I don't understand what you typed but if you remove the 2 afonja senators from the 15, you have 13. APC has already lost support in the north central no thanks to the killings by Fulani herdsmen
If u are not conversant with happens in English and European transfer market and leagues, u won't get what i am trying to say... grin

As for the North Central, it still won't be a whitewash for d APC...it will be close...and the deficit will be garner in other zones...watch out...though it won't be as smooth as 2015...APC got this for now.

Kogi 50-50,

Olodo-din-iyan my man....continue ehn... grin

As far as I don't care about what happens to the man in pain, it is funny that PDP is still playing this kinda politics at dis hour...How can 4 men impeach a sitting Gov...who would do such? Even when his stupidity and recklessness was at its peak nobody attempted such...so it is now that he's a lame duck that one would want to inflict more pain on d poor man.

We are not in OBJ's regime...he was d one who used State's houses of assembly to oust sitting Govs at will...Imagine OBJ is at d helms of affairs now...I wonder where fayose would be by now.

He should rest for now and enjoy d next 3 months...I won't say more than that...if u know u know grin

Now this is a genuinely pained BMC. Sorry bro.
I don't even know why anybody should be pained about what played out...I have predicted it since Saraki went behind his Party's (APC) back to become Senate President...so why should i be pained dat my predictions came to pass.

And in case u've not noticed my sister, Saraki and Dogara failed in their mission...oh, u still can't figure the reason they remain in APC while their colleagues moved and postponed plenary till September?

The thing is that...anywhere in d world...the majority presides over d Legislature...Bukola and Dogara are walking on a slim rope...And b4 we talk about Buhari's chances, let's 1st focus on whether those 2 will survive beyond 2018 in their various seats.

NsukkaDeeje:
I still repeat, most people do not understand that as it stands, Saraki and Dogara are in deep poo. The mass defection may have failed as APC has regained majority of both houses. Constitutionally, Saraki and Dogara cannot attempt to leave APC, otherwise they will lose their positions as senate president and speaker respectively. The plenary was merely adjourned to buy time and see if more lawmakers will leave APC. Otherwise, Saraki and Dogara just dug their own graves.
I don't know what Oshiohmole-led APC is doing i swear...they should just expel these mofos already and get ride of them...or is it until when they come back to wreck more havoc?

Adams should find time to watch some episodes of House of Cards abeg.

Yes, Atiku has been patient.

Remember he has never been fielded as any party's presidential candidate. And Apart from how Obasanjo thwarted his efforts, I see no difference between him and other politicians. They are all corrupt. So?

And need I remind you that most of those in APC are people whose ambitions could not be fulfilled in the PDP. From Tambuwal to Saraki to Amaechi and a whole lot of others. So there is basically no difference between both parties and I still don't understand why APC supporters can't see that

PDP will definitely have cracks. But look at the picture this way. Some of those defecting have nothing to lose. They practically will not be fielded in APC. So to spite the party, they defect with whatsoever followers they have. Thats just the little edge they gave to the PDP. They may not get the ticket they wanted, but their goal is to score a point for the future.
Hmm..u've got some points there sha...time will tell ...let's wait and see how it all plays out.

This Ganduje seems to be overhyped to me. Or maybe it's me that doesn't know much.

I have this feeling all of them will rally around Atiku. Atiku has been patient enough(I respect him for that) and with the way they all are flocking in, something might be cooking which we don't know of

PS: I'm not talking about governance and integrity oh. I'm just saying in this political battle field, Atiku deserves a chance to contest
Atiku has been patient? You don't mean that, do u huh grin

If he had been, he would have probably become Nigeria's President by now...but he was inpatient and desperate.

One thing is for sure...those that are flocking into PDP have ambitions, ambitions that can't be fulfilled in APC...some have even noticed they won't get return tickets on APC's platform and PDP cajoled them with automatic tickets knowing fully well they won't be able to return to APC after d primaries....but do u actually think PDP won't have cracks heading to 2019?

I'd appreciate if you take out Ortom from your list. He's useless to both parties right now. He's part of those that rode to victory using Buhari's name

You're right though. But Kwankwaso is not as useless as they tag him to be. He's very useful for victory

Na to dey watch sha
I agree with you...Kwankwaso is a movement in Kano and would hurt Buhari's and boost PDP's chances in Kano...only if he's running for an office...but i doubt if he can outwit both Ganduje and Buhari as a non-Presidential candidate.
PoliticsRe: Saraki Opens Up On Leaving Buhari, APC by blazer2018: 9:29am On Jul 26, 2018

True talk

But sometimes, remember that it's not all about the governors. Remember in 2011, Jonathan won Lagos despite the fact that Tinubu fielded Ribadu. It's not all about the governors sometimes

Some of these governors were put there too. They have no followers except from those from their godfathers
You may be right but let me tell u why GEJ won Lagos in 2011...Tinubu and CPC were on d table to negotiate a merger but it fell thru at d last minute...hence Tinubu just siddon look knowing full well that Ribadu can't win...didn't bother to campaign against GEJ in Lagos
PoliticsRe: Saraki Opens Up On Leaving Buhari, APC by blazer2018: 9:25am On Jul 26, 2018
izzou:
I'd appreciate if you understand my message

All I'm saying is people helped him to get there. Let's stop assuming that the name of Buhari will win it all

If you field Buhari in a political party and Kwankwaso in another political party(Say APC and PDP), and they both contest for presidency, Kwankwaso will win him in Kano

If you field Buhari in a political party and Tinubu in another political party, and they both contest for presidency, Tinubu will win him in Lagos.

That's my point. Saying the defection means little to APC doesn't make sense to me. It was still this same defection that contributed to PDP's loss
Kwankwaso can never win PDP primaries...except maybe if he runs on an ADC ticket...and d difference between d said defections is that...unlike then that 7 Governors moved...d numbers are fewer now...Kwankwaso was in Power then...even now, apart from Saraki...Orthom is a drowning man...Kwankwaso has a performing Gov in Ganduje to battle against...Tambuwal too won't have it funny in Sokoto because he won't get d PDP ticket...I might be wrong sha...but time wll tell
PoliticsRe: Saraki Opens Up On Leaving Buhari, APC by blazer2018: 9:19am On Jul 26, 2018
izzou:
huh

Maybe I'm wrong, but I wonder how you guys think that this defection won't mean anything to Buhari's chance

For heaven's sake, Buhari contested in 2007 and 2011 and he didn't even win half of the whole northern region. This should tell you that people actually helped him achieve this, not his name.

2015 was a whole different atmosphere in politics. Nigerians were tired of PDP. The elections was biased withreligion, ethnicity but 2019 is going to a totally different game.

We got lesser than what we expected, the battle is now between men of the same race and religion.

I may be wrong, but I know that on a presidential level, Buhari cannot win Kwankwaso in Kano, Buhari cannot win Atiku in Adamawa, Buhari cannot win Ringim in Jigawa.
I may be wrong too...but go and write it down, Buhari will floor Kwankwaso in Kano...Have u forgotten that Buhari had 12, 6.5, and 12.5 million votes respectively even when he was not in Power...when he was in regional parties...when his party controlled just a few states...Have u forgotten Buhari once defeated this same Kwankwaso in Kano?

If APC is able to restrict the defections to d ones dat happened on Tuesday and those of Saraki, Dogara, and Tambuwal, by the time the election starts, Buhari will have at least 22-23 Govs to work with...Power of incumbency...to mention but a few.

Note: the last time Atiku ran, he managed just 2.6 million votes...and he has always lost his party's primaries except for once...and i wait to see wat happens after d PDP primaries...and to think USA will have any affection or sympathy for a wanted person in d states baffles me.

PoliticsRe: PDP Vrs BUHARI Chances In 6 Geo-political Zones. by blazer2018: 11:05pm On Jul 25, 2018
I don't know about dis permutations o, but one thing i know is that 2019 will be a close one between PDP and APC....ADC won't even have a good showing...except maybe when Kwankwaso loses d PDP ticket and then ports to ADC.

For Lagos, we know how much GEJ spent in Lagos to get d number of votes he got...plus he had d Igbos and Christians in Lagos vote for him back then...but now, it's North versus North...So i see Buhari clearing Lagos...PDP is as good as dead in Lagos, except a miracle happens b4 Feb in Lagos PDP, Buhari will daze Atiku in Lagos hands down.

If d tsunami going through APC stops as it is now...and Buhari is able to complete d projects he's doing around d country and reduce drastically d killings going on around d country...he might not even shed a sweat come 2019.
