended Jada Primary School, 1954–1960, Adamawa Provinsional School, Yola, 1961 to 1965, with Advance Level studies in Economics, British Economic History, Government and Hausa Language, School of hygiene Kano, 1966–1967, graduating with Royal Society of Health Diploma, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1967, graduating with Diploma in Law, in 1969

Atiku joined the Customs and Excise department in 1969, serving in Seme, Kano, Maiduguri, Kaduna, Ibadan and Lagos. He rose to the rank of Deputy Director (second in command nationwide), with a notably impeccable service record. Since then, he has attended courses in Leadership Management, Drug Enforcement and Control in Finland, Egypt and United States of America.
You are the man I say.
I will vote for you.

I love you sir.

Atiku, who signed a statement, which was released barely five minutes after the announcement, paid tributes to his co-aspirants –former military President Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, Gen. Aliyu Gusau and Governor Bukola Saraki.
One of the most cultured and civilized human beings I have ever met in my life states:

"I commend Nigerians for their patience, understanding, support and prayers.  I shall need the support of all as I seek the mandate to be the flag-bearer of the PDP in the 2011 presidential election.
Jonathan, you don lose, you don lose, you don lose!!!

OBJ, you don die, you don die, you don die!!!

"In the days ahead I shall be addressing the press, and will continue to unfold my agenda for providing good governance and building a new Nigeria for all Nigerians, irrespective of their ethnic, religious or sectarian affiliations.  With your support and prayers we shall make good things happen."
Ran ka de de!!!
Sanu!!!

This man is too much. I have faith in him like I have NEVER had in any other.

Abubakar's first and most senior wife Hajia Titi Abubakar, is believed to be an Ilesha-born Roman Catholic, hailing originally from the Togolese Republic; together they have four children and five grandchildren.

He has three other wives:

Rukayat (the daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, an influential monarch whom her husband served as a ranking nobleman of his kingdom); Fatima, a lawyer based in Lagos (Kanuri From Borno State)

and Jamila (Formerly Jennifer Iwenjiora, an Ibo woman from Onitsha, who was a former television newscaster and who attained her doctoral degree in the United States).

As a result, political associates and critics tend to agree that Atiku is one of the most detribalized northern Muslim aristocrats.

LAGOS Nov 22 (Reuters) - Northern factions within Nigeria's ruling party have agreed on former vice president Atiku Abubakar as a consensus candidate to challenge President Goodluck Jonathan in primaries ahead of elections next April.
I am sooooooo glad. smiley
He will make a fine president.
His wives and children come from ALL parts of Nigeria.

I think I will choose either Titi Atiku or Jemila Atiku for First lady. kiss

Family › Re: Why Incest Is On The Rise In Nigeria by Blazay(m): 12:24pm On Nov 21, 2010
My candid advice for parents is as follows:

• Start teaching your children about sexuality education from 18months(there is what to teach from that age -18years)

• Separate boys and girls from age 3

• Do a routine check up on your children at odd hours of the day

• Warn your children to learn to keep their personal space by not jumping on adults or sitting on their laps ( especially your girl child)

• Mothers should pay close attention to their children and report once you notice anything.

• The offender should be made to face the full wrath of the law (I am aware that we try to keep it a family affair but we have to learn to protect the future of a child)

• Go through any material you get for your children including cartoons before allowing them see it because some of those cartoons and games aren't family friendly.

• Nobody can love your child more than you so do everything to be there for them, ask questions and answer their questions as well.
Good tips.
