One thing i know is that Afenifere has lost its relevance in South West polity since d last days of Pa Ayo Adesanya...they no longer have d power or influence to sway South West voters.

That bn said, Buhari will have his way with d Yorubas simply because the South West has never had it better since d return of democracy to Nigeria.


The projects that had bn abandoned by successive govts are now bn completed and new ones started...Key MDAs are now bn headed by Yorubas...plus d Yorubas have d no2 citizen-d one they voted for, not d betrayer d northern elites used to placate d West for June 12.

I have known OBJ for some time now, and i have come to notice that he never forgives...whoever rejects his counsel or stands in his way, he devices all means to plot his downfall.

OBJ will never allow anybody outdo him, hence d timing of dis revelation...his intent is to shift people's attention away from d GCFR conferred on MKO...to reduce its after-effect to its barest minimum.

The arguments against LGA autonomy are simply without substance. The Local governments will need ti figure it out plain and simple. LGs will have to raise their IGR just like every other tier of government. They get allocation from federal government and are constutionally entitled to 10% of the state government IGR. Lastly the state government will like engage in cooperative federalism with Local government so they dont allow chaos to ensue.

I pray earnestly that things are sorted out effectively and swiftly to avoid conflict of interest, and so that things don't get messier for retirees and LG workers and teachers.

My only fear about this LG autonomy is that, primary school teachers will be at these chairmen's mercy for salaries and other benefits...and with d little things i learnt from history; d last time they had this autonomy, Primary School teachers suffered a lot.

Most of our LG Chairmen in Nigeria are half/full illiterates with money mismanagement flowing through their veins.

My brother, don't follow the statement of most people that God looks at the heart. God is no respected of man and he doesn't joke his religion (the way he wants people to act in life). Jesus and his disciplines didn't do this and i know that you wouldn't oppose the fact that Jesus would condemn any man who tried to plait his or pierce his ears.

Now see, I am a christian but i am now that good with bible portions...but where was it written in d bible that certain dress codes are for d male-folks or female-folks...Jesus was never seen wearing trousers which is seen as a man's dress code today-he was always in caftans- how do we explain that.

The monarch, while commissioning the road, relived his years as a youth in Rivers State and commended Governor Wike for working so well for the people of the state.

I beg to disagree with you sir...I've bn to a few high class social functions and I know how these things work...I insist a nobody can't get this close to d Senate Pres...as much as d uniform gives u d freedom to move at will during an event, it has its limit...during events like this, celebrants who holds very important position in d society are more vulnerable to attacks than ever, hence d huge presence of uniformed and mufti-ed security personal to protect.
