Please my school said I should be in school by Jan 12th and I received my i-20 on Friday. I just applied for my interviewed and was given Jan 12th. I was denied August when I wanted to go during the Fall semester. I intend applying for emergency request but it says it is limited only to applicants who have not been refused a visa within the last six months at either the U.S. Embassy in Abuja or the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos.
Please what do I do?

the only option that you have is to defer the admission. probably re-schedule or leave it at that.. depending on the next semester. I had previously applied for fall 2015. semester started sept 11, was asked to enter US on or before 21 sept. and that was my appointment date. I have to defer for next semester which is spring..Jan. and rescheduled my appointment for 23 Nov, which was today.... you know the rest of my story.

visa approved this morning 11:30am at the Abuja consulate. baba God noniii... God promised and fulfilled . blessed me..
window 6, that tough window.. the last was busy issuing green papers to people. I was still hating the drama and at same time telling God that my case must be different... I heard the call "window 6 next applicant". moved some steps to her and gave her my doc. she smiles and I smiled back hoping she would return the smile only for her to wear a mask of frown immediately.

that was how my joy became complete. and my nerves trying to calm. is God all the way. no doc was asked . all the evidence I was having all came home with me. ... all thanks goes to God again.

thank God also for NL. I must say this section got me ready. and for my good friend (Kellycute)... you are wonderful. he never stopped interviewing me me on whatsaap. and to the prospective applicants.. I say good luck . (please ignore spelling errors).

Nope. Black and white works pretty fine. Don't listen to those riff raffs at walter carrington. They just wanna eat your money. Ensure you print all your docs and take all your passport photographs before you go for your interview. Prices for printing and passports are 10x the normal price at the embassy.

However, we got our visas at different times, she got hers like a year after I got mine.
I only visited the US once and that was long ago, i hardly have time to travel, even local travellings.
Now, what can I do ? Can't the US immigration send her packing ? In fact, I sent an e mail to the USCIS and I gave them all my wife's details including her passport number and scanned copy of her visa, and till now they never responded. Can't they deport my wife ? Or how can a married woman just abscond with a little child and decide not to return

oga, why not you take this matter to the family iñstead of planning for her return cos as it sounds you wife might have tasted the waters and you can guess how sweet the thirst can be. getting her deported will definitely not give you and your family a good record. she wants to adjust her status... that could mean divorce! have you talked to the family on this matter?
maybe she is on the other hand trying to make it happen for you to join them. just do not think of doing her wrong cos it might turn against you..

You need to fill yours and confirm it rather than using an old sample which you called new format, If you dont get that aspect does not mean other wont get it. All i can say is sometimes this issue happened to few applicants.

OK.... maybe they chose not make it available as at the time I filled mine and that time was 4days ago.

I need help

I had applied for a visa some months ago and even rescheduled my appointment due to my admission deferment from fall 2015 to winter 2016. my problem is that I failed to complete the online DS-160 form before my application and when required during my application, I used my visa receipt number. now, I had done the right thing in completing the online DS-160 firm and now has the real confirmation code. what do I do?
how do I change the confirmation number?
am I in trouble?
will this affect my interview?
please I need help am losing my mind.
